Except I’m always in the mood for Luka slander

I’m playing Bayonetta 2 for the first time and I’m absolutely loving it, but I’m getting regular verse times around 38 seconds and boss verse times around 1:15, and I’ve not landed anything but gold. How do I do this faster? I’m not getting enough magic to do umbran climax, it’s just as fast as in Bayo 1, but taking the time to get it would just run the timer longer no?

Let me start this by saying I've been obsessed with PlatinumGames for a long time, ever since I saw gameplay for MGRR and found out they were the devs behind NieR: Automata. Even their older titles like MadWorld and ANARCHY Reigns. Didn't have money / wasn't around their peak to play them at the time, so I just listened to their incredible soundtracks. So when a good sale for Bayonetta appeared in the PS4 store one day, I didn't hesitate to buy it.

And I fucking LOVED this game. Gameplay, characters, and the soundtrack, of course. The beginning cutscene in the graveyard was just sensational, despite how long it was. Bayonetta was my first introduction to the character action genre, so I got completely assraped on my first playthrough. Almost stone statues every single level. I LOATHE that missile level with a burning passion. And the final boss, god. I was stuck for like 40 minutes cuz of the black hole attack.

Overall, 9.5/10. Life-changing game. Bayo can have my kids. Saving up for 2 & 3 and Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and etc. I've heard some things about 3's ending, but it can't be that bad, right?

Like it fights in that game where like 10 secs sure I didn't do the best but definitely not the worst but like again maybe it's just not for me but I also enjoy Delta rune so I don't know if it's because there's nothing much happening between fights or I just prefer fast paced games like the bayo games like I still enjoy some slower paced games like monster hunter but I mostly use dual blades and long sword so I have a low attention span or does it have something to do with my autism

Hey all! I’ve been messing around with Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon on emulator, and I ended up with two code mods I want to share.

🎮 Co-op mod: Player 1 is Cereza, Player 2 is Cheshire

The whole game is built around controlling both characters at once with one controller, left half for Cereza and right half for Cheshire but i really wished it supported local coop, so this mod splits the controller across two players, each with their own controller:

• P1 (Cereza): moves with either stick, L/R to jump, interact and hug Cheshire, ZL/ZR for Umbran Arts
• P2 (Cheshire): moves with either stick, ZL/ZR to attack, A/B/X/Y or the D-pad to switch elements, R to send him out and stretch him in Hug Mode
• Menus are handled automatically. When the pause menu or a pop-up opens, P1 gets a normal controller and P2 is ignored, so nobody accidentally messes things up. During dialogue P2 can keep walking around and P1 skips the text with A.
• Single Joy-Cons held sideways work too, so you can share one pair of Joy-Cons.
• If P2 isn’t connected, the game plays exactly like vanilla, so you can leave it installed.

🔍 Max LOD mod: full-detail models at any distance

In the stock game, models swap to simpler meshes as the camera pulls back. Cereza drops from about 40k triangles to about 20k, then about 9k. This mod keeps the full-detail mesh on screen at every distance, so there’s no pop-in between detail levels and characters stay sharp even in wide shots. Cutscenes use the same models, so they get it too.

Some notes

• Both are for game version 1.0.0 and only tested on the Eden emulator. Real Switch hardware is untested for now, and so is Ryujinx. If you try them there, let me know how it goes!
• They’re drag-and-drop: extract the zip into your emulator’s mod folder. They use different slots, so you can run both together.
• The co-op one is a beta. If you hit a menu or pop-up where P1’s buttons don’t work, please open an issue and say where it happened.

Coming next: I’m working on a dynamic FPS mod with uncapped framerate for Origins. The goal is for the game to run at real speed at any framerate, instead of slowing down or speeding up. It’s not ready yet, but it’s coming!

Purple and Blonde from Eyes of the World Art Book

So someone on here previously listed headcanons about the Lumen Sages and I just came up with one. You know how when Witch Time is activated you can hear the chiming of a clock? Well what if in the future something similar was done for the Sages. When Balder activates Lightspeed in Tag climax, the world just goes monochrome and that's it, what if in the future, if we get more stuff on the Lumen, we hear church bells playing in the background of Lightspeed. Church bells were once used to help tell time so I think it would be fitting.

HII ive not posted my bayo ocs here in millenia bc i felt like this sub got really scary!! I still wanted to do a kind of unorganized dump of some recent bayo oc stuff

My actual printer/scanner refuses to work with me (fuck you HP) but thankfully I found this Canon in the basement and is actually doing the job 🥲

Sadly the software is old and it doesn't let me tweak the options too much, but it should be good enough.

Please pray for me and for this book to not get damaged in the process 🥺

EDIT: It is done, but the original file is giant (almost 5 GB), so I tried my best and compressed it. Now is like 40 MB (don't ask me how it works, I'm baffled too). Check it on your own and please let me know if there's any issue or something, so I can upload the fat version if needed.
