So you see from the image here there are two game pass tiles and a third gamepass by the search. There is also a giant Store tile even though there is a store button up top by the library button. If I scroll down a row I am then bombarded by a giant 6 tile/2row modern warfare 4 ad (which doesn’t even run on Xbox one) then another row of store content, then another row of store content, and then finally my groups, and games which I have intentionally added to home. Hoping to actually see them on the Home Screen. How do I either remove all the store tiles and ads or move my groups and games above them?

Edit: Going to mark this as solved. based on below responses it seems Xbox considers this a feature and there is no way to remove the spam.

It was working one day and stopped the other, there were some pins inside bent that I assume were importsnt but broke off when I tried inspecting them. Just wanted to confirm the issue

I'd been thinking about a new gamertag for days and at last today decided to go for it.

On the change page, I checked my candidates and saw the automatic suffixation working on them except for one, which didn't trigger the system attaching any number with # sign. So I went for it and paid.

But when the new gamertag was actually applied, it had the ID number attached. I searched the xbox site for refund or something but in vain. They put an AI chatbot or something so I talked to it and it kept spitting their blind policy like a headshot scarecrow without a solution. The only window I could find to talk to them real persons through was a feedback button for the talk I'd just had with the chatbot, so I told them I would cancel the subscription and then sell my xbox away, the first of which is done for now.

So, for context, my disc drive hasn't worked for roughly a few years now and it has been a bit of a pain because of it, since I can't run any of my disc games. My running theory is that I fried it, or something, because I hadn't cleaned it until it stopped reading discs, mostly because I didn't know I needed too. I've opened it up to take a look inside, though I don't really see any damage to the hardware inside. I don't really know what to do to fix it, but to see about replacing the disc drive as a whole and hoping that, that solves the strange problem plaguing the disc drive. The outside of the disc drive has a sorta burn mark of sorts on it, if that says anything. Any hue, is it possible for one to replace the disc drive, or would this cause problems for the console? Any help is greatly appreciated and I wish those who take the time to read all this, a wonderful day/night.

My Xbox has been turning off by itself and doing this since I received it back from being repaired.i woke up one morning and after three months of buying it from wal mart it wouldn’t turn on so I used my one year warranty with Microsoft and this is how they sent it back what should I do?

We just upgraded from the one to the series x, we own Witcher 3 Complete edition as a digital game on the Xbox one, which usually means it can be played on the series x.
Under recently played games, it shows Witcher 3 remastered on the Xbox one, which is strange because we hadn’t bought that.
Why is an owned game not appearing on our new console? Even in the store no complete edition pops up.

I recently had some artwork done for a character that I wanted to set as my profile picture on Xbox. Keep in mind this picture is my profile picture on everything else but here on Reddit where I haven't had the chance to update it yet. I paid good money to have this artwork done so that way I could use it everywhere. The only place that seems to have a problem is Xbox. I have now tried to upload it twice the first time. It was the full image and I got a suspension for it so I thought okay. They clearly want me to crop out certain things in the image so I crop it to just show the head and shoulders. That's it. That's all for the character and I get another suspension saying this is against xbox's code of conduct. In what world is the image that I linked against xbox's code of conduct? I have been with Xbox for years and never once had a problem with the gamer pic until now

I bought a physical copy of FH6 when it came out and recently switched to pc and am selling my Xbox. Is there any way to be able to play my physical copy on pc? From what I’ve found it looks like it’s possible on some games but not Forza.

I have a series s 512Gb and a 512Gb expansion card (820Gb total usable) I'm tired of running out of storage. I've been thinking about selling the series s and buying a series x. The s sells for around $300 - $350 locally. I've also been looking at the 2Tb galaxy model. I'm just curious what you all think is my best option?

Looking for a 2.4 GHz wireless air mouse with keyboard or a FLIRC IR Receiver to use for media on Xbox one. I think I'd prefer 2.4 GHz since IR requires line of sight, but I like how FLIRC can be programmed with keyboard binds. Since Bluetooth does work on Xbox, 2.4 GHz seems like the best option, currently I just use a keyboard for media, but I would like to use something smaller like a "tv" remote. Has anyone used a 2.4 GHz wireless air mouse with keyboard on xbox for media and liked it. I ideally wanted one I could program the buttons to keyboard binds, since some media players do use different keys for functions (for example, one media player would use space for play/pause, while another use enter key for play/pause). So a generic play/pause button may not work with different media players, additionally I want other more niche button functions like f for fullscreen, something likely not found on average media remotes.

I’ve had a series x for about 5 years and for the within the past year it started crashing every match of Helldivers 2. Just got worse and worse sometimes I would crash just spectating or multiple times in the same game. I took off the back cover and blew out the dust and as a last resort reset it to factory settings. I’ve also tried managing storage and blasting a house fan on the back. Microsoft says take it to a shop (uBreakiFix) but they would take it for 4+ weeks for a “total tear down.” I seem to be the only one out of my friends that has a problem this severe. Am I just out of luck? I’ve been on Xbox for 15 years never had it this bad.

I have a black Xbox One and I had i problem with the blu ray lens and had someone help me take it apart and idk know if one of us put it back together too fast and forgot to plug something in or did something to the WiFi card but it refused to connect to the WiFi and updated, what do you think we could’ve have done on accident that’s disconnected?

My Series X has been having problems running both games without shutting off entirely, it deals completely fine with FC 27 and the new CoD MW4. I’m trying to figure out whether it is a hardware issue or the game is just extremely hard to run.

I’ve had my Xbox Series S for about 3 years and just recently (about a month ago) it’s started having really bad ping spikes for several minutes at a time. My ping has never been amazing, but I’ve learned to deal with the 50 or so ms it usually gives me. However, 150-200 on competitive shooters like Valorant is just unplayable, and I don’t know what to do about it anymore. I’ve tried checking NAT, I’ve power cycled, I’ve changed every network setting on my console and nothing works. If this is some known bug that’s just going around right now or if there’s any sort of fix I just haven’t seen yet, I NEED someone to tell me before I rip my hair out

I do not own gamepass so I have nothing for recurring billing. I get it from game sharing with my friend. But I still made him do it. Nothing

When I couldn’t do the recurring billing so I changed my gamer pic as I read that could possibly help.

I asked my friend and he also cannot sign in through XSX backwards compatible games.

I swear I’ve tried everything: ethernet, wireless, unplugging and restarting, advanced settings, idk. There will be like a two day span where games are playable (like my latency is 60ms) but then I’ll run into a two-three week period where it’s untouchable (700ms). I changed quite literally nothing about my setup so I’m wondering what caused this sudden change.
