An ode to one of the most amazing things I have done. 5 days on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. I don't think these are the best photos but just wanted to share how beautiful some spots were on trail. Equally as amazing were all of the hosts who graciously accepted and hosted me e

Currently in Japan again for the third time in three years, and managed to travel to some new locations this time including Matsudo for the Matsudo Shrine Shinkō Festival, and Kamikochi.

Sharing this small collection of past and present snaps with you guys, hoping you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them :)

For anyone curious, you can find more of my work at brendananalog.com or on Instagram @negative_clarity

The only entrance to the Keep in Himeji Castle, Japan, c.1609 AD. Reinforced with steel, you cross that gate to find a 90º turn to the left and a similar gate right away. The castle entrance is protected by a maze of killing zones and narrow passes but was never put to the test.

Photos I found from my trip to visit my friend this past February. I miss it! Highlight of the day was the congregation of neighborhood aunts and uncles who let me take a photo of their dogs. There were about 10 of them.
