QUESTION/HELP Is it still worth learning native Android (Kotlin) in 2026 or should a beginner go straight to cross-platform?
Iām a beginner and want to build mobile apps. Iām confused between learning native Android with Kotlin first, or going straight to a cross-platform framework like Flutter or React Native. With so many cross-platform options now, is Kotlin still worth the time for a beginner? Or would you skip it and start with cross-platform? If you started again today which path would you pick and why? Real experiences would help a lot.
