Fun Lemon Sweep, a roguelite FPS that runs in your terminal

Lemon Sweep is a roguelite shooter that runs in your terminal. You're a lemon with a broom (the garbage collector), and the TUI frameworks have come for the heap: Bubble Tea, Ratatui, tview, Ink, ncurses. Each one is a pixel creature made from its own idea, so Ratatui is a crab and tview is a modal dialog that bites.

The trailer is a bit unhinged, sorry. Every frame is a 160×45 grid of terminal cells, half blocks as pixels, painted to video. The gameplay parts are real runs played by the game's test bot, and all the sounds come from the game's own synth.

It runs on Limoni, a Go TUI engine. Zero allocations per frame, if you care about that kind of thing.

Play in the browser: https://thebanri.github.io/limoni/?app=lemonsweep

Or install: go install github.com/thebanri/limoni/apps/lemonsweep@latest

Happy to answer anything about how it's rendered.

Command Line Interface Shellroute update: it now works with your own proxy, no account needed

I built Shellroute, an open-source CLI that lets you save your own HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5 proxy and use it from an interactive shell without creating a Shellroute account. Save the proxy once, open Shellroute, connect to it by name, and then use normal terminal commands.

shellroute upstream add my-proxy 'https://USER:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT'
shellroute
/connect my-proxy
curl -I https://example.com/

`USER`, `PASSWORD`, `HOST`, and `PORT` are the details from your proxy provider. `my-proxy` is just a name you choose for the saved proxy.

The proxy applies inside that Shellroute shell, while the rest of your machine keeps its normal connection. Shellroute also has optional hosted country and city routes, which are paid.

Does this kind of saved-proxy shell fit how you use proxies from the command line?

Terminal User Interface i replaced cron and supervisord with one Go binary and gave it a TUI

cron runs your job and then forgets it ever happened. no exit code, logs nowhere to be found and no alerts (unless you count MAILTO, i don't).

so i made RunWisp. one Go binary, tasks in a toml file, and every run keeps it's exit code, duration, CPU/RAM and output.

this is the TUI. type `runwisp` over SSH and you're in.

  1. failed runs and timeouts are red, so they don't hide between 600 green ones
  2. `r` runs a task now, `p` pauses the schedule
  3. `/` filters. log search does substring or regex across every run of a task
  4. ANSI colors survive. the colored SQL in the video is the job's own output, not mine

bubbletea v2 + lipgloss. mouse works too (nobody here will use it, i know)

Is there a web UI? Yes. Will i mention it again on r/commandline? No.

try it with fake data without touching your crontab: `bunx runwisp demo` or just install it - it doesn't register itself as a service unless you explicitly tell it to.

demo spins up fake tasks for a notes app that doesn't exist. quit the TUI and it's gone.

if you press a key out of habit and nothing happens, tell me which one
