Feeling so loved!! I’m very new to tarot so can anyone offer your input (for each of the cards) so I can check my understanding of these cards? It feels like a way of telling me I am so cared for and I have so much opportunity to make this life something beautiful, essentially an “I love you, too.”❤️

i got into tarot because of my ex bf who ghosted me on a random sunday. the tarot gives me answers like:

“he will comeback but it will take time”
“he will comeback but his ego is so high rn”
“he still loves you but his ego is holding him back”
“he will be back but its gonna be messy”

something like that. i dont mind, actually im really hopeful and it kept me sane. but seeing spreads here about their exes and somehow it mostly read the same as my spreads.

this one person in another tarot subreddit was ghosted for 4 months, yet her spread is - 10 of pentacles, 8 of wands, empress. (she’s gonna be stuck in false hope…)

like… i’m not saying tarot isn’t real ofc its very real to us.

but dont u think its making us a bit delusional? has anybody ever got their ex back after the tarot said so?

not talking about “what to do” spreads that helps a lot.

p.s. i moved on, this is from a point of view of someone who stopped hoping.

I would interpret this as if she is going though change of environment -(she moved away) and is trying to settle down and create familiar environment. for this reason they are distant.

I’m beginning so my interpretation might not be really correct.

My friend hurt my feelings during my birthday and I let her know, she has been distant ever since. I’m a bit surprised that she is the one being distant towards me when she is the one who hurt me. My grandpa is in the hospital, I asked the cards why he hasn’t let go yet to pass away. The hierophant came flying out while shuffling, then I pulled the 4 of wands, queen of pentacles and the empress.

I believe he is holding on because of my grandma, they celebrated 70 years together this past September. Hierophant and 4 of wands representing marriage, family and home, while the queen of pentacles and the empress represent my grandma. Please let me know your thoughts in this hard time.

at first i did the divination with the whole deck (that being minor and major arcana)
but i think i messed up the shuffling and got this

that seemed a bit off cause that was the order the deck arrived
so i reshuffled it

so i did it again
and this time it seemed more interesting

i got the second time:

while i do get some of these
i am not sure what it might fully mean

I have exams in November that are really important for my career. They would make or break me.
Question-What would be the result of my exams? Will I be happy with the outcome will I pass or fail again for the third time
My interpretation- 9 of pentacles straight up says that I will get the result of my hard work. The hierophant maybe represents the institution or the body that conducts exams.
I have a lot of anxiety as depicted by 9 of swords but ultimately it will be over with the world, with a happy outcome.

Is there anything I haven’t picked from this spread. I would learn to hear from more experienced readers since I am just a beginner

for context, we have been in no contact for sometime now. We had been seeing eachother for a few months and then he chickened out.

Today has been a mess. The past few weeks have been a mess. Last night I didn’t get to sleep until 3AM, and I woke up at 10:00AM. Somewhere between then and now, I fell back asleep and woke up at 12:30PM when I remembered I was sleeping and had missed my appointment. I forgot my dream at that point but it suddenly came back to me a few minutes after I came to.

In my dream, I was at home with my family. My dad and best friend was there, as well as a few other girls I don’t talk to anymore. In my dream I was so upset. I remember wanting to die and start over. I ran out of the house and went into one of the large shed buildings in my back yard. I saw a shadow pass the window and after a while a man walked in.

He was as old as my dad. He reminded me a lot of my dad’s sweet and gentle friend that would come around a lot, but it wasn’t him. He told me he was in a band. He gave me a hug, told me everything was okay and that he had something to give me. I walk out of the building with him and follow him to the drive way. In the drive way is sitting an older Chevy car and the driver side was on the right. Maybe from the 80s or 90s. It had a yellow band going around the middle sides of the car. On the car we’re at least 4 tarot cards. My brain tells me that the high priestess was one of them, it’s at least the one I feel most intuitive about.

He told me the car was his and that he only got caught drunk driving with it twice, and something else that I can’t quite remember. Maybe that it was stolen from him? He said he wanted to give it to me. I went back inside and saw that my best friend and dad was the only one there, and that the other girls had left. They were talking on my couch. I went to my room and when I came back out I told my dad about it and he said the man had left already, but that I had his number.

I go back out to the car with my dad and we drive around the city. There were 2 girls who joined us but they were quiet and left shortly after. I’m not sure who they were.

I told my friend about this. She’s very spiritual and does better at deciphering tarot and messages better than I do. She brought up a point I didn’t even consider, which is my dad’s dead friend that I was named after. He died in a car accident a short while before I was born. My dad joined a band during my teenage years with the brothers of his dead friend. They don’t talk much anymore so I’m reluctant to ask about it. My friend thinks that maybe the man I saw was my dad’s dead friend. I have no idea what he looks like or what he was like so I’m not sure at all.

TL;DR

I wanted to die in my dream. A man came to me and gave me a car with tarot cards on it, one being the high priestess.

Could someone please help me. How would one read the high priestess reversed, six of swords reversed, and six of cups. The context was “how does he currently feel about me” I’m just now beginning to read tarot and I honestly find it confusing how to read everything together. From the meaning I looked up I took it as he’s confused as to how to feel about me but also has some nostalgia? If someone could be so kind to help me I’d appreciate it so much!

My instinct says that he wants to build something slowly with me rather than rushing in. But he also wants control over how something between us may develop. With Queen of cups he sees me as someone he can open up to and be close to. But there’s a certain guardedness around him. Charito can also mean that he has strong feelings and shows them via actions and not words. He views me as long term and is trying to hold on to the feelings he has so that he can come across as measured.

With chariot next to Queen of cups - would it be safe to say that he’s moving towards me with a strong intention behind it

I will tell my interpretation too but first let me tell you the questions and cards i got. I was doing one card pull coz it’s only been two weeks since i got my first deck. But most of the cards are jumping ones while i was shuffling.

So yesterday i did a protection spell with mother Hekate and also did a luck and money spell, for the first time too.
So i asked my deck if the luck and money spell was successful and got Queen of Wands. (Jumping card)

Then i asked if i should start working with clay. I've been thinking of trying clay and make art with it and start an Instagram page to sell it. So i asked if i should go with it or if I'm on the right track. And i got 10 of Cups. (Jumper)
Then i wanted to know more so then i split the deck a picked the top card and got The Sun. And when i put the deck back together, i picked the top card again instinctively and got Queen of Wands again.

I also wanted to ask if mother Hekate has a message for me and got The Sun again.
Then i asked about my current page with my boyfriend on insta and yt, is it gonna be successful and got The Sun AGAIN.

Then i asked what do i need to do now for to me achieve all that (like my successful art page and the page w my bf) and got King of cups and 10 of Pentacles.

MY INTERPRETATION:
The cards are showing success, that im on the right path and if i go this way i will be successful, and have a happy and abundant life. I need to be my authentic self, and i need to leave my fears behind. I need to step in, and do what i always wanted to do, and don’t need to be afraid anymore. I was in a very bad time in my life for years, and now im at a better place and happy for the first time in my life. So i think, from now on everything will work out, if i stay in the right direction and do the right things and like stay in alignment. I need to believe in myself and my work. And a heads up for my art page and the page i have with my bf?

My best friend and I are not talking due to me basically calling her out.

The cards I pulled:
2 of swords in reversed
Death in reversed with the devil (the devil always pop out when I read about our situation)
The star in reversed
The world clarified with the 10 of cups with 7 of cups in reversed
Page of the cups clarified with the 7 of wands, queen of pentacles, and the tower.
(The 3 of pentacles was in the back of the deck as well)

From my interpretation I get that she’s trying to distract herself from the situation and trying to decide if she wants to stay friends with me or not.

(I need help understanding these cards more because I rarely do readings on myself 😵‍💫)

Hey guys. Tarot beginner, I asked questions such as ‘What area do I need to focus on to move on’ and ‘Does my ex still think about me’

From the 6 of swords I resonate with feeling resistant to change, the breakup was probably good, since there were issues, but I blame myself often for what I could have done better and im still trying to reach out to her.

Ace of cups, I have barely created anything these last few months, im usually making music, i have mostly just been writing for a while now, but that’s usually just basic journaling. I was always told and seen when you get new cards and are trying to bond with them you sleep with them under your pillow. I was just wondering if it had to only be you? I would imagine you only want your energy. Will their energy affect it with it being under the pillow? I’m referring to like sleeping in the bed with your partner. Can you or do you need to be alone?

I’ve been having some issues with a friendship recently, and it in fact has ended as far as I’m aware. I just pulled a few cards about it twice, asking a broad question the first time, and a more specific question the second.

I pulled the tower and judgment reversed for the same outcome/present question of the situation both times. I’m honestly a little worried, and was hoping I could be pointed towards your interpretation of a clear meaning? I have my own, but I feel like I’m too much of a beginner to understand what seems like a giant neon sign in my face!

I believe it is essentially telling me what I already know, which is the situation ended shockingly/rather manically, and it ended a long term friendship. I suppose I’m just struggling to understand how judgment in reverse plays fully into that?

Going through my quarter life crisis. I’m 24, just got a divorce ending my 6 year relationship, moved on my own to NYC. Having one of the darkest periods of my life. My interpretation: high priestess (my identifier card) signaling that deep down I know what I need to do, I know I’m worth more and I need to trust myself enough to be on my own. Death meaning I need a complete change in how I’m currently operating and perceiving my life, hanged man meaning I’m stuck in these patterns and that’s what’s causing my suffering? Usually I don’t pull all three major arcana at the same time and wondering what this could mean or if anyone has another interpretation I’m not seeing. Hello! I’m brand new to tarot and I am wondering about what is encouraged regarding how you place the cards. I know some people consider when a card is reversed and others disregard it. (I don’t really know what to make of it yet)

Flipping the cards by their sides doesn’t feel as natural/instinctual to me as flipping it from its bottom. Should I go with what feels most natural to me, or should I stick to flipping its side so as to not create confusion with the reversals?

It hurt that people were so judgemental when I was looking for clarity and well reasoned responses. I don’t take anything at face value and while I believe in tarot I was doing it for a bit of fun and just wondered if there was any basis in it as a tool. I read into the responses and it was quite accurate for me and yet I still questioned it and brought that question here. Stop this self righteous talk it’s not pleasant
