Hey Saskatchewanians!
Rule 1 in r/Saskatchewan says that "Posts should focus on events, issues, or culture that affect Saskatchewan as a whole." But sometimes you might have a question or discussion that doesn't follow that rule.
Maybe you want to want to ask about "monkey budging" (Which isn't Saskatchewan specific).
Maybe you want to tell everyone how much your concrete patio cost, or ask what the temperature at the lakes is (neither of which affect Saskatchewan as a whole).
Or maybe you want to advertise an event happening in Regina (better suited for r/Regina), Saskatoon (better suited for r/Saskatoon), or Moose Jaw (better suited for r/MooseJaw) but is open to everyone from everywhere (elsewhere in Saskatchewan, or Canada, or beyond).
Well here's your (bi-weekly) chance! Comments in this thread are exempt from Rule 1; meaning they can be completely random and/or completely off-topic! However, the rest of the subreddit (and Reddit) rules still apply! For example:
This post will repeat on Mondays and Fridays at 08:00 AM CST.

Is it true that you don't need an SREC Property Manager license to work as a Property Manager in Saskatchewan ?

Are there any paranormal groups in Saskatchewan? If anyone has any feed back or suggestions it would be appreciated.

Good day everyone,
Was just wondering if anyone has done the Property Management stream for SREC and the jobs outlook in Saskatoon, Regina etc I'm currently living in Lloydminster and there are few jobs here but I'm eventually moving to Saskatoon. The reason I'm asking is because the Sales aspect is more fleshed out so there are more resources online for it. Are there property management jobs or should I look elsewhere?

Was just wondering if anyone has applied for an insurance license in Saskatchewan from ICS with a pardoned criminal record and what the process was like. I really want to become an insurance broker and I will soon get my pardon but I wanted to find out if the Suitablity to hold a licence policy will still prevent me from getting an insurance broker licence from ICS with my record suspension.

“The version of the report that was originally shared by the NDP was removed following Moe’s post. It was replaced by a 28-page document that no longer contained the excerpts…”

It could be in the arts, business, politics or something notorious. EG Moose Jaw could be Lorne Calvert or Colin Thatcher. Or Carl Imhoff who was a famous artist who moved to St Walburg. Or Brent Butt from Tisdale. Or Tatiana Maslany from Regina.

Hello, I am currently doing some research and compiling information about train stations all over the province. They’re a fascinating topic, especially if you learn that there were almost 1500 of them in the province.
My question to you all is: Does anyone have any information about the “Dreghorn Station” that was between Pilot Butte and Richardson? This (1914) map was from the university archive. The only other lead is that the station moved to Jameson, then to Montartre in 1964 about.
The other suggestion is that if you have any community history books like “Where Aspens Whisper” or “Balgonie: Celebrating History”, please let me know and it could aid to my research about these lovely stations.

im breaking a lease and landlord is asking for a liquidation fee of my base rent. from what tenant board saying is that you are only obligated to give next month rent as you require to give one month notice and excessive charges is available. any additional fee would be up to your discretion. what i am curious is how do the hearings usually go?

hi everyone. I’m hoping to hike in grasslands national park next week. hoping to stay 2 nights. it’s looking like all the campsites are closed? I’m fine with sleeping in my car, would just need a place to park it. a hotel would be even better but I’m hoping not to go over $100/night in budget.
please tell me any info you think I should have!
I have a bit of anxiety and I’ll be going alone and don’t want to die lol
