That made me really happy. No matter what happens, or who people voted for, I’m happy that more young people are getting involved in politics. It’s important to make your voices heard!!!

Planning on taking WRC 2 and Intro to visual arts , lowkey all of the teachers for intro to visual arts are not on rate my profesor so does anyone know how Kathryn McCarthy or Hannah price are?

As a transfer student in the college of business i needed to complete my career campus/suitable point AND be enrolled into BU-1010

This class was to start on the 19th and I have yet to see anything uploaded onto the course. No syllabus or anything.

Im not sure who to reach out to besides my advisor.

I do need to complete this course in order to complete a requisite on my degree plan

Has anyone completed this class or dealt with something similar?

hi guys so i’ve come here to decide what professor i should choose for my postcolonial decolonial literature and theory class im taking next semester. the ratemyprofessor review are kind of conflicting so i thought asking those who’ve already taken the class and maybe have had the professors before. my two options are Alia Afzal (in-person, asynchronous on friday, two time slots available) and Annette Angela Portillo (online only)

if you’ve had any experience w either of these professors pls lmk!! thank you in advance <3

Recommendations for fun events/things to do around here in San Antonio or nearby ? My friend and I are planning a hangout Thursday and we are both unsure of what is open that day.

So as the title says, I might just be screwed... I didn't get my shit together in time and I just signed up for sona, and then I was late to the study I signed up for by like 2 mins because I couldnt find the room (which is fully my fault for not planning ahead to give myself more time) I guess I'm just wondering if theres any chance Ill be able to get the 4 credits before the semester ends, or am I just sol? I messaged my professor but I'm not sure when he'll get back to me...

Space Center Houston is hosting a national space interest conference specifically geared towards students from November 4th-6th.

The website says there will be expert panels on a variety of fields from Artemis to in space manufacturing, and even topics such as space medicine and science fiction. There are also thousands of dollars in competition prizes for students, an exclusive career fair and networking events, and multi-day access to all of Space Center Houston.

It's being hosted by SEDS USA which is what the rocketry team is a part of so I think it's cool we have that connection. I definitely think everyone with an interest in space should check it out, even if you can't make all three days there's a lot of big names and you get a day trip to SCH.

Hi everyone! The UTSA Anime Kurabu club would like to talk a bit about what we have to offer and what you can do to participate in a friendly, very relaxed club. Anime Kurabu is a part of Alpha Kappa chapter of Mu Epsilon Kappa, and our purpose is to expose the UTSA community to the world of Japanese film, animation, and culture. Anime Kurabu seeks to create a social atmosphere for those who are looking for a place to interact and meet others. Our goal is to establish a friendly and social environment among those who share a common interest in anime. If you’re nervous about joining a club, Anime Kurabu is a great place to start. We are chronically online in our Discord and some members have begun to meet up in locations around campus outside of club hours.

Each week, the club hosts an in-person meeting in McKinney Humanities 2.01.10 every Friday from 2-5 p.m. We watch three episodes of anime, play around 3 games (mafia, heads up 7up, anime jeopardy, anime Family Feud, Werewolf, and so much more!), and on themed days, we sometimes have cosplay shows. We are currently partnered with Otaku Cafe and some other local businesses in San Antonio. If you become a paying member, you can get access to all the perks given by our partners. Other perks we have are getting a cord for graduating along with getting a club shirt!

We also have committees that meet up outside of club hours, some of these committees include the foodie committee that meets up every Saturday at an agreed time and restaurant and rates the food together. Another committee is the Gaming committee hosted on Saturdays as well where club members can vote on what games they would like to play together, it can be anything from Gartic Phone, to Amongus, to TF2, to Terraria. More subcommittees include our media hunters committee, tabletop gaming committee, and yuri/yaoi committee. At the moment, we are working on introducing more subcommittees that members would like to be a part of. If you’d like to just join online and see what it’s all about, check out our Instagram utsa_animekurabu

We also have a Minecraft server that runs 24/7 so do join our Discord and check out our Instagram to find out more about the official UTSA Anime Kurabu Minecraft server! We do not allow grief, cheats, but do have plenty of plugins for ease of use when navigating the server.

You can find our Discord on our Instagram, we are very active in the Discord!

Somewhere with free alc, and preferably close to campus. lmk

Hello all, last month I bought a parking pass for $103 and put it on my RowdyPay instead of paying it directly, hoping that it would be covered when financial aid disburses next semester. Can I still register for classes for the Spring semester, or will it prevent me?

Vote now before you can't.

The roadrunners will have a bye next week before taking on Florida Atlantic November 5th on the road. Could this win mean a potential CFP berth for the roadrunners? We shall see 👀

I wasn't hoping for the love era 60's but they are practically little Nazis. Is it because their parents had them circa 2003-08 when Bush and his "you better love America or you're a terrorist" were prominent or is it the recent Trump administration? these kids bruh. Followers not leaders for damn sure.

I'm trying to drop a second 8-week term class that has no holds or anything. The census date is Monday, it's Saturday now and my first batch of assignments (online course) is due tomorrow night. So if I don't do them and can't drop, then I'm pretty screwed but there is no option in registration to drop it on the action menu. Anybody seen that?

I do have another class this semester but for the first 8-weeks. So it shouldn't be a withdrawal.

I fear that I completely bombed my first semester here. I’m someone not good with change and as someone who already struggles with anxiety and depression, It just was at an all time high these past 2 months. I will take accountability that I could’ve put more effort but I just had no motivation to even like fight anymore and everyday was a struggle with my own mind to even drive to utsa or to go and do my work and I let it go. I’ve been medicated for about 5 weeks now and Realized how badly I fcked up and just wish there was a redo button. I think it’s too late to drop or withdraw but hopefully I can manage to pass with atleast a C.

Secular Student Alliance partnered with San Antonio DSA for neighborhood canvassing tomorrow to talk to San Antonio residents on the East Side about how they'll potentially be affected by the opening of the NE side ICE detention center and encourage them to vote for local representatives who are in opposition.

It's tomorrow, October 24 at 12pm in Copernicus Park. They're also holding a vigil for those that died in ICE detention on November 1 and a town hall on the 5th.

Hello, Im getting the new iphone duo tomorrow so I was wondering if the DUO thing would automatically recognize my new phone and send the codes to my new phone or if I had to prepare beforehand by doing something in the app

Hello everyone!

Recently I’ve been admitted to UTSA for Fall of 2027 as a Business Studies Accounting major and I’ve been very excited to be enrolled! I’ve been doing some research on the university but I decided coming here would also be very good :)

Does anyone have advice, whether it be housing, classes, or anything in general?

I look forward to it!

Edit: the bots are deleting comments so if anyone has advice feel free to dm me :)

Like, come on.

Hey all—I bought a PS5 a year ago but was gifted an Xbox right after. Haven't touched it since setting it up so I'm looking to sell and get a handheld. Looking for $400—will come with the controller and two games I haven't opened (RE: Requiem, Pragmata). I think I have another 1 or 2 other games shoved somewhere in storage as well, I'll have to check. Meet-up on campus during the day preferred!

*Edit: will provide CFI and partial serial via PM for proof of authenticity

Does anyone know why when I try to drop a course specifically HY 1963 its requiring me to also drop PHY 1971 the lab its giving me a prerequisite error that these classes must be dropped together. I emailed my advisor and she said I could drop one without the other but it still isn't working.
