Unanswered I need a subreddit where people can tell me where to buy something.

I want to buy poppers online for parties. Does anyone know where I should ask about this? It’s a legal product, but it might be a bit unusual or taboo.

Unanswered A subreddit for finding real artists who create work similar to AI art you found

Say you find an art piece you like, and later find out it was AI generated. This subreddit would help you find real artists you can follow that have a similar style or theme. On a deeper level, it might even act as a sleuth sub, tracking down which artists the AI copied from

Edit: Surprised by the poor feedback on this sub. Even if you liked AI, if you found an art style you liked, wouldn't you want to find real artists making more of it? Or to know the origin of where the AI is sourcing from? Or do people just not care about art?

Unanswered What subreddit would be best for finding a tarot reader I’m looking for from 2002?

I’m trying to find a woman named Donna who gave my husband a tarot reading in Astoria, Queens, around 2002.

They met at a coffee shop, and she recorded the reading on a cassette tape that she kept. The reading included detailed predictions about his future and his future relationship with me (11 years before we met).

We’re hoping to find her and ask whether she might still have the recording.

I only know her first name, the approximate location and year, and a general description of her appearance.

Which subreddits would be best for this? I’m planning to try local NYC/Queens communities and tarot or psychic communities, but I’d love suggestions for other places where someone might recognize her or remember her from that time.

Thanks!

Unanswered What's a sub for help on what I can do with my "like new" mattress so I can downsize?

• Upvotes

There was a flooding in the home while I was away a bit back at University and it absolutely ruined my old mattress, so we got a new one without much thought of size as we just got the size of the previous mattress I had, queen sized. But now I'd really like to downsize yet the bed has been used. It still pretty pristine, only 2 maybe 3 years old and has had mattress protector on it. So would really like to know my options and see if there is any sort of trade I could do or get for a better deal.

Waiting on OP for feeling resentful after my family turned on me and kicked me out over a heated argument?

I (17M) am posting here because I honestly don’t know anymore if I’m being manipulated into believing I deserved how I've been treated. Lately, things have been financially devastating for us, and we only managed to pay our rent thanks to my grandparents. Because of this, I feel incredibly small and guilty around them. Whenever I am at their house, I am constantly subjected to their snide remarks and passive-aggressive comments. They pick on me at every single opportunity because I am quiet and underweight. Recently, they even kicked me out of their house. I am crushed by the humiliation of being a financial burden, while simultaneously being broken by their constant backbiting and mockery.

The incident happened at my grandmother’s house. I didn’t go there by choice; my mother made me go. After everything happened, she was also the first one to blame me.

The argument with my father started verbally. He was screaming at me. Out of sheer panic and having a complete breakdown from the non-stop stress, I lost control, walked toward him, and emotionally locked up. In the heat of the moment, I just yelled back and told him to say whatever he wanted to say since he clearly hated me. I was panicking and dissociating.

His response was to get completely aggressive, physically overpowering me and crossing a massive boundary by restraining me in a dangerous and terrifying way. My grandmother, grandfather, and aunt were all there in the room. No one protected me or stood up for me. Instead, my grandmother just pulled me away, and the entire situation immediately turned into defending my father's extreme reaction.

My aunt said something I’ll never forget to my father: “Stop, if something happens to the kid, you’ll go to prison and your life will be ruined.” Notice how the concern wasn’t my safety or well-being; it was his legal consequences.

Afterwards, they kicked me out. Everyone started using the same justifications to pressure me: “He’s your father.” “You provoked him.” “In our generation, talking back was a crime.” “You yelled first.” “You disrespected him.” So a grown man’s extreme physical escalation became acceptable, and my emotional breakdown became the real crime. Afterwards, my mother blamed me too and told me not to involve her anymore.

I’m currently staying with my mother, but I know I’ll likely be forced to interact with my father again in the future. I don’t feel safe or validated. I keep being pushed into believing this was my fault. I know I lost my temper in the heat of the moment. But I don’t believe anything justifies how they ganged up on me, physically escalated it, and abandoned me.

Unanswered Any reddit for screenshots of funny response tangents?

Like I've seen several times where people just start a chain of responses that have nothing to do with the question asked, but are flippin hilarious.

Waiting on OP A sub to find someone to talk about my oc with?

I’m not talking about the oc subs when you post a picture of your oc and maybe a few people comment. I mean like something similar to r/writewithme r/bookishtalk

I don’t want someone to write my pc’s lore, I want someone who will let me talk to them about the lore and give me their opinion on things. but I also want to talk to someone who is passionate about one of their ocs.

not looking for “cool oc” comments. I want a conversation o.o;

Unanswered Subreddit like comics that isn’t politically charged

Was banned from the main comics subbed for being active in other subreddits. Love seeing folks making their own and reading them. Trying to not break the rule of speaking badly about other subs so I’ll say less but just looking for an alternative.

I know it’s a bit awkward and strange here on Reddit, but I’m on my own (20+) and I’d love to find people to talk to about some of the problems I’m facing, and perhaps get some advice or different perspectives

Unanswered Where can I get policy questions roughly answered about government services (USA)

I don't expect anyone to be a lawyer for me but I want a reddit where I can ask for directions to knowledgeable people or resources when I have a complex question or Google isn't cutting it. I'm sick and tired of every sub I go on dog piling me for wanting to help unhoused friends and better understand affordable housing and disability social security.

Unanswered Subreddit for people who are fascinated by abandoned theme park attractions

I'm really into old theme parks and the weird stuff that's left behind. I'm talking about abandoned roller coasters, creepy clown statues, that kind of thing. I was wondering if there's a community out there for people who share my fascination with this stuff. Maybe a subreddit where people can share their own photos or stories about abandoned theme parks they've visited.
