I don’t see how it’s sensible to hide an app that a user is specifically searching for by its exact name. I’ve had so many people message me and tell me they couldn’t find my app, because they didn’t realize they had to click the tiny “did you mean Joystickd?” Correction at the top of the page. This is severely impacting my app’s discoverability, and I feel like I’ve already lost out on so many possible users. Doesn’t help that Apple takes weeks to respond

I have a MacBook Air M1 and for the past few months the sound has been terrible. I didn't care much as I don't really listen to anything on it but tonight I tried listening to an album and it was just awful.

The sound is all distorted and muddy especially when there is bass. It's almost like the volume was way way up past it's power limit. It isn't. I am listening at normal level.

I remember when I got it I was really impressed with the speakers when they sometimes had that eerie 3D jumping at you quality that was impressive. They were never loud or impactful but always nice.

My point is something is obviously wrong here but I don't know what.

Did that happened to anyone else here?

Any idea what's going on and what could I do? Could they be just broke?

Any help would be appreciated.

How to make this go away help (the little line is a reflection)

My phone keeps sending messages when I am not touching or interacting with my phone. The messages say sent by Siri but I’m literally not even touching my phone. How does this happen. My automatically send messages toggle is off so it can’t be that. Does anyone know how to fix this. It’s sent the same message to 3 people now🥀

Why is it temporary? For like 10 hours? Ever since my first iPhone, syncing photos to iCloud takes FOREVER. To Google Drive or Photos---instant. To iCloud? Ages.

For two weeks now my imessage bubbles have turned green and i cannot reply to messages directly in group chats or I dont receive messages from my other contacts. Ive tried doing the reset network settings, turning the imessage button and off and making sure to press my number, airplane mode and ensure the right connection. None of my contacts i message are android users. Whenever i try to fix it, it can only work temporarily then go back shortly after.

If someone has blocked you, when you send them an iMessage, will it still show as 'delivered,' as any other iMessage would? or if you are blocked, will it just not show as delivered?

Hello friends. So I have a new iPhone 18 Pro Max, coming from a 12 Pro Max and I wanted to set up the new phone completely cleanly. That is, not setup the new one from a back but do a lot of stuff manually so that any old settings would not get transferred over. Yes, a little crazy, but it’s my choice, my time to waste.

So I realized that a few contacts were not in my iCloud account (saved in Google) and wanted to transfer them over and airdrop seems the most efficient way. However, the poster doesn’t transfer over. All other details do, but not the poster.
All info I find online is about sharing my own contact poster. Has anyone else seen this or have some ideas?

I just updated my phone to 27.0.1 last night, and one of the most obvious differences is that Siri now sounds like a TikTok AI voice. I really hate it, and none of the voice options in settings are any better whatsoever. I don’t have Siri AI enabled, it just has the typical “AI trying to be convincing but it actually sounds uncanny and extremely bad” sound to it.

I need my headphones to be able to read messages to me when I’m not near my phone, and every time it has done so today, I physically shudder because of how much I hate the new voice.

I’ve lost pretty much all hope, but is there any workaround to this?

I posted this question in a few different subreddits but I’m going to ask again with more detail as I still haven’t found an answer.

About a month ago I deleted Apple Maps for a quick full storage fix. I redownloaded it again once I had the space but since then I’ve had this issue. It knows where I am, which direction I’m facing, and I can even pull up a route. The map itself just won’t load. Generally I use Google Maps to navigate, however I do rely on some other apps that are connected to Apple Maps, and those are not working for me either.

All correct network, time, and location settings are turned on for Maps and all connected apps. I have deleted, redownloaded, restarted my phone, updated my phone, cleared off storage, etc and the problem still persists.

So far I have also spoken with one other person who is having this issue.

I’ve tried contacting Apple support but that has gotten me nowhere as I cant figure out how to speak with a real person. I cannot figure out what the heck is going on… if anyone can help I would really appreciate it

I got a brand new 14 inch macbook pro, M5 over the summer. I have been having a problem with my messages ever since getting the computer, but it's really been bugging me lately. My messages send extremely slow on my mac. My old mac was on its last leg and would never update messages, so I was super excited to get my new one and have everything work fresh and perfectly. Sometimes my messages send at a normal speed, but most of the time, it takes extremely long and shows the blue bar trying to send. I am not sending any attachments or big files, a simple "hi" could take 20 seconds to go through. I have no problems texting on my iphone. Is there any way to fix this?

With the 27.0.1 update on a 17 Pro Max, I now have this window that opens up whenever I type. It duplicates whatever text I am typing, so the text is showing not only within the app (Mail, Messages, etc) but in this window. It adds nothing and is in the way when I need to look elsewhere on the page as I type. I cannot find how to get rid of it and cannot find any mention of it in release notes from Apple or other sites reviewing the OS update. Does anyone else have this and can I get rid of it?

Since first posting, I went through Settings again, turned off the Hover option and restarted the phone, but I see no change.

Ive been having spontaneous trackpad issues with my 2023 macbook pro over the past two weeks. 80% of the time, the trackpad is fine but sometimes it'll randomly freeze up. when this happens, the cursor doesn't move and the trackpad is stiff when pressing down. I usually restart it when it happens but even that doesn't always solve the issue. it just randomly "fixes" itself. ive gone to the apple store, theyve run diagnostics but nothing has been flagged (although the trackpad was working fine when diagnostics were being run). im not sure if this is a hardware or software issue, but I just wanted to put this out there in case someone has experienced a similar issue and has been able to resolve it.

I do want to mention that it has also been randomly shutting off when the battery is between 20-30% without warning. not sure if that could be related, but apple didn't give me any feedback on it since nothing came up on the diagnostic.

so recently my iPad 7 updated itself and now it’s stuck in a boot loop and will not restore no matter what I do, I only have access to Linux and using the tools I have available fail to recover the device. is there something I’m doing terrible wrong here or is my iPad cooked.

For context, I've had an iPhone Air since June. Zero issues.

My son is part of my Family Account. His iPad completely died and won't take a charge. He used his allowance to buy a new one. All good.

Trying to sign into his Apple ID account on the new device, he doesn't know his password. No big deal, I can change it for him on my phone. But when I go to his account info under Family, it says I am blocked from doing this because my device is "too new" (June?), which I understand is a security feature.

I also can't change it on the new iPad (too new as well... but gives me a date of November 2nd he can change it on there!)

I've tried the web browser, Iforgot and everything else. But I am at a loss at how I am supposed to be able to change his password at this point. Why is a three month old phone "too new" to change his password? It is a Trusted Device.

A few years ago, my first-gen iPhone SE stopped running Pokémon GO. Whenever I tapped the app it would immediately crash; on rare occasions it’d stay open for 2–3 minutes before quitting.

My mum gave me her old phone, which (despite a busted battery) at least runs the game. So I’ve been carrying two phones: one for daily use, and one I tether to via hotspot just to play Pokémon GO.

I upgraded to an iPhone 15 hoping to get back down to one device—but the app still crashes on launch, sometimes showing a “not compatible” error screen. I’m able to log into my profile on other iOS devices (iPads, other people’s iPhones.), so I’m wondering:
1. Is this an Apple ID / Game Center issue?
2. Can I reset Game Center or any settings on my Pokémon GO account to force a fresh install?
3. Does anyone know other troubleshooting steps for this exact problem?

I hate explaining why I carry two phones—it makes me look like a drug dealer! 😂 Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

So, I just bought M4 ipad with apple pencil pro and have trouble getting the double tap feature to work.
When I try to double tap to “switch between current tool and eraser” it just doesn’t work and what I notice is that when you have the “show tool palette” as your squeeze setting, on the first tap at an attempt to double tap it activates the squeeze feature which opens palette on my setting so on the second tap it just collapses the tool palette and can’t physically activate the double tap feature. The problem is that you only have show tool palette for squeeze and its not simply the matter of swapping the setting.
This is my first ipad and apple pencil device so i was wondering if anyone have the same problem and the work around this.
