Looking for a ring that will redirect people to any link
I am hoping to get a ring so that people can follow my instagram or youtube channel when they scan the ring.
What rings should I get?
Thanks.

Hello , I’m looking to see if it’s possible for me to copy the info from my Amazon work badge that I use to enter the building onto something else so I can put it on a keychain or something less bulky that I don’t have to dig around my car , bag , etc to find . Not sure how to even start because I’m not super tech savvy lol . Any help would be appreciated !

Hey everyone, I created this app called TagKit. It's a free app for NFC tags.
Tap a tag and see what's on it — what kind of tag it is, how much space is used, and what's saved on it.
You can also write to a tag yourself — a link, Wi-Fi so guests can join with one tap, a contact, a phone number, a message, and more. You can save it as a template and use it again later.
No account, works offline. Your history just stays on your phone.
Free here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.logiqon.tagkit
I’ve created a new Android app for the Proxmark3. It features a modern interface and requires no Termux, TCP bridge, or other external apps—it’s a single, plug-and-play application that comes with many built-in functions.
Try it out and let me know your feedback
Hi! I'm looking for a cheap S70 (4k) UID changable tag, specifically one with a 4-byte block 0. I've been searching on AliExpress, but so far I've only managed to find some at the PISword store. Does anyone know of other sellers or cheaper alternatives for this type of tag? Any leads would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!"

I keep seeing "my tag works on Android but not on my iPhone" questions, so here's what I've learned building an iPhone NFC app. Corrections welcome.
Background reading (no app open, iPhone XS or newer, screen on) iOS only acts on the first link-type record:
So, practically
Inside an app (foreground Core NFC) you can read and write all of the above, plus UID, chip type and memory, and on NTAG21x set a password or permanently lock.
Chip sizes (user memory): NTAG213 = 144 bytes, NTAG215 = 504 bytes, NTAG216 = 888 bytes. A URL or Wi-Fi record fits on a 213. Big vCards may need a 215/216.
Disclosure: I'm the developer of NFC Toolkit for iPhone. I'm not linking it here because the point is the table. Ask if you want details.

Hello, I’m struggling to set-up NFC tags to run routines with my iPhone.
Is there anyway to be able to run an automation to turn on or off several devices when a tag is tapped without any prompts to open Shortcuts, and that will also work if my phone is locked?
I’ve tried using “When NFC tag is scanned” to no avail.

Hi guys, I want to create my own google review card and I am wondering what size of NFC tag does the chinese google review cards have? Like what is the size of the antenna the NTAG in the google review card has? Does anybody know please?

i just need tags that open URL when tapped, maybe for packaging and displays. sounds simple but then you see NTAG213, 215, 216, different memory, stickers, epoxy, metal-safe...rabbit hole. ive been checking nfc manufacturers on alibaba and prices are tiny in quantity, so choosing wrong chip would annoy me more than cost. for normal iPhone or Android link use, is NTAG213 enough most of time? some tags may go on metal displays, so those need anti-metal layer right? anyone ordered few thousand and had bad read-rate issues? encoding can be done ourselves. im mainly after reliable adhesive and consistent scanning, not fancy security features.

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand the technology behind my own Intratone apartment access badge and determine whether it can be legitimately duplicated onto a compatible blank card.
My setup:
OS: Kali Linux Live (USB)
NFC reader: ACS ACR122U
Software: libnfc 1.8.0
Original badge: Intratone access badge for my apartment building
Blank card: I would like to determine whether it is compatible.
When I run mfoc -P 500 -O, all the key fields show . instead of X. I’m using an ACS ACR122U reader with Kali Linux and an Intratone access badge. Has anyone encountered this issue? Could it be related to the reader, the card type, or the mfoc configuration?

Please be kind, I am not especially tech savvy.
iPhone 13 (I think) user. Had my iPhone with me, not near anything. I got an NFC link tag prompt. I distractedly clicked on it as I was waiting on a text reply from a friend. It took me to the Google sign in page. I did not sign in and a closed the site link. I am otherwise signed in to my own Google account. Nothing appears to be newly downloaded. Am I at risk? Is there anything else for me to do? Thank you in advance.

Digital business cards and tap-to-share wearables have been around for a while, but nearly every wristband on the market is made of molded black silicone.
I wanted to create an accessory that blends in seamlessly with everyday fashion. I paired natural, organic textures with a discreet NFC chip inside, so it wears like a classic artisan piece rather than a piece of tech hardware.
But the hardware is only half of it. The real experience is what happens the moment someone taps it:
Curious to hear what people think—do you prefer tech that looks like tech, or tech that is completely hidden inside everyday fashion?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Our partner found a use for the NFC tag in our VidaBay e-ink snap: first upload the static image to the Snap via NFC, then program the video URL into it, so that tapping the NFC tag behind the screen makes the static image come to life on the phone.

Does anyone know how to use a library card as a normal NFC tag I can formate it but not write to it
I have one of the NFC e-ink phone cases for my iPhone, and I've always found it to be a cool party trick. Lately, I looked at it again and thought, "Let's reverse engineer this." Turns out, there is no magic behind it. Claude was very helpful with decompiling the manufacturer apps, and we even wrote a sniffer app for Android. I initially thought it wouldn't work, but it did!
I wrote down my findings here, and I built some useful features into my app because I disliked the manufacturer's version. This case really sparked some ideas that I can now build.

Hey all, my phone does not have NFC & I want to somehow access afterpay's virtual card which would usually be put onto Google wallet via the app. Any devices which are used as a small nfc wallet or something? Thanks 🙏

is there a way to see how many times a tag has been scanned? i know there is with a URL but that's not how id be using the tags so im curious if there's a work around. ive looked at NFCcool and thats still URL based.
Basically i work in at a school and want to put NFC tags in classrooms so the teachers can tap to call IT. My boss has agreed to a small test program if at the end of the semester i can prove people have been using it. i suppose i could have the tag open a webpage that just holds the phone number but that feels a little clunky when i could just have the tag load the phone number and the person presses call.
open to any suggestions and thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a solution where I have a miniature device (it can look like a record player or a radio or a cassette player) and it plays a few tracks without any phone or bluetooth.
Miniature Vinyl record player exist for example by Zuru Mini. But I can only get the vinyls they produce. On Etsy there are ppl who create something similar that's costumizable (1 player, 9 songs) but I want more tracks and I want to costumize them myself (putting my old childhood audiobooks on it for example).
Now I found this NFC technology. Do you think that it's possible to DIY something like that? I am completely new to this. But could I for example buy one of those costumizable Vinyls and do it myself? Can I maybe then play them with a bought miniature record player? For example the Mini Verse records don't work with the Zuru record player because they are from another brand :/ how would I make it work?
I have no idea about programming. Is that part hard or super easy fone with an app? 😅
I really have no idea, please enlighten me.
Thank you so much for any helpful answer! 🙏

Hi, I am wondering what type of NFC tag do you use for keychains? I tried to make NFC keychains with NTAG215 25mm and it worked great on samsung and couple other android devices but when I tried it with iphone the placement of the keychain had to be very specific and it took quite some time before the NFC tag loaded on the iPhone?
I read that Iphones have weaker NFC technology but I saw videos of people using probably same size chip in keychains and having no problems with iphones? Any tips please? Maybe I bought some low quality chips?

We manage a small housekeeping team of around 10 cleaners working across hotels and holiday homes in Greece.
We’ve built a web platform that tracks cleaning time per room. Cleaners currently scan room QR codes with their phones, but using personal phones throughout a busy working day has been a struggle. We’re looking for a simpler hardware solution.
Our ideal workflow will be:

Which NFC controller is in the Solana Seeker?
I'm thinking of buying a Seeker for dev work on a payment app I've been building for about a year. I can't find the NFC controller listed in any spec sheet or teardown. Is it ST, NXP or something else?
If you have one, could you run these and share the output?
adb shell dumpsys nfc
adb shell ls /vendor/etc | grep -i nfc
adb shell pm list features | grep nfc
For reference, the Pixel 8 and 9 use the STMicro ST54L, a combined NFC controller and secure element. I haven't seen the Pixel 10's chip confirmed. Thanks
