So I was noticing that when trying to play Master System games on my Genesis using an actual SMS controller, I can control the games just fine, but I’m unable to navigate the everdrive menu. I have to plug in a Genesis controller to select the game, then switch to my SMS controller to play. Is this normal? Does anyone know of a workaround?

Bought a n8 pro off marketplace and everything was working fine for about a week, the cart came with sd that already had a lot of games on it, we were loading up game after game and when we tried to start a race on one of them the screen when gray. Now the red light doesn’t come on at all, we got a new sd and downloaded everything from the krikzz site back onto it but it’s the same gray screen no red light no matter what. I’m wondering if it’s mechanical or if any of yall had any clues or questions, thanks again

I just bought a Everdrive N8 Pro, and tried to use it on my Retron 3. I just get a blue-gray screen. Resetting just turns the screen black, and occasionally the letter A just imposed across the screen. I have other Everdrive carts, inlcuding an SNES and Mega Drive one, both of which work fine on the Retron. I've tried both the legacy firmware and the newer format OS file, and the results are the same. Has anyone else had this problem, or is there something I'm missing?

Hello everyone! I am trying to find an up-to-date list of the emulators that can be installed on the Everdrive 64 x7, but I haven't had any luck.

Does anyone know if such a list exists anywhere? And if not, could you post the names of any emulators you've gotten to work on your 64 x7?

I haven't modified the game at all, and the same dump works on mGBA just fine. It seems consistent with crashes on EZ-Flash Omega. As soon as the Space Pirate vessel starts to blow up, the game just freezes. Anything I can do?

I've been getting conflicting or incomplete information based on my research and I'm hoping asking my direct question will yield the answer I seek.

I have a PC Engine Duo-R and a Turbo Everdrive Core.

With the TED 2.5, one could load the BIOS.pce file to launch an inserted CD game, but that could potentially damage your system.

To mitigate this, you either ran a 3rd party OS (TEOS I believe) OR run a patched version of the BIOS (3.1).

Is use of the patched BIOS necessary for the Turbo Everdrive Core, or can I use the regular 3.0 BIOS?
I ask as some people say "if you have an older TED" you need it if not using TEOS.

I reckon it wouldn't hurt to use the patched version, but I'm curious.

(And in case anyone is wondering why I don't just remove the TED Core to play a CD game, it's due to the convenience of not needing to remove the Everdrive to play a CD game unless I want to use a different HuCard).

Does the mini provide the ability to save game progress? Or is that only on the pro? Can’t come to a clear conclusion.

Does anybody know any gbc emulators that will run on a gba everdrive besides goomba? There's a romhack I really want to be able to play on it, but it crashes if I try to run it with jagoomba. It runs fine on mgba and Sameboy, but I don't know if or how to get one of those working on my cart

Hey guys, I got a N64 Everdrive Pro and there is almost zero setup info. The manual completely omits it and IDK if I should use the X series setup and just replace the firmware, which btw the Pro firmware does not come in a zip that includes the ED64 file or anything.
Also when I upload a NES game it's way off center and I'm unsure if that's because it does not have something else required of me in setup. I've always been satisfied with these products and I'm just baffled there is zero care into this one as far as user information. I'ts bizzare

Hello all, I’ve been experiencing an issue that is a minor annoyance with my new Mega Everdrive Core. Hopefully there is a simple fix or explanation that I just haven’t found yet.

I will get “Error 08 Unexpected Error” messages when resetting or power cycling the system after playing certain games. I have noticed that it happens most often with sports games, though it has happened with a few others.

If I go into the sysdata files on the SD card and delete the registry and recent files, the cart reloads them on next startup and it’s fine…until the next sports game.

I’m using an Amazon Basics 128 GB card formatted in exfat. The Core wouldn’t recognize my Sandisk 256 GB card at all, this was a card I had lying around. This is being used on a Genesis model 2 with CD & 32X. OEM power supplies are used with all. No, I’m not trying to play CD roms on my Core cart.

I appreciate any assistance that anyone can provide.

Do the Mega EverDrive X3 or X5 support Mode A (instant boot)? I’d like to boot straight into the selected game as soon as I turn on the console, without having to go through the EverDrive menu.

Is this possible with either the X3 or X5, or is this feature only available on higher-end models?

I am having some issues with my saves not saving.

Everdrive Mini 5 (upgraded to the latest OS)... I have had it for a number of years, not used a lot

Save Type is EEPROM (other listings cause corrupt messages and will not save)

Roms are loaded onto 32gb SD card, no issues

When I turn on the GBA SP, I get the popup saying the CR1220 is run dry and needs replaced.

I am attempting to run Zelda A Link To The Past. I can create a save game, says it all saves successfully but when I turn off the unit and turn it back on, it loses all of my activity, like my saves never really saved.

Hi, I just bought an N8 Pro (manufactured on 2021) to use it with my modded AV Famicom with NESRGB (v2 I believe).

The NESrgb board has been modded with the Audio Balance Restoration Mod (https://retrorgb.com/av-famicom-hvc-101-audio-balance-restoration-mod.html)

The N8 Pro refuses to boot up at all but cartridges work with no issues.

I’m using a PSU Triad WSX090-2500-R so it should provide enough power for the Famicom, NESRGB and N8.

Has anyone come across a similar issue with an N8 and a modded Famicom/nes?

I recently got a Mega EverDrive PRO, and I've noticed that the in-game menu does not open when hitting down+start. I update the firmware when I got it, and I've triple checked that it's turned on. It happens with every game. I should mention that I have a 32X and Sega CD attached.

P.S. Do I have to use the in-game menu to reset a game without going back to the game list? Just want to know in case I wanted to play a game like X-Men that uses the reset button.

I have a saved game on my GBx7.

I now have a GBA SP that has a bad pin so it can't read GB/GBC carts, but it can still read GBA carts, including my GBAMini, letting me continue to play GB and GBC games.

If possible, I'd prefer to not re-do about 18 hours of play to get back to where I was.

For context, I have a SNES and an FXPAK Pro. In theory, there shouldn't be an issue here. I'm using the best power supply you can be using for this system (triad), I'm using a fat32 formatted microsd card that I tested on my computer with h2testw (came back perfectly). This issue I'm about to describe has been observed both before and after recapping my console.

In short: sometimes, my games freeze, the audio/music continues to play, and then when I reboot my console (either by using a long reset to choose the game again or by a regular power cycle), my save file is gone. As if it has been overwritten by a blank, new file.

I don't understand. I've run the burn in test on this console--every field came back as PASS. I ran the SD2SNES diagnostics firmware on this console, and it also came back perfectly with zero indication of issue.

Has anyone had a similar experience here? I've contact Krikzz support about this issue as well. The cart was purchased new, and I can confirm it is new. But in this scenario, I can't tell if it is the cart or the console at fault. I want to believe it's the console, but it's hard to tell.

Edit: For a little bit more context, this has happened to me a few times in Yoshi's Island (I have to restart every time it happens), and it's happened to me in Earthbound.

I have to click “unknown cartridge” which is so annoying as I had it set up with the correct cartridge name why did this happen ?

Hi, when I purchased my Everdrive 64 X7, the color ways offered were Standard Grey and Funtastic Red. I chose the Funtastic Red.

That said, I just picked up a Transparent Clear Analogue 3D, and would love to have a matching Everdrive 64 X7. I see that KRIkzz made clear shell for this model, but I don’t recall ever seeing it offered, and I don’t currently see it up for sale anywhere.

What’s the best way for me to get a clear transparent shell, other than upgrading to the Everdrive 64 Pro?

Do people trade their Everdrives, can you buy the shells separately, etc?

I recently received my Everdrive 64 Pro but I've been having difficulty setting it up. Every time I boot it up, I get "MCU-FS Disk Error."

I formatted my 32 GB SanDisk Ultra microSD card to FAT32 with a 32 kb allocation unit size, both as a Quick Format and a slow regular format. I've run CHKDSK on it and reformatted afterwards. I've also formatted it using Rufus and guiformat. I've even tried putting ROMs on there first, alongside the OS installer (the one I'm using is ed64-pro-fw-v26.0812.efu), and still, same exact error every single time. Is my card just cooked? Could it be because I'm using a modded N64? (this one is from Hand Held Legend) I'm at a loss here.
