I’m looking for somewhere to overland and camp in central fl. I know you can dispersed camp during the summer in Ocala national forest and I’ve heard you can camp out in winter even tho it’s not allowed no one will bother you but I’m not sure how true that is and would prefer to do it more legitimately. I’ve looked into it a bit but finding corresponding information on it seems to be few and far between if anyone has any more information or could point me in a better direction I’d really appreciate it.thanks

Please share if you are able. We all need to come together no matter where we are in the world before our Earth is stripped bare.

There are a Hawk pair that nest by my house and every summer one and hang out, been trying to get better shots and when I do I will post.
Also, have many deer, coyotes, and owls that hang out with me. The owl has twice flown by me at roughly 10- and less feet away either hunting a sugar glider or scaring coyotes. Owls are my main totem animals

Hello we are considering a trip to Florida this winter with our family (young children). We are nature lovers and want to avoid crowds, amusement parks, all that jazz. We want to experience the natural parts of Florida - flora, fauna, do some hiking, fishing, etc. Where would be a good kid friendly spot for us to go?

These are the only ones I've ever spotted. I'll never forget the smell, or the amount of interested flies.

We saw this guy at Circle B Bar Reserve. I had a blast watching everybody walk by him and not even realizing he was there. I waited for the kids and then I would take them back to the snake and show him where they had just walked past it and watch them freak out. I love it 🤣 He was about waist high in a shrub beside the trail.

I took both of these from the water. It was one of the nights it was lit up and it happened to also be a full moon that night. There was also bioluminescence in the wake from our boat.

This petition is against the Tuscana Project. This development plan would not only greatly impact the Williamsburg community but also the surrounding neighborhoods like Hunters Creek and Deer Creek. This would be an absolute disaster for thousands of homes and wildlife that depend on those woods for survival. This area is not only sensitive wetland but also headwaters to the Everglades. Please sign and share to spread awareness. Thank you for caring! 🙏 #saveshinglecreek
