This is potential schedule for next sem, do yall think it’s manageable with CS429. Also all to professors have a really low rating on rmp 😭😭 so I was wondering if there is someone that you liked. I was thinking about petitioning for honors for 429, cuz I have seen that those professors are a bit better, but I want to y’all’s opinion

Question Is there still a lot of trash on Waller Creek?

I've seen posts from as far as at least 4 years ago, showing a small amount of trash in Waller Creek. Is there still some trash in Waller Creek to this day?

I feel like I only know straight people, and obv there's nothing wrong with that but I'd love more queer friends.

Question People with experience in mental illness, do you think I should withdrawal or take a gap semester?

Bio sophomore here. Was an AP Student in HS, top 5% of my class like most others at UT, and was a 4.0 student last year. Have been experiencing gradual, general burnout since the summer before senior year of HS marked by poor concentration, brain fog, didn't know what the cause was. I basically just pushed through senior year and last year, but during that time my wit, eloquence, and cognition withered as a whole. I would say I've had lifelong depression but was also very intelligent as a child and pushed through negative self talk and chronic insecurities from a young age.

Fast forward to now, it's hard to remember what I ate for dinner last night. I can't retain what I'm learning in class, when I'm class I just look at the clock waiting to get out. I can look at something, practice it over and over and still not remember it. And mind you, I've been medicated for ADHD for 7 years. And I've been on 4 different antidepressants and the brain fog is still here. Medical labs are clear so it's not like an organic thing is causing my brain fog, it's depression. I can only study/work on anything school related for 2 hours a day before my brain just gives out.
It feels impossible to look for internships for the summer, deal with depression, study and stay on top of class concepts, be in a research lab (I got into one last year when my brain fog was a smidge more manageable), have a social life, and remember to do things like grocery shop. This just feels unsustainable. I do not know what to do anymore.

Question Rank the hardest ME course

I just wanna know which courses people felt were the most difficult in MechE curriculum. I know it kinda depends on professors too, but if you were to take the average, how would the ranking of the most difficult course look like?
