Anyone else receive this spam text?

I mean.. it’s free pizza guys. Everyone knows the normies in Ohio love free pizza. What better way to get people to like someone with an otherwise punchable face than to offer them FREE PIZZA 🍕 in Powell.

Hello. I am trying to put together a Nathan Fielder costume. Thus, I need to buy a laptop harness. I cannot locate a laptop harness online that ships before 10/31. If anyone here has one to sell me or knows where I can buy one, I would be eternally grateful.

LGBTQ+ therapist offering online therapy in Ohio

Hey everyone, I’m Zac, a gay therapist here in Columbus. I run Gravity Wellness and offer online therapy for adults across Ohio.

A big part of my work is with LGBTQ+ folks, whether you’re working through coming out, dating and relationships, family issues, or just need somewhere to talk. You don’t have to be looking for therapy specifically about being LGBTQ+. I also work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and recovery.

My style is pretty conversational. We’ll talk about what’s going on, what you want to change, and how to get there.

If you’re interested, call or text 6146128270 or email [zac@gravitywellness.co](mailto:zac@gravitywellness.co). Happy to answer questions about availability, insurance, and cost.

NEWS Pickup truck on Hudson exit

Almost got absolutely destroyed by this pickup last night on I-71 S at Hudson. Seemingly missed their exit in my POV at the time. I requested ODOT footage and found this. (See video in comments) That other car definitely has prior beef with the offending truck 💀

I hope they didn’t hit anyone or anything else.

RIP the traffic signs

Is this your cat?

I’m turning here because I don’t know what to do. If you were driving an older White Chevy Malibu or a car similar to that and you were driving down Karl Rd at about 2:00PM this black cat came out of your car and was rolled by your tire. Please note** she was not inside of the car, I think she (or he) was in the wheel well or something. She looks well cared for but I’m worried she’s hurt and I don’t have a way to get her to a vet. I’m so sorry for that! I did put some food and water down for her and so have called a bunch of different shelters and humanes to see if they could pick her up and get to a vet. She has moved around in here but she’s not really gotten up and walked around. If you know who this cat belongs to or if this is your indoor/outdoor cat, or a neighbor’s cat, or if you work at a shelter and can pick her up and get her to a vet, please DM me here.

Edit #1.) I FINALLY heard back from one of the shelters. They will be here in the morning to get her! I have given her food, water, and a blanket. If I had the option to bring her in I would have already done so. In the meantime if anyone is or knows the owners let them know.

Edit #2.) I was able to coordinate with another Redditor and we are working together to make sure this Kitty gets taken care of. They picked her up and will keep her tonight and in the morning we are reaching out to the shelter together to make sure they do their part. Thank you to everyone who offered actual help for this sweet kitty and weren’t condescending towards others!! I appreciate y’all!

Anyone still going to see Dr. Apoorva Ramaswamy after all this?

LINK: "How Vivek Ramaswamy’s mom manipulated Alzheimer’s data and made her son rich"

Her husband has doubled down on his support of child rapists.

Her mother in law publishes deceitful medical studies, to the ultimate financial benefit of Dr. Ramaswamy.

I think these are damning for a physician's ethics. Would they impact your choice in doctor?

Is it just me or is "Ohio Power" changing definitions?

The new bill has a LOT of information on it, and a data nerd like me wants AEP/OPC* to give me my last 13 months of bills in this format so I can actually see where my cost increases in the last year have been.

But this one. It bugs me. Last month, AEP defined "Customer Charge" like this:

Customer Charge: The fixed monthly basic distribution charge to partially cover costs for billing, meter reading, service line maintenance and equipment.

And the new Ohio Power Company bill defines it this way:

Customer Charge The cost toensure the electric distribution grid functions regardless of the amount of energy you use.

AND also charges me a separate line item:

Gridsmart Rider The cost of installing advanced meters and modern grid technologies to improve service reliability.

AEP increased the "Customer Charge" from $10 to $13.50 - 35% - in the last year. Ostensibly for "meters and bills", at least partially, at that time, but it turns out there's been another $1.26 hidden in my "distribution charges" (another almost 10% of the new amount) to cover the smart meter. This, of course, is after they fired all the meter readers and continually push everyone to paperless billing.

*I'm really sad they didn't name it "Ohio Power & Energy" so the acronym could be "Ope".

REQUEST Shop recommendations for F-150 transmission service

• Upvotes

Have a 2023 F-150. Luke’s auto is typically where I take it, but they quoted me $1400 for a transmission drain and fill … I’m still not certain if the service advisor accidentally quoted the wrong thing or not, but it’s ludicrous.

Anyone have experience with a shop that will do it for a more reasonable amount? I know the service on these trucks can be kind of a pain, so I’m not expecting cheap cheap, but I’m certainly not spending $1400 on it either. TIA

REQUEST Best soul food restaurants in the area, please

Look, lemme be blunt: I am craving soul food. Grew up on it but have not had it properly in a long time.

I love exploring and eating around but I haven't found a soul food restaurant yet. I have Greek, Jamaican, Thai, etc on my roster but soul food? I need a recommendation, please.

Anything within twenty minutes of downtown cbus works. Just gimme your best recommendation. I'm open to ghost kitchens as well, I use doordash. Feel completely free to advertise your grandma's ghost kitchen here, if she has one lol. I want grandma cooking. Old soul food. The good shit

Post image

Interstate 270 N. in Gahanna on the east side a tractor trailer has flipped over if you’re coming up from the east side and trying to get past it or to Easton you want to stay to the left in the left two lanes.

If you’re trying to get the Easton, your best bet is to stay left and then get off at Morse Road and backtrack

Edit 3 left lanes are getting by
