Welcome to Another Weekly "What Have You Been Playing?" Thread! 👾

I'm looking for some casual mobile games that are genuinely addictive lol 😭 The kind of games you open when you're bored and end up playing for ages.

I currently play Water Sort, Asian Cooking Star, Meowdoku and Tile Explorer, and I'm looking for more games with a similar vibe. I like games that are easy to get into, satisfying to play and don't require me to put too much thought or effort into them.

I'm open to puzzle games, sorting games, cooking games, matching games or anything else as long as it's fun and keeps me coming back.

Preferably Android games, and free ones would be great, but paid recommendations are welcome too if they're worth it.

So yeah, drop your favourite addictive mobile games! I need something new to get obsessed with lol 😭

I'm using a Galaxy Z Fold 8 and using Droid Deck to play Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. It's running at a pretty consistent 60 frames per second, but I went ahead and purchased Lossless Scaling from Steam, which helps in case there's a few frame dips. I lowered the resolution to 720p and medium settings. I think it looks pretty good. Droid Deck is certainly advancing pretty fast.

Anybody else play South Park Phone Destroyer? Its funny because its south park but its also a really solid strategy game. I literally never get tired of pvp battles, I get way too into them sometimes.

If you haven't played it its basically magic the gathering with south park themed cards and real time instead of turn based. You have an energy bar that always refills and the characters appear on the battlefield and fight after you play each card.

Its not too complex where it takes forever to learn all the cards but complex enough that theres a bunch of strategies to go with or battle against.

Def my fav strategy game right now, maybe i am a little biased because I am a big sp fan tho lol.

Is there anyone else who prefers to play levels by taking the most inconvenient path possible?

Looking for Android games where enemies remember you. Rivals that come back after you beat them, get stronger, hold a grudge, that kind of thing. Like the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor / Shadow of War.

Doesn't have to be open world or even action. Strategy or roguelike is fine as long as there's some of that "this guy has history with me" feeling. Ideally something that doesn't take 80 hours, I don't have that kind of time anymore.

Premium or free is fine, just not pay to win please.

It's A Oneplus Nord 6 (8/256).... Well I don't need to tell anything, y'all can know what's happening here...

I need an Android game and I need a game not pushing or competitive but rather relaxing fun to play like 15 minutes break between works . I'm mostly into kingdom building games like kingdoms and lords by Gameloft or pixlated games like stardew valley. I would really appreciate any game suggestion and also it would be super cool if it's under 1gb and runs smooth on older devices

I have a samsung S24 ultra and a gamesir g8 galileo and I wish to connect them both as a controller to my pc maybe as a dualshock 4. Is there any way to do so?

I will be traveling via train for the next two days which limited and unstable network. Please suggest some offline games that I can play to kill time. My interests are FPP, war theme, COD, racing etc..

How many games do you guys have installed on your phone?

Do you prefer keeping it under 10, or do you guys have 20+ games installed? I mostly play offline games, so I’m curious what the sweet spot is for everyone:))

Hi!

I made this game, Routinvale, for gamers who want to be more productive in their everyday lives.

Instead of daily tasks (working out, eating healthy), you have quests. For every quest you finish, you get XP and gold to buy items, and your main attributes go up, so you get stronger and can fight enemies.

A few things I really care about:

• The app works offline and you don’t need an account. Your quests stay on your phone. The game only sends anonymous statistics and crash reports (you can turn them off in Settings), and guilds go online only if you join one.
• There are no banner or pop-up ads. I added a few optional ways to watch an ad for a bonus (like double gold).
• Private guilds: you can add your friends to a guild that only you can see, where you can create shared quests, and there’s a ranking system.

The app is still at the beginning and I’m very open to suggestions. Hope you like it :)

Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.razvanpetrascu.routinvale
(iOS isn’t supported yet)

Anyone else really feelin this game? It's a nice mix of rogue, management, strategy, rpg.

Controller with tablet is the sweet spot 👌

Platformer Games that I loved so far ngl, so good:

- Nameless Cat

- Cat Bird

- Kitty Death Room

- Apple Knight 1 and 2

- Ninja Arashi 1 and 2

- Dan the Man

- Magic Rampage

Suggest me some more free platformers thank you :D

Looking for an open world game with good graphics, lots of possible exploration and good story. I'm fine with paid, not P2W tho. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance. No crafting would be good but optional.

Just wondering if anyone has heard what and when the Door Kicker 2 rollout plan will be? I have heard it will be released regionally but can't seem to find details.

Ambition 2.0 is out. Enjoy.

Hi

Is anybody playing Idle Crystal Miner? Don't ask me why, I find it pretty satisfying ro see that big stalactite being drilled..

I was wondering if the game can be enjoyed at a decent rate without IAP or just with the ad removal (which I realized is truly out of the market.. but I'm having fun so might even consider putting some money in).

The game is this one

Thanks!

I recently got a Samsung S25 and I want some game recommendations. Give me your absolute gems. I want games with major replayability so I will always be able to come back to it and not delete after first few minutes. Thanks.

Edit: I'd like something open world.

bored and wanting something a bit different. I've been playing mostly sea of conquest and war thunder mobile. Wanting something thats easy to get into and isn't completely pay to win, don't mind the occasional ad or two. Preferably something that doesn't take up too much space and won't eat through my battery especially fast (looking at you wt)

I'm looking for a city builder I can play on my phone that won't become a classic pay to play scenario. Happy to pay for the game itself and any ad removals, but doesn't lock me into paying or having timers that I can conveniently pay to skip.

Hi fellow member of this subreddit, i have a question for you all. Suggestion for mobile game? I absolutely love slay the spire, baratro, binding of isaac(pc) and hades(pc), someone tell me to also play: enter the gungeon, vampire surbivor, dead cell and god breaker, but i have to try all of that

Sooooo i wait for anyone who wanna help, thank you all (not a native english speaker, so sorry for typo)

Used to watch my brother play this game sorta similar to skyrim on his ipad. It was called ravensword shadowlands.

I have found the listing on the google play store, however, my phone(s24 ultra) is too new. Anyone know how I could play it?

I've been solo-developing a mobile MOBA in Godot for the last while, and it's now live on Google Play. Figured I'd share it here since r/AndroidGaming has been a good source of feedback during development.

What it is: Fast 5v5 hero battles. Pick from 18 champions across six roles, push the lanes, and topple the enemy King. Matches are designed to be quick enough for mobile sessions.

Key features:

18 champions in six roles (tank, support, assassin, mage, marksman, fighter)

Online 5v5 with bots filling empty seats so you never wait in queue

Clan system with points, league ranking, and chat

Champion cosmetics and outfits

Regular content updates

Monetization: Free to install. In-app purchases range from $0.99 to $99.99, all cosmetic or champion unlocks. No pay-to-win.

I'm the sole developer, so feedback on gameplay feel, balance, or anything that feels off is genuinely useful. Happy to answer questions about the Godot side of things too if anyone is curious about the tech stack.
