Hey all! I forked Xodus Nexus (the Xbox/Game Pass launcher for Linux) and added a few features, including arm64 support.
• Native arm64 builds of the launcher, backend and runtime, so it runs natively on armadaOS
• Offline play: set your device as the offline PC (like the Xbox app does) and play installed games without internet, using a stored license and your saved Xbox identity
• Faster no-internet detection: it figures out within seconds that you’re offline instead of hanging
• Background service + Steam integration: games run through a background service, so launching from Game Mode works better. Closing is cleaner and crashes recover on their own
• Small UI fixes, like a closing game now showing as “closing” and a clearly labeled force stop
⚠️ Full honesty: this is vibe coded (built with AI help) and so far I’ve only tested it on my own Odin 3 running ArmadaOS. It’s unofficial, not from the upstream devs, so please report problems to my fork, not to them.
🙏 I need testers! Different games, Game Pass vs. owned titles, offline vs. online. Any feedback helps.
To install: in Desktop Mode, open Konsole and run curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/indiesaudi/xodus-nexus/main/scripts/install.sh | bash, then install the backend and runtime from Settings. It will detect your architecture (x86 or arm64) and install the right components for you.

I submitted PRs to the upstream devs. It is up to them to accept it or not.
