made some procedural isometric water in Aseprite :)
wanted to share some little environments I've been generating in Aseprite :)
started with trees a while ago, then got into animated water, rivers, waterfalls and all that stuff. somehow ended up building separate generators for both haha
still experimenting with different styles and environments, got a pretty big update in the works too.
curious what you guys think of the isometric look!

My isometric desktop cat café game - Cat Caffeine 🐱
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Me and my friends are making Cat Caffeine, a game where you run a little cat café right on your desktop 🐱☕
You can decorate your café, hire cats, unlock upgrades, pet your cats (very important), and watch your little business grow while you work or do other stuff on your PC.
We're also adding an in-game phone where you can read reviews from your cat customers, complete decoration tasks to attract reviewers, and even use a Pomodoro timer to help you focus while working!
Basically, a little café full of cats keeping you company while you do your thing.

From one stretched image to an isometric continent: 11 months of my game's map
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is the map for Salt and Soil, a turn-based strategy game I'm making about one family on the American frontier, from 1607 to 1900.
It's built in LÖVE/LuaJIT. The terrain is a heightfield, while buildings and moving objects are sprites sharing its depth buffer.

Looking for testers for my cozy isometric game
Hey guys!
I need some help with beta testing and would appreciate any feedback about my game.
Emerji is a cozy builder puzzle game with tons of puzzle mechanics, item collections, decorations, weather effects, music, and animal friends. It’s heavily inspired by Garden Galaxy and Sokoban puzzles.
Feedback can be on difficulty/art direction/tutorials/new ideas or anything you can think of.

A walk through Meridian, from cosy lounges to something much stranger underground
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm making Meridian, an isometric multiplayer world where you can decorate your own room, meet other players and explore the building together.
I wanted the comfortable spaces and the older, stranger parts underneath them to feel like they belong to the same place. Here's a short walk through a few of them. The background characters in this clip are staged NPCs.
It's in beta on iPhone if you'd like to explore: https://testflight.apple.com/join/4sDEk5u4

A YouTuber played my game for the first time two days in a row and I got 100+ wishlists!
I've shared my game, Harmony Strike, here before, and I got so much support from you guys. So I wanted to come back and share something exciting that happened recently.
I'm still pretty busy getting the demo ready. There's a lot I'm fixing, changing, and adding, including some new mechanics.
Recently, I reached out to Broken's Playz and he actually played it! Then he came back and played it again the next day. And over those two days, my game got more than 100 wishlists on Steam. I really wasn't expecting that!
It was my first time watching someone else play a game I've been working on for so long, and it's honestly such a different feeling.
Both videos were really fun to watch, so if you have some time, definitely check them out!
First video: I Tried This New Party Based Bullet Heaven... It Is An Absolute Blast!! | Harmony Strike
There's still a lot I need to work on before releasing the free demo, but moments like this really make all the hard work feel worth it.
And of course, a huge thanks to Broken's Playz for taking the time to play my game!
If you want to check out the game;

Free isometric casino set
Ninth pack done, a casino floor. Free slice: roulette, blackjack, a row of slots, the cashier's cage, a prize wheel, a dice sculpture, plus walls and floor.
Priced according to my theory, which says good games should cost about 200 bucks. This one is free. The theory is having a rough week.

My Fallout-like game got a new trailer
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey
I recently created a new trailer for my game. It beautifully showcases the new HUD size, which is much more readable than the previous version. Additionally, the new version of the game has a Polish language version, and there are plans to add Italian or Russian. The game is slowly approaching its exit from Early Access.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4546490/Arkansas_2125/
The game is currently at a very good price of $4.99 (only now in Early Access)

Can't escape the digital world
I loved doing this drawing. Is it because it's mostly my favourite colour? Maybe.
I know I do it to myself, but sometimes I get so overwhelmed and tired of staring at screens and these lights around me. I wish I could throw my phone and computer away, but at the same time, I can't live without it. What a fun life.
Stoked about the background too (^.^)

Free isometric hospital OR and lab set
Eighth pack done: the other half of a hospital, an OR and a clinical lab. Free slice of it: operating table, anesthesia machine, blood analyzer, biohazard bin, a couple of lab props, plus walls and floor.
Same grid as the rest, and matched in scale to the original Hospital pack, so the two sit in one room without nudging anything.
I said a small hospital. It has an operating room now.
