Steam VR with Vive Pro on Windows 11, MSI AM4 x570 motherboard, 5800x3D.
Link device is connected to dedicated "VR" USB 3 port, but this happens even if I connect to another port.
Have used both RTX3090 and RTX5090 and both have same issue.
Randomly the keyboard and mouse devices will disconnect then immediately reconnect.
The Windows "remove device" sound plays, then immediately the "add device" sound plays, and for about half a second the devices don't respond.
Thought this was a USB problem so switched to Bluetooth devices, yet the problem still occurs in exactly the same way as it did with the USB devices.
This isn't a problem during native VR sessions but if I'm playing Flat2VR seated KVM games, obviously there is a bit of input lag.
There are no random disconnects when SteamVR isn't running.
While SteamVR is running this occurs, even if no game is playing and I have the headset off my head on the desk.
SteamVR running? KVM disconnects.
SteamVR not running? All normal.
