Academics I built a free extension that puts professor ratings, grade distributions and seat alerts right inside College Scheduler
Spring registration is coming up! If youāre tired of juggling 20+ tabs of anex and Rate My Professors, I built AggieSB+, a free extension that adds one button to College Scheduler and brings everything to you:
- Professor ratings for that specific course, not just their overall rating
- AI summaries of reviews: teaching style, exams, workload and tips, so you donāt have to read 80 reviews
- Grade distributions from past semesters, right next to each professor
- Seat alerts: section full? Hit āAdd Alertā and get a notification the moment a seat opens (free account)
- Fit My Schedule: import your current schedule and find classes that fit in your open time slots
It shows up on course sections, Build Schedule, Shopping Cart and Current Schedule. When you install it, a quick 2-minute tour walks you through everything on a practice page.
- Chrome: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/aggie-schedule-builder-pl/glckdcnecomhlmlegmjdceblibmaljpm
- Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/aggie-schedule-builder-plus/
Iām a student and built this myself, so feedback and feature requests are very welcome. Drop them in the comments.
Thanks & Gig āem! š

Sports [Morales]: Arch Manning, Marcel Reed and 8 other college quarterbacks with complicated futures
Arch Manning, Texas (preseason rank: 7)
The vibes are good in Austin after Texas beat Ole Miss on Saturday and earned its second victory against a top-10 team. Winning typically cures all, but that doesnāt change the fact that Manning turned in yet another up-and-down performance.
Saturdayās win was the first in a four-game stretch that also includes games vs. Mississippi State, at No. 23 Missouri and at No. 15 LSU. Just last week, we were all asking about Manningās future. Should he stay at Texas? Where would be the best transfer destination? Is there any chance he could still declare for the NFL Draft?
Manning could turn the corner and close the season strong, as he did last year. But if he doesnāt, his future will be a scorching hot topic in about a month.
Marcel Reed, Texas A&M (preseason rank: 13)
Reed produced some real positive moments last season, particularly against Notre Dame and South Carolina, but struggled down the stretch in losses to rival Texas and in the first round of the College Football Playoff against Miami.
He has regressed this season. After throwing 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2025, Reed has thrown eight touchdowns and eight interceptions through eight games in 2026. His completion percentage, yards per attempt and passing efficiency rating are down as well.
Meanwhile, former AggieĀ Conner Weigman is thriving at Houston. Texas A&M coach Mike Elko essentially chose Reed over Weigman ā who has thrown 20 touchdown passes and rushed for six scores this season ā two years ago.
Reed is eligible to return to college in 2027, but it feels as though his time at Texas A&M (4-4, 1-4 SEC) has run its course.
Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, Cal (preseason rank: 14)
The Golden Bears made retaining Sagapolutele their No. 1 priority last offseason. Thatās what makes how coach Tosh Lupoi has operated over the past few weeks so interesting.
Sagapolutele suffered a concussion against UNLV on Oct. 3 and was cleared to return two weeks later against Wake Forest. But he didnāt play until the second half when the game was out of reach, and Lupoi wouldnāt publicly commit to JKS as his starter. Sagapolutele did start in Calās 59-20 loss at SMU on Saturday after he competed during the week with Jackson Brousseau, who led the program to a win over Virginia Tech two weeks earlier.
Lupoiās first stint as a head coach has been a mess. Heās made a change at play caller, replacing Jordan Somerville with passing game coordinator Pat McCann.
Sagapolutele has not played up to the potential he showed last season, but all of the drama has not helped.
Ever since he debuted last season, thereās been talk of where Sagapolutele would play in the future. That discourse will only get louder in the next month.

Ask the Aggies Make up exam difficultly
Howdy, was supposed to take an exam at 12:30 today for Ecen 370 but been feeling sick since yesterday, so I emailed by prof and asked for a makeup in a couple days. Prof is a really nice and chill dude but exams are brutal and now Iām worrying if the makeupās gonna be even harder since i technically have an āadvantageā of studying more but feeling like crap while doing it. Do profs make it harder for makeups?

Other Getting pretty tired of seeing all these commercials with the Longhorns in them
The title basically says it all. I donāt know how it is in other states that have multiple large schools with big time athletic programs but itās almost like there arenāt any other universities. Iām no Tech fan but seeing them, or any other college, would be a relief these days

Sports That Fumbled 3rd Quarter Ball Was Never Supposed to Be Snapped
From Robert Cessna article at the Eagle, located at: https://theeagle.com/sports/college/aggiesports/football/article_acded84e-98d7-4c77-b76c-45dcf8567f96.html
āWhat went wrong: A&M was in great position to win as the third quarter winded down. But on fourth-and-inches from its own 45, Reed fumbled the ball falling forward for no gain with Alabama turning that gift into the go-ahead touchdown. And that mistake became twice as costly when A&M ran three plays and punted and Alabama scored another touchdown for its biggest lead. The biggest head-scratcher was that A&M wasnāt even supposed to snap the ball. A&M was trying to get Alabama to jump offside and if that didnāt work, just punt. Head coach Mike Elko had no explanation as to why center Mark Nabou Jr. snapped the football. Reed blamed it on miscommunication. He is a three-year starter, making his 29thcareer start. Nabou, the lone returning offensive line starter from last yearās 11-2 team, was making his 34th career start. When those guys are not on the same page, nor the head coach, thatās a problem. Now, maybe no one wanted to throw someone under the bus, which you can understand. But that mistake canāt happen in the eighth game of the season.ā
The ball was never supposed to be snapped!

Academics has anyone taken a FINC 341 makeup exam?
I was super sick the week of the second FINC exam and had to register for the makeup. I saw on the syllabus that it may not be multiple choice. Iām freaking out that it may be an āall or nothingā point system.
has anyone taken a makeup exam in recent years..? what was it like?

Venting is it okay to have a B in engr 102?
hi!
obviously iām a freshman with the question. iāll probably end up with a b in the class and idk if thatās ok or not. i kind of went in with zero coding experience and got some help and stuff but i still didnāt do the best on the midterm, even though i have an understanding of the content.
i want to go into ISEN so itās not like the most competitive but it feels like everyone ive talked to has done well on this exam, my table mates have As in the class, and my prof said that the blinn students had a lower average than the a&m students on the exam and people started saying we werenāt as smart which made me feel even dumber because iām teab.
if i donāt ace this class, does that mean iām going to fail my engineering classes in the future? i donāt think iām super dumb but this is bringing me down

Other Late to Chem 117 Lab
I came to the ILSQ building on time for Chem 117 Lab, but realized I forgot my lab notebook. Told the TA I'll run to get it. I ran 2 miles in 20 mins to get it, but still end up 20 mins late. I thought I'd be fine since the TA knows I was there on time, I just forgot my notebook and ran to get it.
But I was late for more than 10 mins, and was marked absent because of that. Even though I was let in the lab, collected the data and even got the signature from the TA in the labnotebook, my post lab assignment was still graded 0. Before this, my grade was around 90. Now, even if I get 90 in all remaining assignments, even in the Final assessment, I would get a C.
Im genuinely depressed. Is there any chance for me to still get a partial grade for this postlab assignment?

Being an Aggie football fan right now is so depressingš. I grind school all week looking forward to our football games each weekend only to get disappointed. I hope our 5 star commits for next year donāt leave at this rate.

Academics chen 205 spring professors?
i have early registration, so im kind of limited with the profs i can choose. i only see sections for tamamis, hae-kwon jeong, and jeetain mittal.
it seems like mittal has the best ratings on RMP, but his section times aren't the best for my schedule. is jeong also decent?

Sports Last 4 games prediction
Looking at the remaining schedule, whatās your prediction? Do you think weāll become bowl eligible, or are we missing a bowl this year?
Since this season isnāt living up to our lofty 8ā4 standardsāyes, thatās sarcasmāif we beat t.u. and keep them out of the playoffs, Iām calling that a successful season. Gig āem!
