What's your "How are they here?" Moment when looking at a team interested in your services?

I’ve been playing for 3 weeks now and online head to head is so awful. Had a dude chew clock for 2 straight quarters out of halftime, I didn’t get the ball once and wins by kicking a field goal. This has happened like every one in 3/4 games I play… how is that even fun? Most of these guys only run the same formation of cheese plays.

I am old school enough to remember when Madden used to have NFL classic teams available. I believe they abandoned it as to not have to pay individual retired players outside of owning the NFL rights and access to all current players. I’d love to see classic teams back in a similar manner that NBA 2K does with classic NBA teams. Does anyone agree this would be a nice feature to renew ?

I’ve always been the guy that thought MUT was the best mode/part of madden. I spent money, grinded, sweated, and had fun. However, lately I just lost the spark for mut. I’ve become really busy with school, work, life, etc. I used to be able to play each weekly release, 1-2 hours a day, grind and sweat. Now I’m lucky if I can play 1 game a day. I just couldn’t keep up with the green of EA and the fast rate cards get outdated. It exhausted me and lowkey I just gave up and stopped playing MUT. I was wondering what I wanted to even do on madden. I just decided late at night I’ll start a dolphins rebuild offline franchise. Lo and behold it’s been the most fun I’ve had on madden. It’s like the best aspects of MUT, without the sweats, EA greed, having to worry about not being able to play on a constant basis. I slept on franchise for the longest time before I realized how good it actually is. I was so invested in free agency I almost lost track of time. Franchise just showed me how flawed mut is, sure I can’t have the best players in every spot, but I never even had that in MUT. It’s just so much more fun. It’s motivating me to lead every nfl team to a Super Bowl at least once.

This is nebulous, but as someone who played the game religiously from Madden 08 to about Madden 13 - the current day version gameplay feels so uncanny and simply not as fun.

It's hard to put a finger on but an example to illustrate my point- hit stick feels underwhelming on defence. To me, this is the one fun thing about D, trying to kill the opposing QB/runners lol. I'm not asking to bring back the helment-popping-off feature, but it used to feel way way better to successfully hit stick.

This could be a mixture of sound in game too, but I liked the way the OL/DL would kinda just smash into each out in the old 08-ish era games.

Some positives, spin moves/jukes as a ball carrier are great. I also love that they have the real players from the game on the sideline (finally), it was cool seeing Cooper DeJean signal a first down for my Eagles offence.

Anyone else feel this way? I think in the pursuit of lifelike game play, there is a risk it becomes a bit too realistic and therefore tedious.

I am definitely washed at the gameplay, just to get ahead of anyone else rightly pointing this out lol.

I am a Madden player going back to the original SEGA genesis. I religiously bought Madden yearly for the last 30 years, but as of late I’ve just been playing the previous years game. I enjoy grinding in MUT and I also do franchise mode. Not having up to date rosters is no big deal for me and there are plenty of online players on Madden 26 as a great example. I plan to get 27 when it’s 75% off after the Super Bowl. Saying that , how long does EA typically support older games before then pullmaerver support ?

My punter fumbles when I hit the kick meter in the red. I usually hit it there, and have never seen this. I found it pretty funny, and it had no impact on the outcome.

Playing a game last night and in crucial sistuations the screen would jump. This seemed to throw off the timing of my play and caused me to miss passes. Thoughts?

For the life of me, I can't find EJ Smith anywhere. I'm a Cowboys fan; I grew up watching his dad and I wanna add him to the Dallas roster and build him up to be the next great Cowboys RB

I'm French and I only know about 5% of what American football is. I tried Madden 26 to see if it was fun, but I feel like 90% of the game is loading screens and the AI playing for us. Am I right, or is this just due to my inexperience with this sport?

I can't tell if this is the best win or the worst win of my life but I've definetly never seen anything like it

Created a team with the intention of trading my fantasy team to one team and subbing in my team builder team. Playing a game in Play Now here and there.

Is that possible? What’s with all the CPU-generated guys on team builder? Where do they go? Am I trading those guys for my guys? Now there’s a bunch of phony players amongst the ranks?

I get it with a minute left, I throw to DeVonta on a dig, the pass is green but I still get this BS animation that gets picked.

I let them score since the return had them in FG range.

My return man gets destroyed and fumbles it losing me the game. I’ve never had trouble with fumbles before, but I feel like the game just wanted me to lose today and there was nothing I could’ve done about it

And just after I managed to get us in field goal range, ran hurry up to spike it. Had no time outs left and the game would not let me hike the ball or do ANYTHING at all I just had to sit there pressing A until the time ran out…

in offline franchise, if you control all 32 teams then free agency gets locked, like you genuinely can’t access it. also it js skips the manage roster tab completely sometimes, but even if it doesn’t skip the tab free agency is still locked

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask but I'm desperate with how frustrating this has been. About a week ago during MF first drop, I had massive connection issues (getting booted from games/challenges/CPU games - sometimes immediately sometimes after a few plays) with basically no solutions. Eventually after a few days, the problem went away.

Now it's back again with a vengeance and tells me the "You Have Been Disconnected from EA Servers" message, but I noticed my entire internet now cuts out for a moment when I go into a game. After closing Madden, my internet comes back. Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this or have a potential fix? Getting kicked out mid-game counts as a loss and it's so annoying not being able to play because of issues like this. Thanks!

I exported a DE from CFB to Madden. Played a couple of preseason games then I forced a fumble and the game froze after the play. I called a TO and then the play clock ran down. My player a DE mind you,got called for delay of game lol,then the game froze again. Same thing happened in my first regular season game. Nothing seems to work. Luckily I just have the trial and deleted this trash ass game. Back CFB I suppose.

WTF is even this Madden, lmao??? I've toggled the settings between Visual and Performance but it didn't help. Has been this way since the latest update, only on poor Riq.

I like to go back to older maddens but playing against the ai gets boring anyone on ps wanna run some older maddens could be 1v1 or 2s against ai or starting a franchise on the daily I own every single one you could possibly play on a ps4/5 with a bunch 2ks aswell just lmk and ill dm my psn please don’t add me if you wont at least try to be active.
