So for context this woman in Aliens of London is an Expanded Universe character. Her name is Muriel Frost and works for UNIT she appeared in the 7th Doctor comics The Mask of Mandrogora and the controversial Evening's Empire comic and an alternative universe version in Final Genesis and then in the 7th Doctor Audio The Fires of Vulcan in the 2000s, this would her last appearance in the EU.

Five years later this Woman in Aliens of London was part of the Alien Experts at Downing Street and part of the UNIT team. Now without prior knowledge, she seems to be just background cannon fodder.

More bizarrely apparently in early drafts, The Doctor was going mention her by name. However on the in-universe UNIT website, she mentioned by name, confirming this is her.

There's a book called Classified! A Confidential 3-D Dossier which seems a Series 1 Dossier that seemly her and UNIT prepared prior to Aliens of London which is even more bizarre.

Anyway, I thought this was just a weird decision imo, why go through all this effort to a kill off a side character at that new audience won't know lol

Edit: This is a continuation of this post detailing beauty products I think would be used by the companions. Which is a continuation of this post detailing the Doctor’s dop kit. And this unserious post about picking the doctors pocket. Any more posts and we have a fence so ttfn

The 11th and 12th Doctors’ TARDIS exterior had this configuration in the window panels that faintly suggest eyes. Personally, I always loved this little detail. I would have loved for it to have been adopted as a permanent characteristic of the TARDIS exterior, but sadly it seems to have been ditched.

Hello! Is anyone aware of complete copies of these early books anywhere online?? [Edit: list updated.]

• Doctor Who Puzzle Fun No. 1 (1966)
• Doctor Who Puzzle Fun No. 2 (1966)
• Doctor Who: Travels in Time - Painting Book (1966) - Doctor Who Toybox has a listing for this but I can't find details anywhere else, so it's possible that it's been mixed up with the Sticker Fun Book: Travels in Time. It may also be the same as the "Dr Who Painting Book No. 2" mentioned elsewhere.

I'm aware that reproductions of some of these have been published in recent years (eg), so if anyone could put me in touch with the producers of those, that would be hugely appreciated!

(Note that, confusingly, there were both Travels in Time and Travels in Space 'Sticker Fun Books', AND a *Travels in Space '*Painting Book'.)

Thank you!

Jenna & Peter were SO complimentary about my handmade space suits!

Putting aside the drama of the Second Doctor being forced into regenerate, there’s something hilariously ironic about one of the Time Lords (Chancellor Goth?) admonishing the petulant Doctor for “wasting time.” Was that meant to be a comedic line or did the writers stumble into that irony by accident?

Obviously there’s no way for me to ask the writers themselves what they intended, but either someone does know, or else we can speculate. And as I hinted above, I was curious as to whether this unnamed Time Lord counts as Chancellor Goth, given that the actor came back to play Goth.

Yes, the scarf is quite difficult to work with. But, with a little patience, you can get it to look quite nice. The colours are beautiful, so it would certainly be a shame not to use it.

As for the rest? Gorgeous. This is their best Tom Baker yet. I am beyond thrilled with this!

In like January I made a vanity review for all of the nuwho doctors and I finally got around to making one for the the companions. Sorry for the products I know are US exclusive… I tried…

Edit: for typo and to provide link to the Doctor’s vanity review

Second edit: to provide link to what’s in the Doctors pocket (taken less seriously)

Third edit: the Master

It was so much fun making this and I even snuck in my own mini figure.

I got into Doctor Who a long time after the United 93 movie was released, and upon re-watching “Dalek” realized I recognized Corey from somewhere else, after looking his through his filmography, I noticed that he played my brothers’ dad, Lou Nacke, in the dramatized retelling of the Flight 93 portion of the September 11th attacks. Leave it to a show like Doctor Who to remind us how small this world is!

Andrew Garfield, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and now Tom Rhys Harries.

Who would have thought the polka dot bikini guy from dot and bubble would be the next breakout star?

From the pages of Doctor Who Magazine, join the Fifteenth Doctor as he hurtles through time and space in this action-packed collection of comic strip adventures!

From a deadly game of ‘It’ on the planet Grey Grieving to battling a skeletal Ossurian at the Museum of Natural History, the Doctor faces thrills, chills and unexpected dangers at every turn! Impish enemies, disco delinquents and spine-chilling spooks are bad enough, but there’s even worse on the horizon for the Doctor when he encounters his deadliest foes, the Daleks, in 1920s Paris – and discovers they may have struck a deal with the devil!

What are some of the best runs of episodes in the show, some great contenders I think are Human Nature to The Sound Of Drums (maybe Last Of The Timelords but I’m unsure about that), tbh all of Series 4, Series 1 onward from The Unquiet Dead and Series 5 onward from Vampires Of Venice (not the biggest fan of that ep), what are some other great runs?
