Hello everyone,
There are certain tracks that I really love because of their mix—for example, "Butterfly" by Reveille and "Spleen" by Staind. I find that they have a "dirty" and "rough" mix, which adds more power and emotion to the music.
I figure that if I look into underground bands, I might be able to find a similar sound.
If you have any recommendations for underground bands that you enjoy, I’d be curious to check them out!
Thanks to everyone who shares their recommendations.

(I know this is not specifically nu metal but korn is preforming so yuh) I’m a teenager who loves music and has been to a lot of concerts. Most recently summer of 99 and beyond festival. Anyways me and my mom plan to go to ST next year as we have never gone. This will easily be the biggest festival I’ve ever been to. Im going Sunday and I’m literally so excited. I’m a little scared for Icp (even though they’re my favorite band) because I don’t know what to expect. I mean, I know they’re not one of the headliners but like still I’m so excited. Any advice from people who have been before or just been to a large one in General?

Nu-Metalcore is a modern fusion / crossover of Metalcore with groovy Nu-Metal style riffs and sometimes Pop refrains
Of course, this crossover is just as diverse and varied as the original Nu metal itself, which was already highly multifaceted.
Some bands and songs incorporate clear pop hooks, while other bands contain no pop choruses at all. Some bands are emotional and melodical, while others are just agressive angry
Slipknot, Chimaira and Dry Kill Logic can be considered as some of the first pioneers in the 2000's who combined more extreme hardcore elements with Nu metal groove. But of course, they aren't the only ones.
Some modern examples:
Although it is a little bit more agressive compared to the standard basic Nu metal (because of the Hardcore shouts)
What do guys think about Nu-Metalcore?
Do you know any other bands with a similar musical style?

I'm going to a Halloween party dressed up as the Juggernaut from Deadpool 2 specifically and I wanted to hear any suggestions for songs that fit the Juggernaut as a whole.

NOTE: I’m mainly referring to Ches and Mike here, although Emily and Mike would also definitely rank high.
anyways, other then Paul McCartney and John Lennon, and maybe Mike Love and Brian Wilson, I can’t see anyone that beats out Ches and Mike.

Hey r/numetal, just wanted to share this track called "Blame" from Snoak. It dropped last September 9 and has some heavy riffs and strong alt-metal/nu-metal vibes.
Curious to hear what you guys think of the mix and the overall sound!

Hi! My girlfriend and I started a channel about important and influential albums.
This time, it was System of a Down’s turn, and we started with a video about their debut album. We’ll cover their other albums later on.
All of our content is in Spanish. We talk about the band’s early days, iconic stories, and a bunch of interesting details about the album and its history.
We hope you enjoy it!
