Colt Cabana beats Punk once and brags about it the whole ride - Ring of Honor (December 7, 2002)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Context: Their next match at Final Battle had a pretty funny stipulation. Winner gets an ROH contract and paid flights, loser still has to drive from Chicago to Philly every time. Punk says if he wins he’ll give up the flights for gas money so they can keep riding together. Colt basically says "nah driving sucks, I’m flying". And this clip shows up in the end of the show.

Why isn’t AJ in more GOAT convos?
I’m binge watching TNA from their first PPV and I just watched his lockdown match with abyss. Bar none the greatest big man vs little man match I’ve ever seen. I watched his entire wwe run as it happened and if he keeps putting on these bangers with TNA the next 8 years, along with his NJPW run, can you really say there’s a better pro wrestler to ever exist? He mastered the X Division style of wrestling then came to the WWE and gave Cena his best matches of his career and mastered the WWE style of wrestling as well. He was also doing this at 5’8

My top ten favourite wrestlers
Xavier Woods - Super underrated, great athleticism, creative genius (brainchild behind the New Day and Upupdowndown). A dark horse cough Paige cough. Underrated mic/promo skills.
Scott Hall - One of the most intelligent minds. He understood the business, knew how to work it, capitalised on it, elevated it. Master of selling, psychology and style.
Goldberg - Undeniable raw charisma and intensity. Amazing entrance theme (gladiatorial). Great signature move/finisher combo. Had a natural look, build, physique. Ironically he didn’t look like his was on roids unlike Lex Luger or Steiner.
Brock Lesnar - Underrated storyteller WM30, Summerslam 2014, 2022, Survivor Series 2003, 2016, No Way Out 2004, WM19, WM31, Summerslam 2015, Smackdown 2003 (various episodes). Freak athleticism, great look. The final boss of final bosses. Has remained credible for almost 25 years and he’s still got it.
Sting - Great gimmick, great athleticism, has wrestled for every major promotion in the last four decades. Is one of the biggest names if not the biggest outside of the WWE. One of the bright spots of 90s WCW. Undeniable legacy.
Kurt Angle - A wrestling machine! Is versatile, had charisma could be goofy and comical yet intense and competitive. Could have a great match with anyone. Good mic/promo skills to boot. “I’ll make your ankle hurt!” LMFAO!
The Undertaker - I really don’t like Mark Calloway at all for personal reasons but the character of the Undertaker is perhaps the best thing that Vince McMahon ever created in the WWE. Great cardio, great move set, undeniable gimmick. I actually prefer the American badass that’s the gimmick I grew up with. He was athletic, versatile, had range. His final match with AJ Styles was a beautiful sendoff to such a monumental career.
Shawn Michaels - Two distinct career runs. His matches carry a certain type of emotional depth unlike any other. His matches had the best finishes too. He really was the best to ever do it. His in-ring skills were so good it makes me jealous. HBK added drama, spectacle and brilliance to pro-wrestling. Perhaps the most influential performer to ever live.
The Rock - Was born to do it. A natural entertainer. It doesn’t matter how repetitious his catchphrases and puns are, he never ceases to entertain! Explosive in-ring athleticism. Go back and watch his matches in 2000 against Triple H, Angle, Benoit, Jericho, Foley etc. Whether it’s in the ring or on the mic The Rock is the total package. His recent work as the final boss (WM40 bloodline) was cinema and his Hollywood Rock run in 03 is why he arguably the GOAT. Just effortless innovation from this man.
1 . Chris Benoit - Technical in-ring skills were flawless. Benoit could make anyone look like a million bucks. He made wrestling look and feel real, his matches carried a sense of grit.
No overselling or tomfoolery with this man. He was a nonsense performer who took the business seriously. Every match, every performance was CLEAN! I can’t fault him. His match with Kurt at the RR 2003 is a masterclass in technical wrestling and arguably the best match of the last 25 years.

who could pull off a modern Raven (wcw run) with Flock?
who could take on their own persona mirroring Raven's and having their own flock? adding their own take on it is acceptable. im considering Raven's run in wcw where he develops the flock and talks about being undesirable, bullied, etc.
edit: doesnt have to copy Raven's appearance.

Agent of Shadows
Has anyone watched Agent of Shadows, the ReelShort/WWE microdrama collab that was recently released? 😂 It’s definitely cheesy and over-the-top at times, but that’s kind of part of the charm with these types of dramas. Out of all the wrestlers involved, though, I honestly think Drew is the only one who really does a good job acting. He comes across naturally in his scenes and seems the most comfortable in front of the camera. Michael Hayes was also a guilty pleasure for me — I couldn’t help but enjoy his scenes! 😂
The lead actress, Katherine Gibson, is another highlight. She does a really good job and brings a lot to the story, making the drama more engaging to watch. Overall, it’s not exactly high-quality television, but it’s entertaining in its own ridiculous way. I’m curious to know what everyone else thought of it, especially Drew’s performance!
