he was my professor for DMS213 and he never met up for office hours. he only met through Zoom meetings, and in my opinion, his voice sounded very robotic and deep. maybe he just talked like that.
anyways, on wikipiedia, it says he died in 2017. i looked at the image and it's the same guy with the same name...
is this an error in wiki or is a robotic clone or impersonator teaching the class

I am a freshman. I heard these core courses can be hard. I heard that 220 and 331 is difficult. Should I take courses in this order? I saw some students skip courses. Is that allowed?

Had to miss a class, so I might have missed the prof saying this. Anyone else taking this, please let me know.

Hi yall. For anyone that's taken a masters level class, what're they like in general? I know they're (generally) harder than undergrad, but I was wondering in what ways. I'm looking at enrolling in a civil engineering one as a senior next semester, so any information at all is greatly appreciated.

Nightingale seems to have good ratings for 207 but not 208, and Nebolcky has only 2 reviews that are for an entirely separate class. Does anyone that’s taken the class with either have a recommendation for which I should take 208 with?

I recently graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from UB. I somewhat enjoyed the program and did pretty well. I was able to find a job in industrial engineering, but I learned quickly this is not the area I want to be in (high starting pay but growth is low, and it’s not a job I like at all).
I’ve been doing some job searching and have seen a ton of data science/analyst jobs that don’t seem too bad, and (hopefully) would improve some QOL issues. For one there are options a lot closer to home, hybrid/remote options, and much higher top end pay. The work also seems more interesting with opportunities to grow, and it would get me out of a factory setting.
So, seeing all of these jobs and benefits has me considering the Engineering Sciences Masters with a data science focus. Has anyone here done this program? How is it, and how did it set you up for a job/life?
Thanks in advance for any responses!

Hey everyone, I'm a freshman in the honors college and I made my schedule for priority registration which is on Thursday but when I tried validating it in schedule builder it said one of my courses wasn't validated because I didn't meet the pre requisites. The course was MTH306, differential equations. I took AP calc BC and I'm currently in calc 3 so I do have the required credits.
I emailed my honors advisor yesterday but I got an automated message saying that since it was a busy time they might not get back to my email right away. I want to make sure I can send my schedule through right as the thing opens so I can make sure I fit all my classes in so if anyone has any ideas that would be great

Does anyone what could help me ace this bio200 midterm. Is it better to do flashcards of all these organisms or just organize my cheat sheet so I could find them? There is just sooo much organisms and subcategories I don't know how I can do it without blending the names and characteristics
