Has anyone taken CIS 4680 (Intro to Security) online through eMajor with FTA 4100 as a corequisite?
How was the workload and difficulty? Did FTA 4100 require additional assignments or exams? Just trying to decide between the online and in-person sections. Thanks!

Hey I’m a senior graduating next semester. My registration opens Wednesday. Yesterday I saw a hold for senior advising (I don’t remember what it was called but Ik it’s for seniors) I emailed my advisor about it but she didn’t reply and I think she’s out of office. Now that hold dissapeared but I didn’t do anything. Is there a chance it’ll reappear when my registration opens? I’m having anxiety abt that 😭 I think I may not be the only one having this problem?

Taking discrete math (MATH 2420) with Dr. Chen. I do all the homeworks and listen to the lectures and I still find it confusing. How are people finding this class easy on rmp? Any tips or suggestions please I need them 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'm applying for the perimeter college. I may have to go to Atlanta Technical College for a semester if that's the case. I know Calculus will transfer but don't know if something like java will.

Hey everyone! I’m a freshman in the 2nd semester at GSU in the Honors College, and I thought Honors College students could register for Spring 2027 classes today.

However, I still can’t register, and PAWS shows that my registration starts on November 2. I also don’t have any holds on my account.

Is it because I’m still a freshman? As far as I know, the freshmen in the 1st semester are the exception who can't register early because they gotta meet their advisor, but I am in my 2nd semester. I thought Honors College students could register earlier than other students, including freshmen.

Are any other Honors College freshmen experiencing the same thing, or does anyone know how this works?

Thanks!

it’s an elective for me!

Um so it says I have hold, but when I clicked that it shows I have no hold. Is this happening to anyone??

Hello all, I have been accepted to the mph program at GSU and I will be starting my program in spring. With that said, I am also looking to finish up some science prerequisites at perimeter campus because it’s near my house. Does anyone know if it’s possible to be a graduate student and also simultaneously take classes at perimeter campus? Or if anyone has done this before? Would be greatly appreciated

So I’m a transfer student (sophomore), and PAWS says I can register starting on the 28th, not the 26th. Does anyone know why that is? Is it because I’ve only taken 18 credits at GSU so far?

There’s a class I really need to take next semester, and I’m so worried it’ll fill up during those two days.

wondering for exams and quizzes since i need electives. also how’s the research part of it? (CPS3200)

I'm currently a pre-nursing student planning to apply to the ASN program for Fall 2027. I originally thought the program was full-time, but my advisor recently told me that some semesters are less than 12 credit hours.

I'm confused about how this works since I expected nursing school to have a full-time course load. My advisor suggested speaking with another department, but I wanted to hear from students actually in the program.

For current or former ASN students, did you take additional classes alongside your nursing courses if you needed to reach 12 credit hours, or did you just follow the program's recommended schedule?

Would yall recommend taking cis online or in person??

Hey has any international students recived an scholar-ship related to womenlead?

I know one requiriment is fasfa and i am contacting the program director regarding that. Just wanted to know so that i can see if I should take it this spring or next fall.

Thanks!

Hi! I am taking BIOL 2252 Lecture Online this spring 2027 semester (for perimeter) . On PAWS there are lots of classes available to register for with different professors. Can someone who has taken BIOL 2252 Lecture Online tell me who is the best professor? Who is easier and more managable work? Any advice would be appreciated!

I have to take this BIOL Lecture class online, so I would like to know who is best to take this class online? Thank you!

Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong sub to ask for help but I am struggling in my sociology dual enrollment with Savers-Sublett and was wondering if anyone had any advice or extra resources. The quizzes are really detailed and ask about statistics from the chapter (for example: what percent of people listen to podcasts). The thing is, the textbook mentions a lot of stats and the chapters are like over twenty pages so it’s frustrating to memorize each stat that the textbook mentions, and I just wanted to know if anyone has advice for the quizzes. Sorry if this was confusingly worded too.

Hey where can I find my date to register or can I just do it now?

I’m a sophomore marketing student and am rarely on campus as I’m a bit older.

Really curious if any business/marketing students are/know about any clubs internships or opportunities for students that want to jump start their careers?

Haven’t started classes for my major yet so haven’t really connected with anyone and don’t know what to look for.

I really want to do an internship this summer to gain experience and add things to my portfolio/resume

I’d also be down to working with a club or anything apart of our school

i've recently moved to the city and i'm curious about the gym on campus. i used to go to crunch but seeing as there is none in the city, i will probably start going to gsu's. i know that it's free to use for students but what is the policy about bringing guests? and what is the easiest parking situation? and last question for my girls- do you have any issues concerning safety? thanks so much

Hi guys, I’m a hs student who does dual enrollment at gsu. Next year I want to take calc 1 over the summer, calc 2 in the fall and calc 3 in the spring.

All of the classes would be online since I live pretty far away from gsu. I’m decent at math but I am worried about taking these courses online since Iv never taken one before.

If anyone who has done this particular sequence of classes online could give me some advice it would be super helpful!

Hey! Can someone give me recommendations on housing off campus or on campus housing.

Which are the good buildings and which are not?

At my current uni the students mainly know what building are actually worth the price and which ones are dumps.

I am disabled and im trying to figure out the best housing buildings. Ive applied for on campus and I have no idea if ill actually get it for january

I’m looking at options for a class, do y’all know what the two separate week outlines mean? Does that mean that the class is held on a different day/different time every other week? I’ve only ever had classes that met once a week or twice a week so this layout of two different weeks is confusing me. Thanks.

Student Center East has a recycling machine and it's been down this past week.

Who is responsible for maintaining that machine? I brought bags of aluminum cans and it's sad that I can't send them down the hatch to recycle them.

I found a GoPuff coupon link - use it to get a discount on your first order:

I needed coffee creamer and all the stores were closed. I was able to get creamer and energy drinks. GoPuff is new to this area and this coupon is a new account discount on a first order.
