Why do I need to press “send” just to search, even within a subreddit. It’s so inefficient. Also I used to be able to access comments of a video by simply scrolling down, but now it SCROLLS TO THE NEXT VIDEO.

Anyways this will be my last post before deleting Reddit because I can’t do this anymore.

Hello! I've run into some issues with my main account I have never seen before and sent two requests under "can't access my account" and "password issues" in Reddit support forms, but that was about 4 weeks ago and I have not heard back.
What can I expect if they do get back, especially for login issues

I feel so sad seeing the 1/1000, I'll never catch up now , is there any way to recover

I accidentally followed another user, apparently (it's in my "my subreddits" list), and can't figure out how to unfollow them.

I use old-reddit exclusively, and when I do a search on how to unfollow someone, the "unfollow" button that I'm supposed to be seeing isn't there. I assume if I can "follow" someone in old-reddit, I can also unfollow them?

Is this some new kind of restriction for specific accounts? I don't remember doing anything wrong to deserve this, but I am so frustrated with this and feeling betrayed. I can't find any official explanation for this, and don't know when it will be fixed, should I just createa new account?

Got an email in the middle of the night that 2FA was enabled on my long term Reddit account. I was able to reset the password but still wasn’t able to gain access because of the 2FA. I already submitted the form on Reddit’s website to make them aware and see if they could help.

Has anyone else gone through this? How long does it normally take to get a resolution and/or a response?

I am the owner of u/ChipsAhoy21 (May 2015, verified email). I wanted to put the timeline in one place in case a moderator or admin can take a look. I already went through password reset. That part is not the question.

On Friday 23 Oct, from about 10:12 AM to 6:10 PM PT (17:11 UTC through 01:10 UTC on the 24th), someone used a stolen session on this account. They put up 319 spam posts and 11 comments from 45.134.92.34. That IP has never shown up in my Reddit login history. My password still worked, which is how I got back in.

Once I was in, I deleted all of that spam, hid the chat threads from that window, and left the NSFW communities they used. I also filed Help Center tickets for the compromise and to have the NSFW tag taken off the profile.

This afternoon (26 Oct) I was signed out of every device. Login says the password is wrong. I get the reset email, I set a new password, and that password is still rejected. I have tried the newest link, typing it by hand, and signing in with the username rather than the email.

The public profile is still there, so this does not look like a . I just cannot log in.

If someone on staff can lift whatever lock is on u/ChipsAhoy21 and restore login to the email already on the account, I would really appreciate it. Happy to send the IP, timestamps, and ticket details in modmail.

I’ve had this Reddit account now for I believe nearly 3 months. But surely at least 2. Why does my profile still show only 1 month of age?

I lost my old account and so I made this one. It’s not really a big deal, but every time I make a comment or post, people start accusing me of being a bot because of my account age. It’s hella annoying. Anyways thanks for your help with this

someone made an account that impersonated mine (they user the same pfp and put 1 after my username to create an account) and phished another user, i got in contact with the person that got phished and they sent me an email of reddit support saying that the account user must get in contact with them in 12 hours but i didnt get any email from reddit, should i email them? (the guy got his account back but they reported me because they thought that was my account)

Curious:

Why is it that in some threads — you see the normal obligatory one vote that you automatically get just for posting something (along with all the other votes that are there as well). And then all the votes (negative and/or positive) next to everybody that replied.

But then there are other threads where there is no obligatory first vote for the original poster…. And there’s no votes for any of the replies below either. It just says: VOTE with the up and down arrow on either side…?

It’s not because somebody was downvoted because in that case it would’ve had a 0 next to it.

It seems to happen randomly and I can’t figure out why. At first I thought that voting was turned off for that specific thread but eventually if I go back to it, everything comes back. Is that a glitch?

I don't want people to be able to see my comments if they have blocked me. How can I block them? Clicking "block user" in the message notification does not work - it pretends to work but doesn't actually block.

Why are my comments /postings always needing moderator approval, but never get posted? I never see communication about whether my posting is approved or not.

On the app, when I tap my follower count to see who they are, I get a blank list like this.

I cant post on Reddit I have sufficient Karma 3.4k+ and any subs I try to create a post on, the post button is greyed out.

For the past few days, the only way I can clear items from my "unread" list ( https://www.reddit.com/message/unread/ ) is if I click on "context" next to each item while using a desktop browser.

They won't clear if I click it in safari.

Im here for more than 11 months on this app and I still haven't figured out how this app works. Can someone please tell me why am I seeing the same posts over and over again. I want to watch new content too.

My account has had some problems which support did not answer. Biggest is said in above. When I try to post or comment it goes through with no problem but it always gets 0 views let alone upvote\downvotes.
2nd problem is that in profile
picture is blank even though I have an avatar set which shows when I go to my
profile settings.

There are no notifications about any permanent diciplinary actions taken against me so I don't think it's that. Tickets was useless and unanswered. Any advice is appreciaed.

I got a pop-up in the app, asking for my birthday I think, and I quickly dismissed it. Then I found out that it was asking for my birthday. I am older than 18, but also I am not 55 years old, as it now says on my account, and the option to change the date of birth is greyed out.

I don't want to use the stupid Persona age verification.

My Reddit account was compromised in September. After I regained control, I opened a ticket through Reddit Help with the details.

The only reply so far came from a no-reply address, asking me to answer with keywords like "NOT MY ACCOUNT" or "NO PASSWORD RESET EMAIL". None of them fit my situation, and several weeks later I still haven't heard from a person.

**Has anyone managed to get a hacked-account ticket looked at by a human? Is there a way to get a ticket escalated or reopened?**

so I've been having a problem with logging into my account and reddit hasn't been responding to any of my emails in the past 4 months, i tried explaining the problem in detail, but my post was automatically deleted.

My account got "locked for security precautions" and I unlocked it by changing the password. Now I can post and comment, but I can't send DMs, it says "Unable to send message. Try again". Sometimes a red message appears in the upper part of the screen saying "Server error" or something similar. Is this a bug? How can I fix this?

I haven’t used Reddit in nearly a decade, so bear with me.

I’ve been trying to set a profile picture since I don’t like the default ones, but it keeps going off-center for some reason. I’ve tried multiple fixes and the only thing they do is go in different directions.

Is there a way to fix this or at least use a template that makes the off-centre feeling less obvious? Because my Snoo wont stop leaning to the left.
