Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is “not with us,” Kalen DeBoer said Monday at the Monday Morning Quarterback Club in Birmingham.

“We have an expectation and a standard in our program,” DeBoer said. “Team rules. Things that go along with that. There’s still some details I’m trying to understand. It’s enough to where we know that’s not how we operate.”

This will be the first Alabama and LSU afternoon game at Tiger Stadium since 2010

“Ryan in particular, I’m hopeful that he’ll be ready for the LSU game,” said DeBoer before speaking to the Monday Morning Quarterback Club. “Really, a lot of the guys are, this is a big week. And they’re not in the clear yet, but we’re hoping that that rolls over into next week to where they’ll be out there practicing.

“Not all of them are exactly on the same timeline, but Ryan in particular, I hope by next week that he’ll be able to give us quite a bit.”

This is why we can’t run the bawl!

Two of those penalties came on 3rd down

• 1st TD: Dijon Lee DPI on 3rd and 10
• 1st FG: Red Morgan targeting
• 2nd FG: Chuck McDonald offsides on 3rd and 4

The only drive with an Alabama penalty they didn't score on was the first one with Dijon Lee's pick six.

It is worth noting the first field goal did come on a short field after Keelon Russell's interception. The Aggies also had their own penalty that drive.

Saw he was suspended before the game and that's it. Will he be back for LSU or is that it?

The streak was starting to look a tad dicey today ngl

• 21 tackles in 7 games, averaging 3.0 tackles per game.
• 1 interception for a 30-yard TD.
• 218 kickoff-return yards on 8 returns, averaging 27.25 yards per return.
• 246 all-purpose yards, or 35.1 per game.
• 1 forced fumble

We need to appreciate the good things he does for us.

• Dijon Lee - 5
  • 3 DPI, 1 unnecessary roughness, 1 personal foul
• Red Morgan - 2
  • 1 targeting, 1 offsides
• Dre Kirkpatrick - 1
  • DPI
• Zabien Brown - 1
  • DPI
• Bray Hubbard - 1
  • Delay of game
• Chuck McDonald - 1
  • Offsides
• Yhonzae Pierre - 1
  • Offsides
• Xavier Griffin
  • Personal foul
• Isaia Faga - 1
  • Holding (on a run play)
• London Simmons - 1
  • Holding (on a run play)
• Jireh Edwards - 1
  • Holding
• Caleb Woodson - 1
  • Holding

Dijon Lee is the only defender with more than 2 defensive penalties this season. Going into the game yesterday, he was the only defender with more than 1 penalty (while adding 2 more).

In coverage, he has 3 DPI calls; only two other players have 1. No other players have more than 1 DPI + holding. For unnecessary roughness and personal fouls, Dijon has 2; only one other play has even 1.

At least he's one of four players with 2 interceptions, both of which went for touchdowns.
