Sorry for posting about this and venting again, but unfortunately, my workers’ comp leave got extended for another two weeks. 🥲

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about the whole situation. Part of me feels like I’m not even injured badly enough to be off work for basically a month, so being out this long feels a little surreal. While having time off to recover is nice, it’s also been incredibly stressful.

I’m worried about my other job potentially letting me go because of my extended leave of absence, and financially, things have been weighing on me, too. Workers’ comp doesn’t cover my full usual paycheck, and I’m also missing the income from my other jobs. My bills obviously haven’t stopped just because I’m unable to work, so I’ve been pretty anxious about money lately.

I know I need to give myself time to recover, but it’s hard not to feel guilty or stressed when there are so many other things to worry about. I’m trying to take things one day at a time, but some days are definitely harder than others.

I guess I’m requesting some happy mail to keep me occupied while I’m stuck at home! 💌 Cards and postcards give me something to look forward to, and I’d really appreciate some words of encouragement or reminders that things will eventually work out.

Of course, I’d also love to hear about your day, your hobbies, something funny that happened to you, or literally anything you feel like writing about! I’m happy with any kind of card.

Thank you for reading my little vent, and thank you to anyone who takes the time to send a little happiness my way. ❤️

Looking for the 3rd recipient of the Sanrio TPC that u/murdocniccalshast1d started!

Couple of requirements:

Be flaired, in the US, and please only accept if you have time to pass it on

Hello! I'm planning to officially move on my sister's old bedroom, and her room have a small room that I'm planning to make as my hobby room. I'm thinking of making a postcard wall of themes I particularly enjoy. After thinking about it, I decided I want the theme to be city night view/night sky and lighthouses. They can be illustrated or photographed. I have collected quite a few postcards of those themes, but if you have some postcard to spare, I would greatly appreciate it. I will make sure to post thank you for every card I receive. Mahalo Nui!

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, it happened to me too - I accidentally bought some AI-generated postcards at a local shop. It was a little shop selling only handmade items by local artists and crafters, so who would have thought the postcards would be AI-generated?

It wasn’t until I took a closer look at them at home that I realized they weren’t made by a human. They’re quite pretty, with a vintage style and matching backs, but they’re definitely AI-generated. I don’t support AI-generated postcards, and I was really disappointed. Still, I felt that throwing them away wouldn't be good decision too.

So... is there anyone here who wouldn’t mind receiving one? I’ll also include a hand-painted watercolour bookmark, to give it a little human touch haha

Please, be flaired

Hello! 🌈

I love collecting different types of packaging! If you also love recycled postcards comment/msg me if you’d like a savory or sweet food postcard, no need to send one in return :) 🧀🍓🍰🍹

Note: most of my savoury food cards are meat based so pls specify if you would prefer something else!

Thank you u/SnooHabits2586

Thank you both!

I have four leftover Halloween/pumpkin/fall themed postcards I'd love to send out in the next few days! I'll write about the recent scary movies I've watched or my favorite Halloween-time traditions.

Please PM me with your info if you're interested!

• 3 cards for Allhallowtide. Will get these to you before Remembrance Sunday.

• 2 cards for Día de los Muertos. Will send these asap.

If you're interested, please comment below which one you are interested in claiming. Put "Allhallowtide" OR "Día de los Muertos" in your comment.

In exchange, I'd like an autumn-themed card or a card for Allhallowtide/Día de los Muertos or a nice card in the spirit of honoring our love for those we miss (like a pretty landscape or flowers or something tied to your own remembrance, which you don't need to share with me, just something that would bring joy to your own loved one). Folded cards in envelopes, postcards or any card is fine. Handmade, upcycled or bought are also all fine.

Names will be chosen tomorrow. Please, be ready with your info if I contact you for the Día de los Muertos cards.

mystery sender, thank you for this postcard and the vanilla fact. They stamped over your username so I can't read it.

Hello everyone!

SL Post released these postcards on world post day (Oct 9) and I bought a few online. I’d love to share four of them with you. I also have three matching stamps to go with the postcards (the stamps won’t be placed on the picture side).

If you’d like one, just leave a comment with a writing prompt for me. I’ll choose four people at random.

Thank you and happy postcarding!

I leave for 5 days to do some work training and I am not even surprised that I came back to some wonderful mail! Thank you for once again spoiling me!

(1) Thank you for the Jupiter’s Moons postcard. I am saddened that you could not get your telescope experience with your gifted telescope.

(2) Thank you for the aerial view postcard of the Unisphere with all of the flags and of course your homage to your Metsies. I adore how much you love the Unisphere.

(3) Thank you for the World’s Fair postcard from the Queens Museum. I am just a little obsessed with the design using a painters palette to display the photos.

(4) When I made a joke in a thank you post, I did not actually expect to get a Yankees postcard in the mail. I did get a pretty good laugh upon seeing it. I loved reading about your time at ComicCon!
