Hi everyone! The UTSA Anime Kurabu club would like to talk a bit about what we have to offer and what you can do to participate in a friendly, very relaxed club. Anime Kurabu is a part of Alpha Kappa chapter of Mu Epsilon Kappa, and our purpose is to expose the UTSA community to the world of Japanese film, animation, and culture. Anime Kurabu seeks to create a social atmosphere for those who are looking for a place to interact and meet others. Our goal is to establish a friendly and social environment among those who share a common interest in anime. If you’re nervous about joining a club, Anime Kurabu is a great place to start. We are chronically online in our Discord and some members have begun to meet up in locations around campus outside of club hours.

Each week, the club hosts an in-person meeting in McKinney Humanities 2.01.10 every Friday from 2-5 p.m. We watch three episodes of anime, play around 3 games (mafia, heads up 7up, anime jeopardy, anime Family Feud, Werewolf, and so much more!), and on themed days, we sometimes have cosplay shows. We are currently partnered with Otaku Cafe and some other local businesses in San Antonio. If you become a paying member, you can get access to all the perks given by our partners. Other perks we have are getting a cord for graduating along with getting a club shirt!

We also have committees that meet up outside of club hours, some of these committees include the foodie committee that meets up every Saturday at an agreed time and restaurant and rates the food together. Another committee is the Gaming committee hosted on Saturdays as well where club members can vote on what games they would like to play together, it can be anything from Gartic Phone, to Amongus, to TF2, to Terraria. More subcommittees include our media hunters committee, tabletop gaming committee, and yuri/yaoi committee. At the moment, we are working on introducing more subcommittees that members would like to be a part of. If you’d like to just join online and see what it’s all about, check out our Instagram utsa_animekurabu

We also have a Minecraft server that runs 24/7 so do join our Discord and check out our Instagram to find out more about the official UTSA Anime Kurabu Minecraft server! We do not allow grief, cheats, but do have plenty of plugins for ease of use when navigating the server.

You can find our Discord on our Instagram, we are very active in the Discord!

Space Center Houston is hosting a national space interest conference specifically geared towards students from November 4th-6th.

The website says there will be expert panels on a variety of fields from Artemis to in space manufacturing, and even topics such as space medicine and science fiction. There are also thousands of dollars in competition prizes for students, an exclusive career fair and networking events, and multi-day access to all of Space Center Houston.

It's being hosted by SEDS USA which is what the rocketry team is a part of so I think it's cool we have that connection. I definitely think everyone with an interest in space should check it out, even if you can't make all three days there's a lot of big names and you get a day trip to SCH.

Hello all, last month I bought a parking pass for $103 and put it on my RowdyPay instead of paying it directly, hoping that it would be covered when financial aid disburses next semester. Can I still register for classes for the Spring semester, or will it prevent me?

So as the title says, I might just be screwed... I didn't get my shit together in time and I just signed up for sona, and then I was late to the study I signed up for by like 2 mins because I couldnt find the room (which is fully my fault for not planning ahead to give myself more time) I guess I'm just wondering if theres any chance Ill be able to get the 4 credits before the semester ends, or am I just sol? I messaged my professor but I'm not sure when he'll get back to me...
