❔ • Feedback What do we think?
Here is my current setup featuring a 70”x24” L-shaped desk.
I’m looking for some advice on how to optimize my space and would love your feedback on a few specific areas:
• Monitor Setup: I currently have three 27” monitors. Only the middle one has an adjustable stand, but I’d eventually like to get them all at the same height. I’m considering monitor arms but I'm not sure which route to take. Has anyone tried alternative layouts for a triple 27” setup instead of having them all side-by-side?
• Desk Depth: I’d like to upgrade to a desk with more depth (around 30”) to reclaim some workspace and push the monitors back a bit.
• Desk Shape: I'm not fully committed to another L-shaped desk and am perfectly open to longer, straight desks.
Any suggestions on desks, monitor arms, or general layout ideas would be greatly appreciated!

🖼️ • Photos Desk hole for keyboard cable
Just an update on my recent post which I accidentally deleted. I did pull the trigger on drilling a hole for my keyboard cable. Im so glad i did it. 15mm hole using a forstner bit then added a silicone cover for a clean look. 👌🏼

❔ • Feedback Help with 140×50 cm desk setup (2× 24" monitors + drawing tablet arm)
Hi! I'm moving soon, and due to space constraints, I can only fit a 140x50 cm desk. I need some help figuring out the setup, especially the arm for my drawing tablet.
I have an XP-Pen Artist 22R Pro (57 × 33.5 × 4.5 cm, with a 100×100 mm VESA mount), and I'm not sure if there's a monitor arm that can do what I want.
Ideally, when I'm drawing, I'd like to pull the tablet towards me from the left side of the desk without disturbing my keyboard or other monitors (like in the second image). When I'm not using it, I'd like to swing it back to the left side and lower it so it's parallel to the desk's side edge.
Hope that makes sense! Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated. Thank you!

🖼️ • Photos This is my current setup (after optimizing it for a year 😄)
I've been optimizing it for quite a while and thought I'd show you my current setup.
- DELL ultrawide screen
- Insta360 webcam
- I mounted a small screen behind the webcam, which I use for video meetings so I can look directly at the people I'm talking to. Otherwise, I also use the screen for Apple Music or similar (Here I described it in more detail.)
- Chrome start page: Startwerk extension for Google Chrome (I don't like Google's default new tab page, so I built my own plugin for it and published it for free in the Chrome Store 🙂)
- Webcam Light: Elgato Key Light Neo
- Rode microphone
- Mouse: Logitech MX Master 4 (I previously had the Apple mouse, but the Logitech fits much better in the hand!)
- Desktop wallpaper: Solar Gradients by Apple (love it!)
- Elgato Stream Deck Plus to control lighting, microphone, etc.
I hope you like it. Do you have any questions?

A pretty basic configuration (M5 Max with 36GB memory and 1TB of storage), but that’s all I really need. Still thinking about the placement of certain things.

🖼️ • Photos Interesting mix of work and lounge area
Saw this setup recently. It's not a regular reception or waiting area. The desk is pretty substantial, so the whole area looks more like a workspace. But the seating, artwork, and open layout make it less formal.
I’m not sure how comfortable the desk would be for a full workday, but as a reception or meeting area, it has a nice balance.

🖼️ • Photos A Japanese closet workspace setup
Moved into this house 5 months ago and it was a challenge to come up with a modular setup. I wanted each part to be individually replaceable/fixable/... The box which the zaisu (chair without legs) is on is a storage box ... since I do take up an entire closet we did lose a good amount of storage space :p The box also allows me to have a floor sitting experience (what I was doing before) whilst also being able to sit "normally".
All by all I'm glad the functional part of my workspace is done, now it's time for decorating it! :D
