Full Articles?
Just checking, how would the community feel about instead of posting links out that we try and get more operational style updates posted in full as articles here?

I know MSF personnel aren’t allowed to carry weapons, but like if a volunteer gets punched out of nowhere by someone, is the volunteer allowed to punch back?

I've read all the application stuff I was just wondering how likely it is for an Irish company emergency medicine doctor to be recruited for MSF with only English (and Irish but I know that wouldn't count).
I'd be opening to learning a new language I just don't fancy French and Arabic I would absolutely love to but I don't think I have the time for committing to such a difficult language. Would Spanish give much of an advantage?

I'm an ID doctor (new attending) and wondering what a career in MSF would look like?
I know pay is low and commitment is high with a lot of time overseas if it would be a full time job.
Is advancement through the organization possible for an anglophone? How do people maintain their US licenses. Does the organization count as nonprofit for something like US public service loan forgiveness (PSLF)? Thank you

Hi everyone,
I am currently pursuing a BA in European Studies. I would like to enroll in a Master's in the humanitarian field. I am also interest in Risk Management and Disaster Management. I am not interest in policy-oriented Master's. My dream job is to work on the field, either with a big international organisation or a smaller NGO. I am looking for Master's that provide hands-on knowledge and expertise, more than theoretical knowledge.
