AndrƩ-Pierre Gignac has reportedly been linked to Austin FC for 2027, with a potential salary exceeding $5 million annually.
His experience could add value, but his age and the financial commitment make this a risky move.
No deal is confirmed.

When will the band be back? Sorry Iām out of the loop Iāve had a lot going on in personal life so Iām not really sure whatās going on with it.
I went to the last game and was confused on how quiet it was. It was actually SILENT.

Havenāt seen any public recap/summary/discourse of the town hall meeting up in round rock on Monday w/ Khalid and Loughnane. A few FC podcasts have alluded to a YouTube video of the full meet. Anyone have the link?

Purchase availability opened up for the game at Parmer Field at St. David's Performance Center
Never been. Was curious what these events were like, what the food and drink /vendor situation was like, if it is exciting like at the stadium or what the vibe was like. At a glance, it looks more like an enhanced intermural field with bleachers on one side that may be shaded.

It's bleak, but it's not hopeless just yet.
This site pegs our chances around 1%, 4th lowest in the league.
There's been a lot of hand wringing about our last 3 losses, but those were against top of the table teams that we were unlikely to win. The stretch of multiple comeback ties before them when we wanted wins is what did the most damage, but there is still hope.
3 of our last 4 games are against teams that are also currently on the outside looking in. The 4th is against the Galaxy in Carson.
According to Fotmob, our next 3 are "Manageable", while the next 3 for Colorado, RSL, Portland, Seattle, San Diego, and Minnesota are all "Hard". The Galaxy's next 3 are "Moderate". We absolutely should be able to jump the 4 teams that are currently ahead of us and challenge for that last playoff spot.
We have a history of finishing strong-ish to end the season, and with BV rounding back into form and Uzuni back from international play, I am about as optimistic as you can be about the next 4 games.
Is this team likely to win a Cup? LOL, no.
Do we have the ability to make it to the playoffs? Yes, we absolutely do.
Unlike most of the other North American professional sports leagues there is essentially no benefit to coming in last place to secure draft picks so we might as well let her rip. I for one thoroughly enjoy going to playoff games even if it means we get our faces smashed in by top of the table teams.

We're all glad to have Rodo and Estevez behind us but I'm still expecting to see some revenge vibes this game. Love em Or hate em those were our guys that got beheaded for that loss and the fans had to swallow that performance against the then and current dregs of the league. We better be playing for payback.

Good afternoon Austin fans,
I was watching the highlights of the last match and at the 60 minute mark there is a banner visible in the MLS highlights, partially obscured by the goal. Does it say "Oleshky"?
For those of you who don't know, Oleshky is a Ukrainian town currently occupied by Russia where the civilian population has been essentially cut off from critical supplies by the Russian occupation forces and the minefields they laid nearby.
Was the banner a fan protest? Thanks

This is my second game without the band in the supporters section. Definitely not the same. Where is the party atmosphere? Seemed very lack luster. The people sitting behind us were in town from Dallas for the F1 race and were talking about how much fun the Dallas Stars games are. They thought the Austin FC game would be more fun and lively. Love the players and the game. Just seemed a little boring to me. Sad thing is we just bought season tickets for the upcoming season. Hopefully the supporter band will come back.

They were enjoyable during the Nashville game, why none during the Vancouver game? I thought when they did the Star Spangled Banner after the Oh Canada anthem they would have started popping off. They didnāt.
Thank you for attending my TED Talk.

My friend left her Yeti Rambler at the game last night in section 121. It's gray and says "Dell Technologiesā on the side, so it's probably not worth much to anyone else but she'd love it back.
If you grabbed it or turned it in somewhere, pls message me! Happy to buy you a beer next game for your trouble. Thanks y'all

Please follow, and excerpt:
Standing up by Walking Out
Fandom is difficult.
We, as fans and supporters, love this club. We spend countless hours, money and sweat equity showing up match after match regardless of the results, but our showing up is our only power. Austin FC isnāt set up where fans have real ownership and can make ownership level decisions. As a result, protesting is the best way for us to send messages to the owners, other fans, and local media. In short, our presence and voice is our power.
Last match featured La Murgaās first ever walk out in response to Q2 Stadium staff removing Daniela Silva for wearing an āAbolish ICEā shirt after ICE shot and wounded a Venezuelan asylum seeker in Austin (They also didnāt seek to get him medical attention and denied his lawyer access or even knowledge of where he was).
The Front Office and ownership group could take a page from LAFC and Angel City who put out these statements in June when ICE operations were happening in Los Angeles. Thereās no reason why Austin FC couldnāt follow suit with similar actions. We aren't asking for Austin FC to abolish ICE, but we are asking them to hear our voice, our pain, and acknowledge that Q2 Stadium should be a safe place for all of our community.
