In about 35 minutes I will have an FLPad delivered. I did have an FLKey 49 mk1 but, three months out of warrantee, it has gone tits up. I have a generic MIDI keyboard as well but, since it is my birthday at the end of the month, I hope to get enough money together to *maybe* afford an FLkey 2. Is anybody working with both of these? When paired, do the give a good UX? I like the idea of a better-quality playing surface, and I would like to be able to adjust plugin parameters without having to reach for a mouse, but an FLKey 2 is pretty pricy! Does anyone specifically like this setup is worth it, or think it is not worth it?

Do I create my own presets? Like autotune, reverb and stuff like that on my own or just buy a ready to use preset. And which is which is better?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some kind of database or site where I can easily download vocals for free that isn’t Splice. I’d rather use a free alternative. For reference I produce trance/happy hardcore type tracks and I’d love to get some vocals similar to ones used on the clubland/uk hardcore classics from fairly niche vocalists. I don’t want to keep using acapellas of already established songs that are easily recognisable.
Is there anywhere good to look?

Hey guys, I’ve been producing for about 2–3 months. My melodies are improving, but I really struggle with drums.

I’m inspired by artists like 2hollis, Che, and Lucy Bedroque, but most tutorials just teach patterns to copy rather than explaining rhythm.

I wanna understand how to build drum rhythms from scratch, how to make them complement my melodies, and eventually be able to listen to a song and understand why the drums work.

How did you guys actually learn this? Any advice or resources?

at the moment i’m on trial version and just getting random loops online and adding kicks hi hats snares and 808s so does anyone have any recommendations on how to learn more and improve

hi. we're afugazi, a small plug-in team.

we used to make our 808 subs wide the clunky way: a convolution reverb with an l/r impulse file on the 808. it worked, but it was a hassle every time. so we built a plug-in that does it in one step, and we're giving it away.

it's called stereo sub. put it on the 808 and the sub goes stereo. the right side runs 90 degrees behind the left, so nothing cancels when a phone or a club plays it in mono. it's about 3 db quieter there, never gone.

Can anyone help with this? I’ve been going around in circles with this for way too long. I have a bunch of .wav samples that Cubasis 3 on Android allows you to import with ease, but FL Studio Mobile won’t do the same in the ‘my files’ section.

FL studio mobile for Android has an import samples option, but it won’t load a directory in the app that I can access via files. The FL Studio samples folder is in a data app folder that - if you try to access - android blocks you from importing files into it or editing it in any way.

So how the heck do you get external samples into this app?

if your whole purpose for a PC is solely for music production, is GT710 GPU even enough for FL Studio usage. I know RAM and CPU matter more but since my Ryzen 5500 doesn't have a igpu, will GT710 be a solid option since it's hella cheap and it's purpose is to just display image and install windows 11

Hi, ich habe mir heute das oben beschriebene template herunter geladen. Die Benutzung sollte ja kein Problem sein, da ich das waves ultimate Abo besitze und das template ja ausschließlich mit diesem Arbeitet (zumindest die waves only version auf die ich mich beziehe). Wenn ich dieses nun öffne bekomme ich in Fl Studio folgendes Popup welches ich nicht umgehen kann, außer ich kaufe mir eine Lizenz für antares.

(Mit klicken auf "Quit" öffnet sich das Fenster erneut)

Was kann ich tun um diese Anzeige zu umgehen? Dann könnte ich in den presets antares mit Waves tunes oder ähnlichem ersetzen.

Ich hoffe das mir jemand helfen kann, da ansonsten das template unbrauchbar ist.
