3 New Home Assistant Integrations: Niagara AX/N4, Crestron CIP, and Daikin DBACS
3 New Home Assistant Integrations: Niagara AX/N4, Crestron CIP, and Daikin DBACS
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a few open-source projects designed to bridge commercial and enterprise automation systems directly into Home Assistant.
All three integrations are currently in BETA (developed with the help of AI coding tools), and I’d love to get feedback, bug reports, or feature requests from the community.
1. Niagara to Home Assistant (Niagara--HA)
- Type: Integration (Read-Only)
- What it does: Uses OBIX to import points from Niagara Workstations directly into Home Assistant.
- Repo:github.com/rellis-erigon/Niagara--HA
2. Crestron Touch Panel Integration (Crestron-CIP-HA)
- Type: Integration / Web View
- What it does: Allows you to load Crestron Touch Panel files (zipped files from the Display folder) and interact with the touch panel directly within Home Assistant. (Currently testing CP3 files as well).
- Repo:github.com/rellis-erigon/Crestron-CIP-HA
3. Daikin DBACS-III HVAC Control (HA-Daikin-DBACS)
- Type: Custom Component (Full Control)
- What it does: Interfaces with Daikin DBACS-III connected AC units. Pulls all available telemetry data and gives full control over connected HVAC units.
- Repo:github.com/rellis-erigon/HA-Daikin-DBACS
Feedback Requested
Since these are in Beta, I'm especially looking for feedback on:
- Installation issues or setup friction
- Point mapping accuracy across different Niagara setups
- UI/Control responsiveness on Crestron panels and DBACS units
Feel free to test them out, open issues on GitHub, or leave your thoughts below!
