I really want to dress up for halloween because I haven’t done it in almost 8 years and I finally have the courage to face my social anxiety. But I don’t have any friends. Just people I study with who have their own friend groups. I really want to dress up but I don’t have a costume but even if I did, I dont know what I would even do on Sat. I dont want to be in some nerdy costume walking around on my own. Like what even is there to do in Davis? Im not trying to go to some frat party but would love to party and drink. It really sucks because I have such good ideas for costumes but it’s so late to figure it all out and it will be irrelevant next year. This really sucks. It’s like Im stuck in a loop.

will any students who dont have a family to spend thanksgiving/christmas with be in davis during those weeks? this is my first year not having anyone to spend thanksgiving with and i feel really alone. im a second year student if anyone is interested in maybe making plans 🥲

Are there any martial arts clubs at UCD that you guys would recommend?? I know there is a BJJ club and I’m planning on checking them out this Tuesday but I’m curious if there are any good striking clubs?

If so how hard are they to get into?? And are they actually good? I would imagine they would be pretty packed.

Also if you guys could recommend any fighting gyms in the area that would be awesome!

finished my chem midterm on a few days ago and immediately after that I start feeling sick so since it’s the weekend I decide to drive back home and recover there for the weekend. it’s Sunday I have class tomorrow but I still feel shitty and I don’t know if it’s a good idea to attend lecture tomorrow. I was thinking of spending the night tonight and leaving tomorrow morning to give myself some more rest. but the thing is I have a my second midterm this Friday as well and am worried about not doing well on it because I’m too ill to study. I think I’ll be good to take it by Friday but the thing is I just ran through the practice exam and only like half of it makes sense. it’s my second midterm for mat 17a if that helps. I don’t know what should I do?? I really want a good score on this midterm
