I'm trying to find a YouTube channel/series I watched 4+- years ago. Here's everything I vaguely remember:
- An English man created extremely complex multi-step puzzle contests
- There was a (probably) Japanese guy who regularly managed to solve them (enthusiastic, recurring) he was the goat
- The puzzles were very varied — not just coding/crypto, but things like: solving a math problem, heavily editing a photo to reveal a hidden clue, looking something up and reading specific information, finding codes, finding GPS locations, etc.
- Each step led to the next clue in a chain
- There was a intense and difficult time limit to solve it (maybe 24 hours or a week?)
- The prize was possibly money (not 100% sure)
- It was also on Instagram (possibly short clips)
- Small/indie creator — NOT clickbait, NOT Mr. Beast-style, genuinely complex and serious
- NOT Cicada 3301
Does anyone know what this is? I've been searching for a while and can't find it.
