Timeleft sent me multiple confirmations and reminders saying my seat was saved and that I’d receive the location. Then, the morning of dinner, they put me 4th on a WAITLIST and told me to wait until 4 hours before dinner for an answer.
Why confirm my seat if you can’t accommodate me. It’s rude and inconsiderate of my time. Terrible user experience. Would not recommend.
I’m 41, Asian Female. If you don’t have the numbers, don’t lead me on and confirm my seat and send me multiple reminders to hype me up.
Go!! Right now!! She is glorious!!

This mustang has been sitting in the same spot in stillings garage for years. While not as visible in the photos it has the classic abandoned car dust build up all over it, peoples finger writing on the windows (political references also give an idea of how long the dust has already been built up). The tag expired in 2020, so I am assuming it’s been there since around that time.
Anyone know the background story?

I've been feeling this for years but for some reason tonight is the night I'm fed up. The commuter rails in Boston should be at least somewhat informed by what's happening at The Garden. It's the biggest venue in the city and the fact that the trains run nowhere near the end of the events at the garden ( or Fenway for that matter) is inexcusable. If I want to take the train to see a Celtics game from any town on the Framingham/Worcester line I need to get out of work at least an hour early. Then, to get home from a game(Celtics or Bruins) before 1am on a weeknight, I need to leave a quarter or a period before the end of the game. This new schedule since COVID is basically useless. There is barely anyone on the early or late train. When there used to be an 11:06 train it was packed after every game at The Garden. It seems now like they have twice the trains for half the ridership. Is it just me? Is it just this line?

Edit: Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all of these responses! We’ll be reaching out to the airline in advance.
She’s open to a wheelchair and has used it before while traveling with family, I just don’t know how comfortable she is being completely handed over to airline staff and waiting “by herself”, especially if she was hoping we could go with her. (she has an iron will and doesn’t super enjoy asking strangers for help, which can cut both ways lol) Glad to know there are gate options!

Hey! So, my parents are driving across country to visit my sibling this winter, and my grandma (85 years old and pretty mobile, but also…85) was thinking of flying out to visit while they’re all together. As the East Coast Child™️ of the family, literally any other year I would happily fly out with her, but I’ll be like 25 weeks pregnant and according to my OB it’s on the edge of the “probably shouldn’t fly” stretch.
My grandma gets very flustered at the logistics of parking, security, check in, etc and Logan is a lot of walking and waiting by yourself, but once she’s on the plane she’s totally fine. Would airline employees generally be okay to give me (and potentially my husband) a gate pass to go with her and hang out with her until she’s literally on the plane? I do travel a lot and have global entry/TSA precheck so if nothing else I have a clean record lol
Not sure if it’s a gamble and if they’d end up sticking her in a wheelchair with an airline employee instead, which tbh would be a worst case scenario for her. Anyway any insight would be appreciate, thanks!

Hi folks,
Two south Asians with a middle school kid moving to your lovely city in time for the 2027-28 school year! We intend to put them in BPS schools and would to hear from parents of a similar background how their experience has been. We are originally from the San Jose so our schools are largely South and East Asian kids, and our children have always felt like they belonged. How is the experience here? Do we get to choose a school? Is one assigned? Anything to know? Our rental budget is 3500-4000 for a 2-3 bedroom and we may be buying a couple of years after. Should we target any specific neighborhoods?
Thank you!

I took the Green Line from Gillman to Haymarket, strolled the North End, then crossed over to the Public Garden and ended at Charles/MGH.

I’m from out of town and traveling to Boston the week of Thanksgiving. I’m looking for a family portrait photographer. I’ve searched instagram and sent a few inquiries, but looking for some more. Does anyone have any recommendations and typically what can I expect to spend? It would be a group of 12 of us, so we’d need an hour.

Hello All!
We are visiting later this week and after doing research we decided to just stick to Public transit for our trip. However we will still have our car (driving from Delaware) and found a parking garage across our hotel. It says "no in and out privileges". I've never used garages like this before. I know this might be a silly question but will we still have access to our car to grab our stuff during the trip? We are arriving around 1 pm and hotel checking isn't until 4pm so we were going to park, go explore and come back to grab our items to check in. We will have food and drinks and I also didn't want to grab everything at once (grab stuff as we run out)
Our parking is 1 DEVONSHIRE PLACE GARAGE

Officials at the MBTA have approved plans to purchase 10 diesel-electric locomotives and 10 battery-electric locomotives, capping off a contentious procurement process in which transit advocates questioned the agency’s long-term electrification goals.
The MBTA Board of Directors voted Thursday to authorize General Manager Phil Eng to secure the trains and other equipment as part of its contract with Siemens, at a price tag of about $310.4 million.

Are there ANY accounts that do regular posts on the duckling statues in the Public Garden? I'm a Boston native living out of state, and I need my duckling cuteness fix. Yet I cannot find anyone who covers this pressing topic. I've checked countless social media sites (many that used to post regular duckling pics), as well as the Friends of the Public Garden pages, and no dice. How's a girl to get her home town costume updates?

I want to make some hot sauce. My market basket has had them once or twice but nothing predictable. North of Boston preferred (I'm on the North Shore). Thanks.
