This mustang has been sitting in the same spot in stillings garage for years. While not as visible in the photos it has the classic abandoned car dust build up all over it, peoples finger writing on the windows (political references also give an idea of how long the dust has already been built up). The tag expired in 2020, so I am assuming it’s been there since around that time.
Anyone know the background story?

Timeleft sent me multiple confirmations and reminders saying my seat was saved and that I’d receive the location. Then, the morning of dinner, they put me 4th on a WAITLIST and told me to wait until 4 hours before dinner for an answer.
Why confirm my seat if you can’t accommodate me. It’s rude and inconsiderate of my time. Terrible user experience. Would not recommend.
I’m 41, Asian Female. If you don’t have the numbers, don’t lead me on and confirm my seat and send me multiple reminders to hype me up.

I've been feeling this for years but for some reason tonight is the night I'm fed up. The commuter rails in Boston should be at least somewhat informed by what's happening at The Garden. It's the biggest venue in the city and the fact that the trains run nowhere near the end of the events at the garden ( or Fenway for that matter) is inexcusable. If I want to take the train to see a Celtics game from any town on the Framingham/Worcester line I need to get out of work at least an hour early. Then, to get home from a game(Celtics or Bruins) before 1am on a weeknight, I need to leave a quarter or a period before the end of the game. This new schedule since COVID is basically useless. There is barely anyone on the early or late train. When there used to be an 11:06 train it was packed after every game at The Garden. It seems now like they have twice the trains for half the ridership. Is it just me? Is it just this line?

I took the Green Line from Gillman to Haymarket, strolled the North End, then crossed over to the Public Garden and ended at Charles/MGH.

Officials at the MBTA have approved plans to purchase 10 diesel-electric locomotives and 10 battery-electric locomotives, capping off a contentious procurement process in which transit advocates questioned the agency’s long-term electrification goals.
The MBTA Board of Directors voted Thursday to authorize General Manager Phil Eng to secure the trains and other equipment as part of its contract with Siemens, at a price tag of about $310.4 million.

Green Line: Due to signal modernization work there will be no service between North Station & Babcock St (B), Kenmore (C+D), & Heath St (E) Oct 31 - Nov 1.
Use buses for service to Copley/Back Bay. Use Orange Line between Back Bay & North Station.

I made my life here!! Im super thankful of what this city has given to me. It’s still probably the best city to live in if you don’t desire to have kids.
But it just seems like an area for young kids, people who live with their parents, dinks, and very rich foreigners who work in tech.
I have been extremely creative in order to save money and find affordable housing/living but it is EXHAUSTING!!! I met the girl and in order to progress our life I feel like we have to move and I’m crushed. We often feel like we cannot find a solid group of friends that have ambitions to get married, live healthy lifestyles, and really want to progress as a couple. I think it must be the nature of how hard it is to live that life given the circumstances of living here, there probably are tons of people like that here but they probably left too.
Anyone else going through this?

As my first autumn in New England, I did the whole; “I should drive to New Hampshire to see the leaves!”
And yet all I had to do was walk my neighborhood cemetery for the better experience.

I’m a personal trainer and have been thinking about putting together a small group of 4 women who want to get stronger, tone up, and work out in a comfortable environment. It would be different from a typical group fitness class since the workouts would be more personalized to each person’s goals and fitness level.
Just curious if this is something women in Boston would actually be interested in!

Hi all, my insurance makes things very difficult but I won't ask you to solve that for me.
That said, I have had more than a couple experiences now where therapist and psychiatrist have either just not seemed to understand LGBTQ+ issues ("its MA, discrimination doesn't exist!) Or have outright said offensive things to me during appointments.
This has really clouded their ability to help me because they are either way to dismissive or just plain create a hostile environment.
Any recommendations? Or recommendations for how to search? My search issues relate to many checking this box on something like Psychology Today for the good feelings without meaning it at all.
Specifically ADHD/maybe depression depending on how resolving the first issue goes.
Thanks!

Join me and my fellow revs fans as we take the train down to Gillette to see your New England Revolution take on some shitty geographically challenged team.
We meet up in the car closest to the engine, top floor, and we try to get the tables, as that is more leg room and we can plug stuff in. I will be taking the 4:05 train from south station.
