We have noticed thousands of individual appeals by Gazans for financial support on social media platforms including r/BDS. We understand the immense suffering they are experiencing. Anyone who wishes to support such appeals are free to do so. However, we have no way to authenticate these appeals to ensure they are legitimate.
Reddit's filter labels many of these posts as spam. We do not approve any of these for posting to our sub, because doing so would flood the sub with them. The mods feel that donations to humanitarian aid NGOs provide widespread support to hundreds of thousands of Gazans, rather than the limited scope of supporting individuals or families.
Here are some of these NGOs and we urge you to support them:

"I am fundamentally opposed to participating in the Israeli Knesset elections; our Palestinian people should neither run as candidates nor cast a vote. This "parliament" embodies, on one hand, the abhorrent racism of Zionist ideology, and on the other, serves as a fig leaf concealing the true nature of the genocidal settler-colonial regime in historic Palestine.
The fundamental issue with working within an inherently illegitimate, racist system is that it conflates the "status quo" with what is actually "possible"—namely, the dismantling of the structures of the settler-colonial regime."
"On Palestinian participation in the elections of the genocidal Israeli parliament", an article by Haidar Eid on the Palestine Chronicle:

I know that most companies for laptops are on the boycott list, and secondhand is the more ethical choice for electronics, but I don't know where I should look to purchase a laptop. My laptop died and I need a new one for my classes and general use. I appreciate any suggestions! Thank you!

On the Guide to BDS Boycott, Google is a pressure target but not a boycott, and unlike with Amazon there is not even a recommendation to pursue alternatives to YouTube. My question is, why? I have been wondering this for a few days now, having stepped back from watching YouTube due to my discomfort with Google due to their participation in the genocide in Gaza and support for the Apartheid state perpetrating it.
For context, I am chronically ill, bedbound, struggle with social isolation, and YouTube is one of very, very few ways for me to interact with the world in any way approaching accessibility. I don't mean to focus my own difficulties, but illustrate why this is on my mind because it has been quite a large part of my life.
However, I'd rather be lonely than contribute to death and suffering in Palestine. I am not here to ask permission to enjoy YouTube, but to understand why this compromise seems to be silently encouraged.
Are there any who are privy to the philosophy or strategy behind this omission, or who have expertise in this sort of thing and can make an educated guess?

is it breaking bds boycott if i support an indie web show because one of the directors like disney and has been to disneyland, even though they have publicly denounced israel and partaken in boycotts and a fundraiser for Palestine and all of the crew are pro-palestine as well and are presumably being paid through the revenue generated by the show or is this too extensive? it’s a show that i know i wouldn’t be here without so i’m really scared,,, but at the same time it feels so selfish to feel that way. i really feel like i‘m still learning the extent i should be going to before it enters outright obsessive territory

Hey! My current sneakers are starting to fall apart so I need to search for some new sneakers. I don't need anything specific for any particular sport, just simple everyday sneakers for walking the dog, wearing with jeans etc... I usually stick with Vans Old Skools or Keds since they're simple. I have arthritis in my feet so I've liked Addidas and Pumas before for the comfort but I don't think they're BDS-friendly. I'm sure most of the major brands are on the BDS list. Does anyone know of any shoe/sneaker brands that don't support zionism? thanks
The Oslo Accords were, without a doubt, a mistake. They might have worked had the adversary possessed even an ounce of honor; yet, they have neither honor nor dignity. They do not even want the Abbas administration—a leadership that has eschewed all armed resistance in favor of a policy of purely passive diplomacy.
Isn’t Israel, in fact, a burden? Heaven only knows how many times certain European leaders have spoken more about the security of Israel than about the security of their own nations. Enough is enough! Israel is a state that lacks even the slightest shred of dignity or honor.

Preferably UK based brands if possible. It’s the only product that agrees with my skin but I know Blackrock is one of their investors
Thank you in advance if you have any suggestions 💚

I don't know if people are aware of this BDS-friendly boycott website, but I just wanted to give som love to Gaza.nu, it has become an important part of my shopping routine. Quick search and instant answer, no guessing or funneling money to zionist companies anymore. It allows me to dig deeper into ownerships and history if I want to, which puts everything in perspective. Truly and incredible database and piece of work that we need to make sure stays online at any cost. Whoever runs it, thank you and Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Buying Ben & Jerry’s is more than just enjoying a treat; it’s a way to support corporate courage. In 2021, the brand's independent board made the historic decision to stop selling its ice cream in occupied Palestinian territories, stating it was incompatible with their values. Despite heavy pressure and legal battles with their parent company, Unilever, the brand's leadership and its co-founders—Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield—have consistently stood up for human rights and corporate ethics. By choosing Ben & Jerry’s today, you are voting with your wallet, rewarding a company that refuses to compromise on its principles, and showing the world that consumers value justice over profit.
