Use this thread to discuss whatever you've been playing lately (old or new, AAA or indie). Don't just list the names of games as your entire post, make sure to elaborate with your thoughts on the games.
Use spoiler tags if you're posting anything about a game's plot that might significantly hurt the experience of others that haven't played the game yet (no matter how old or new the game is).

Hello everyone!
I've always wanted to play a house flipping game that focuses more on the business side of things rather than just decoration and interior design. But I couldn't really find one that scratched that itch, especially not with an isometric view, which I've always preferred over first-person.
The game takes heavy inspiration from house flipping TV shows, so all the expected drama is here: from unexpected mold damage and incompetent contractors to picky buyers.
So here I am again, building my own dream game and hoping that maybe some of you will appreciate it too. :)
Flip Biz Tycoon is planned for early 2027, and the Steam page is now live.
If you have any questions about the game, I'll be here to answer.
Cheers,
Tim
AI Disclosure: The game does not use generative AI.

LEIKKAUS ("The Cut" in Finnish) is a horror game where all you are trying to do is collect your student benefit. Living in a dystopian world might not be easy, but at least something is coming your way. Or⦠is it her? Little did you know, your benefit is not the only thing about to be cut!

Hi, Iām Jin, the solo developer of Demon Egg.
You use cards to summon an army and towers that fights automatically to protect the demon egg. While enemies attack, you collect resources and decide what to summon or upgrade.
The goal isnāt just to survive. You need to save enough resources to hatch the egg and win the run. Spending more on your army helps keep it alive, but also means waiting longer before you can hatch it.
Players gave me feedback during the demo, and Iāve been making changes based on it. The full game is now available on Steam.

Run your own restaurant as a fluffy animal chef: cat, fox, raccoon and more.
Fish for fresh ingredients, cook orders in timing-based mini-games, and serve customers before they scatter.
Expand with greenhouses and aquariums, take on quests, and explore an open-world city at night.
Play solo or with up to 3 friends in online co-op. Out now on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3024130/Pao_Pao/

Hi everybody! Iām Jerzy from Clumsy Bear Studio, and after two and a half years of development weāve finally launched our game, Hungry Horrors.
Hungry Horrors is a deckbuilding adventure through British and Irish folklore, cuisine and mythology, where you donāt fight monsters, you feed them. You play a spoilt princess who has no interest in being part of any adventure, but unfortunately your kingdom is swarmed by ravenous monsters. Every card played is a meal served, and each encounter is about keeping a Horror fed before it reaches you and feeds on you instead.
The game left Early Access and launched in full on Steam yesterday. Weāre a self-funded, self-published team of two, and itās built entirely in Godot with all the art hand-pixelled in Aseprite.

The game launched on 13 Oct, but I was on posting cooldown so only now allowed to post about it. But perfect for Halloween week.
