Cup of Inspiration You climb every level of English football, in the birthplace of the sport, all the way to the elite, only to win the award for the best player in the world in your own country. Aura

Premium motivation

Context: today this guy (Harry Kane) won the best player of the year award for football
the sport that would be the most widely spoken language if it were a language, and the most populated place on Earth if it were a place. No nepotism, no bullshit, well earned, only hard work and being a beast of a football player. I think this video carries some heavy aura

☕︎✔️Café Official What small change are you still doing 6 months later?

Let's skip the hacks that last a week.

What's one change — to your routine, your tools, your mindset, whatever — that you made at least 6 months ago and you're still doing today?

Could be big. Could be tiny. The only rule is it has to still be active. Not "I did this for a while." You're still doing it right now.

The best productivity advice isn't the most creative. It's the most durable. Drop the thing that lasted.

Career/Work Brew Help! I cannot find any job after I graduated with Master degree in information system. Southern California

Hi everyone,

I feel stuck and I'm asking for help. How can I find a job and get out of my current situation?

I'm in the US, and I've been job searching since I started my master's program in Information Systems. After I graduated with my business management degree, I sent out about 80 applications and couldn't find a job.

During my master's program I worked really hard. I earned a 3.71 GPA, visited the career office more than 40 times, attended all the alumni events, and sent out over 1,500 applications over 1.5 years of the master's program and 0.5 years of a PhD program. I was accepted into the PhD program with partial tuition support, but I couldn't afford to continue because I couldn't find a job.

In mid-2025, I decided to quit the PhD program and moved to the Midwest to work as an ERP administrator at an agricultural company. I didn't like the location, so I kept applying to about 100 positions a month through Indeed and LinkedIn, but I got no offers.

In April 2026, I left that job. The role had no defined job description, so I ended up handling everything the team needed, and there were ongoing conflicts between stakeholders that poor negative emotion to me and I couldn't resolve.

Now I'm back in Southern California, and after 5 months I still haven't found a job. My savings are almost gone, and I really need help. I've gone to career fairs, church, alumni events, and friends, and they've helped me get interviews, but I get rejected once I reach the interview stage.

I love computers, but I can't get any job related to computers. Every job I apply to requires experience, and employers either don't want me because my work experience is in agriculture, or because I have too little experience overall.

Here's my resume (personal and company details removed):

[NAME REDACTED]

Southern California, USA | [Email] | [Phone] | [LinkedIn]

I'd really appreciate your feedback on:

  1. Should I give up on my master's degree field, take an unrelated job, and start over?

  2. Online applications don't work for me and drain too much of my energy. What should I do instead?

I'm lucky to have a good father who supported me until I finished my master's degree, but I feel ashamed that I still can't get a real job to start my own life and pay back my family.

Honest and blunt feedback is welcome. Thank you!

🧐 General Advice Watched a video on self-improvement, and these were my biggest takeaways. What do you think?

Post image
1 Upvotes

watched a video about productivity and self-improvement, and these were the main takeaways I noted down:
Fix your attention: Reduce mindless scrolling, spend some time without constant stimulation, and focus more on creating than consuming.
Fix your environment: Surround yourself with people who push you to improve, and address your worst habits before adding new ones.
Have four daily wins: Try to make progress spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially every day.
Plan for bad days: Instead of abandoning your routine when motivation is low, establish a minimum standard you can still maintain.
Subtract before adding: Remove distractions, unnecessary tasks, and habits that keep you stuck rather than constantly adding more routines.
Identify your bottlenecks: Write down your six biggest goals, six things holding you back, and six actions you can take immediately.
The biggest takeaway for me was that self-improvement isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about removing what’s holding you back and consistently doing the basics.
For those interested in productivity and self-improvement, which of these ideas have actually worked for you, and which do you think are overrated?

❓ Question What tools actually helped you in your first year of trading?

I am trying to build good habits around stock trading and though a lot of people encourage they often warn it is not for the faint hearted and it requires time to become seasoned.

I do understand that practice and locking in is mainly where the journey begins however to some degree, I still feel blind walking a lonely street with no streetlights.

There are some amazing communities on Discord and Reddit, but I must admit, I tiptoe around eggshells in search of guidance due to community rules and to be fair, seeing the amount of spammers that come through to dilute the quality of these communities, I can't blame the mods.

All that being said, I am in search for useful tools to make me better at the trade. Some that has helped me so far is YouTube, Reddit, Discord (a community recommendation for Skool will be appreciated). Tradingview is a must, Perplexity, Aries and Gemini are my AI layer. People say Bloomberg and though I agree, I am open to alternatives.

If there are other tools out there for trade logs, discussions, TA and anything that helps with cutting the noise, it'll be fantastic to know what they are.

Anyways that's where I'm at

💰 Finance Talk What's the best money you spent this year?

Not the biggest purchase. The best one.

The thing where you thought "why didn't I do this sooner." Could be $5 or $500. A gadget, a subscription, a piece of furniture, a class, a really good pillow. What was worth every cent?

🧐 General Advice what is something you realized too late that completely changed how you treat people?

sometimes one experience teaches you more about trust, friendship, or respect than years of advice ever could. once you see things differently, it is hard to go back to how you thought before.

what happened that changed your perspective on people forever?

☞☜ Accountability morning productivity☕️

hey guys!!
so i’ve realised that one of the major reasons i’m not getting shit done is because my mornings are just SO lazy 😭 by the time i actually get my shit together and sit down to study, half the day is already gone
so i’m trying to do a little accountability thing starting tomorrow, and these are a few things i’ve picked up from reddit that i’m gonna try to implement:
1. no checking my phone for the first 30-60 mins after waking up
2. getting done with my morning routine quickly and sitting down at my desk to study within an hour of waking up
3. writing down ONE thing that would make the day feel like a win, so i have something specific to work towards from the very beginning
i feel like i really need to stop letting the first few hours of my day dictate how productive the rest of it is, and hopefully this helps 🤞🏻
would love to know what you guys do to have a good morning and actually get yourselves to start working instead of rotting in bed for an hour 😭 any little habits that have genuinely worked for you? pls share!!
