I desperately need to catalog my album collection—too much “do I have this already?” in the record stores—so I’m making it a winter project. I see the Discogs app can scan an album’s bar code to add it to my collection but I’ve got a lot of older LPs that don’t have one.

Are there any 3rd-party apps that’ll scan LP covers, match, and add them to your Discogs collection? I’d like to try and avoid adding so many of my records manually.

[UPDATE] I’m not really concerned about matching the pressings exactly so ballpark matches would be fine

Hello! One of my pet peeves is when I go to add an album and there is no photo. Is there a way for me to add the photo of the album if someone else made the submission? I've looked everywhere on how to do it and I can't ever find a way to do it. I've got an android phone and an iPad so I can use either to do it. Can anyone help?

hey! im pretty new to discogs, and am wanting an album on cd and i prefer to have one of the earlier pressings. Not quite sure how to tell as every posting has the same pictures. Is the only way i can tell by messaging the seller? thanks!
