Spam Shirt Ads
Hey folks, if you see a post about a shirt, even if you like the shirt or want the shirt, please don't engage. It's a bot trying to sell you junk. The problem is long lasting. We even used to ban the word shirt from being posted. Which we may have to go back to because of the third such posting this week...
Thanks!

Patrick Stewart performed this bizarre alphabetical cavalcade of compliments on set to Gene Roddenberry for his birthday. I edited and looped part of it so it seems like he's talking to me (my name is Bea). It always cheers me up to watch :)

Fan art Transporter room has broken down because of the Fixies, and now it’s teleporting random characters.
OC. Today I finished drawing this section in my huge animation project. Source: https://floor796.com/#t1r5,106,4
This project contains many references to Star Trek and specifically to TNG

This exchange is kind of hilarious out of context.

Locutus of Borg - Star Trek TNG Techno Track
Locutus of Borg
Techno track using samples of Picard as Locutus of Borg
Pretty basic song but I do love how the samples are incorporated.
I'll never get tired of Locutus of Borg's dialogue.
I don't have any information about this song though, I don't even recall how I came across it. The metadata showed that I retrieved the file in 2008 and that's all I can tell you.
I haven't been able to find this track online either. That's why I decided to upload and share it.
If you have heard it elsewhere or know who the artist is, please let me know. Otherwise enjoy the rave on the Borg Cube.

The Masterpiece Society
I’m watching this episode today, and just finished the scene where Troi confesses her relationship with Aaron Conor to Picard in the turbo lift.
I’m wondering how many people have been in that situation before, and can relate to it. Not the fact that she hooked up with him, but just being in a situation where you realize, “oh shit, I really did something I should not have done, and I have to tell this person about it, because this is the only ripcord on the shitty situation that I’ve created, and I’m going to feel like a complete idiot, and embarrassed, but this is the only way through.”
I have.
But, I’ve also been in that situation before and totally chickened out and not done the right thing. I think that this is one of Deanna’s best moments in the series.

Commander Riker aka Jonathan Frakes
has a special assignment: presenting his real-life wife, Genie Francis, with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys. Nearly 40 years of marriage and two television legends. Pretty sweet. ❤️🖖📺

Second most emotional episode
We might agree on the most emotional episode (The Inner Light), but I'm watching Yesterday's Enterprise right now, for the second time in the last month for some reason, and it's a seriously moving episode.
The scenes between Yar and Picard and Richard and Guinan are all just realistically heavy and heartbreaking. Kinda crushing.
Any other episodes come to mind that land like this?
