We anticipate that BCycle will remain available on campus through the end of the fall quarter. However, impacts to bike availability and the discounted memberships that had been provided by BCycle are unknown at this time. The campus will provide updates as we learn more.

Hey everyone! I’m new to UCSC and looking for recommendations for a reliable nail tech in the area who does preferably Gel-X.

My top priorities are cleanliness/properly sanitized tools and affordable, student-friendly pricing. I’m completely open to both local salon recommendations and independent or student nail techs on/near campus, etc.

If you know anyone great), please drop their Instagram handle, salon name, or pricing info below. Thanks so much!

Hello! We are reaching out to anyone at UCSC who wants to start their own Geometry Dash club! I think it would be great if we could get more schools involved.

Basically, our group (Geometry Dash at UCI) is starting a project involving several UC, CSU, and other schools called "GD Collegiate California." There are already like almost 80 members, some from various UC schools, CSU, and community colleges.

You might be able to meet others from UCSC! And eventually, we want to host statewide tournaments. We are currently in the process of planning a LAN event.

You never know how many people share your interests, but it only takes a few people to get together to form a club, which is what happened with us.

Hi!

I'm looking for a student (AFAB) who wants to live off campus starting winter quarter.

A little bit about the place:

- rent is ~$1,030/mo and is a double (you will be sharing a room with someone)

- We have in in unit washer and dryer

- 2 Bathrooms

- The place is fully furnished

- We have a gym/pool in the APT complex

- It's close to coastal campus/natural bridges

- Bus stop ~7 min away

- Kitchen/Dining

- Sometimes have apt events

- Have additional parking space (you can split it with my other roommates).

Here are some pics of the apartment (I can't upload multiple attachments so I'm doing this)

are there any turks on campus looking to hang out sometime? i got no luck from the turkish student association because theyve been inactive for so long.

Hey guys! I’m thinking about getting a small poker group together on campus and was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining or helping organize it. Mostly just looking for people who enjoy Texas Hold’em and would be down to play some casual games. Let me know if you’re interested!

Hello fellow slugs,

I was wondering what the best places/streets to be on Halloween are (either on or off campus). I heard downtown is good after 9pm for seeing cool events and costumes. Also I know there are a few house parties being hosted but I don’t know which ones would be worth my time. I won’t be doing trick-or-treating this year, but I will have a costume and want to see house decorations! Thanks in advance. 🐌

Hey, if anyone finds my ID initials are IH that is affiliated with PORTER, that is me Please reply to this thread, so I can figure out if I can pick it up somewhere on campus. thank you 😭😭😭

So I'm in my undergrad environment science major, astronomy minor, (did calc 1 and 2), by the time I finish my BS I will have finished an internship, have a research paper published + some other research opportunities/ certificates under my belt (those would be related to astronomy though) my gpa is around a 3.6

What are the chances I would get into the PhD program?

Hey guys! I’m thinking about getting a small poker group together on campus and was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining or helping organize it. Mostly just looking for people who enjoy no limit Texas Hold’em and would be down to play some casual games. Let me know if you’re interested! The action would be small (0.5/1) or (1/2)

3.5 uw gpa 3.6 w gpa, two C’s (freshman bio and alg2). I’m applying for neuroscience major. My extracurriculars are mid. Do I have any chances of getting in or waitlisted?

Has anyone taken BIOL20A with Guido Bordignon? He said the exam would include 50 MCQs, plus a few examples from class as questions.

Does anyone have a similar study guide for midterm 1, or even just an idea of what kinds of questions were on the exam? Are they more straightforward, application-based, etc.?

I am reviewing the book topics fully, skimming through the lectures, and making quizzes out of the book content.

Would that be a good way to study? It would help a lot to get an idea of whether I'm prepared enough or not. Thank you!

Hi all, hope you are well,

I had a package delivered today that never made it to the mailroom. It actually showed as delivered before the truck even showed up at the kresge mailroom. The delivery picture was taken inside the truck so I have no way of knowing where it was delivered. The address printed on the package is UCSC KRESGE COLLEGE 510 PORTER-KRESGE RD # 796 PMB SANTA CRUZ, CA 95064-1103. If anyone has seen it or found it please dm me either on here or on instagram at @/tboy_autism. The position of the truck when it said it was delivered was by the recital hall but I looked everywhere in that area and couldn't find it :[

Thank you!

As of June 1, being enrolled at least half time in an associate or bachelor’s program at a UC, CSU or community college is enough to meet the student rule. Income limits still apply.

I’m a California college student from Folsom. I wrote a free plain-language guide to the eligibility rules, since the change got almost no campus coverage. No ads, no sign-up, nothing collected.

Applications go through getcalfresh.org, and UCSC Basic Needs has a CalFresh page for students.

My mailroom says no grocery deliveries and i need my asian food 😡

Do we have resources on campus for food? Someone said redwood?

Anything helps, thank you.
