tbh i don’t know if its appropriate place to post this and even tho my boyfriend is sudanese he still grew up in saudi Arabia.so i’ve been wondering if he takes me seriously.
both of us are students and he came to my country to study,we have age gap 2 years.i know him for 9 months and during this time he was putting a lot of effort into relationship and was waiting for me until i would want a relationship.eventually i said yes and now we are daiting for 1 month.
he got to know my mom and she was keep asking him questions like what we want to do in future?or if he takes me seriously and he said that if he didn’t take this related seriously he wouldn’t even waste his time here and he gives me time to finish study and after that he wants us to get married.
but as i can see his parents doesn’t fully know abt me.i dont remember clearly but he told something to his dad and said my name and his dad immediately asked if i am muslim, and if i am not i should convert.even when we go out and he tells his dad that he is with friends his dad always says something like spend ur time with ur girl or smth.we talked if his parents will be ok if he brings christian girl and he said that they will be ok with that eventually.
at the same time he wants me to come to his sisters graduation and meet his parents and his sister as well there.
most important part is that he is considering moving to another city now and we dont even know what will happen between us but i am still confused that he isnt considering us in the future or what we wanna do maybe because there’s still a lot of time.

Okay, so today, while having a pizza party with my friends, I stumbled upon a mind-boggling possibility.
After taking their first bites, one of my friends said, “Pizzas are so damn marvellous that they touch my soul whenever I eat them,” while the other replied, “Yeah, sometimes they just feel out of this world.”
Their statements sent my mind racing,I figured out pizzas could be evidence of a connection between the human soul and the mysteries of the universe.
The pyramids have long inspired theories about extraterrestrial encounters/alien visitations and legends like supernatural wardens/mummy’s curse
According to archaeologists, ancient Egyptians believed that after death, the soul leaves the physical body and return to it for resting, hence they are mummified. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want snacks while resting? And since humans couldn’t provide them, perhaps they contacted aliens to deliver some snacks instead.
Interestingly, Italy, the birthplace of pizza, is also home to the mysterious Val Camonica rock engravings, some of which are believed to resemble ancient astronauts, i.e., aliens.
This raises the possibility that aliens once travelled to Italy to prepare the pizzas, or at least collect the ingredients, before delivering them to the souls resting inside Egyptian pyramids.
This would also mean that pizzas were an alien invention to satisfy human souls that humanity eventually learned to prepare.
Perhaps every slice carries a secret history that the universe has yet to reveal. What do you think?

At the time, he was talking about the divisions Arabs had. I rewatched his speech today with my father(a very proud Arab) and he said with a very deafeated tone: "true". What do you think?

27M, complicated relationship with my parents, I live about 3 hours from my parents in a city that there isn’t much to do at night. They’re visiting me for the first time and I spent the day with them (took them for food, showed them the city, etc). But come 9pm everything basically closed and I took them back to their hotel (I am in a relationship they don’t approve of and my dad doesn’t know about it so I can’t accommodate them at my place).
I feel horrible for leaving them at the hotel at night. Am I being a bad son/host? I feel like I am, like maybe I should’ve given them my room, and had my partner leave the apartment while they’re here but thats a strain because theyre staying the entire weekend.
I guess I’m looking for reassurance and ideas for next time.

(Hello everyone),
Thank you to the moderators for letting me post this, and thanks to everyone for taking the time to read it.
I'm a solo developer from the Czech Republic. Two years ago I started building Ziola, an Android launcher, for my grandad, whose eyesight was getting worse and who kept pressing the wrong buttons on his phone. It replaces the home screen, the Phone app and the SMS app with one simple interface: large buttons, large readable text and high contrast.
The app is translated into more than 60 languages, including Arabic. I'm not an Arabic speaker, so I'd really value the opinion of people who are. I don't want to assume the translation is right just because it exists.
A short session is already very helpful, 20 to 30 minutes is plenty. If you'd like to use it longer, you're welcome to, but it isn't required. Only a few lines of feedback are needed, and I'm not asking anyone to proofread the whole app.
Dialect and regional differences matter to me too. If a word is fine in one country but strange in another, please tell me where you're from, so I can decide how to handle it.
The app is in Google Play closed testing, so it doesn't show up in a normal search. A few extra steps are needed:
Right after opting in, the Play Store sometimes shows "app not found" and starts working a little later. If that happens, please try again after a while.
The checkout is only a simulation, so no real payment takes place and you should never enter your own card. Use this test card instead: 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry date and any three-digit CVV.
Please write your feedback here in the comments, or by private message if you prefer. Replies in Arabic or English are both welcome.
(Thank you very much for your time). Your opinion truly matters to me.
Viktor
