Questions How often do you get the CPU to jump offsides on fake snaps?
I dont think ive gotten the CPU to jump offsides all year. But the CPU has no problem getting my D line to jump

It’s well known that since a particular update, the carousel has been cooked. Since that update, it made it borderline impossible for coaches with high prestige to get fired regardless of record and job security.
These are screenshots of some high prestige coaches in my dynasty file who clearly would be fired in real life not getting fired on the game simply because of prestige.
On top of them not getting fired, they’re all candidates to get hired elsewhere. Freeman left ND for the NFL… Kirby got the job. Whittingham retired from Michigan, a 7-5 Dabo Swinney (Coaching at Florida) got the job. It’s so frustrating because no matter your record as a head coach, if your coach level or prestige isn’t high enough, you simple will not be a candidate.

Anyone else run this defense that can give me tips? Are their certain adjustments I should make each game for this defense? I’m using FIU year 1 and I know I don’t really have the talent at the moment to be very effective with this defense but I’m trying to make the best out of the situation.

Context: Babineaux has started and won two titles. Azur has started but I went back to Babineaux mid year. I thought one or both would leave which is why i got Abiamiri from the portal. I want to keep him to start next year and recruit his successor. Bonus: Azur is on preseason Heisman watch.

Has anyone done extensive research on this? I know Penn State, Oregon and I believe ASU have quite a few options, but is there a list of who has what or has the most?

This is 26. Heisman difficulty don’t even get me started on the last second TD that had just happened. If they had scored the 2 pt because the camera didn’t follow the QB on a speed option I may have needed a new TV.

Has anyone found a reliable fix for top end guys going unsigned in the portal and then just disappearing. For example in year 2 of a new dynasty and after the transfer window closed both Underwood and Iamaleava are just gone lol.

Sorry if this has been answered, but I couldn't find an answer to this specifically:
Is it better to hard sell + soft sell (with 1 x)
Or
Hard sell + DM + Social (for a total of 55 hours)?
Thanks

Already within winning field goal range, Alton Wall’s ill advised lob to the back corner of the end zone falls way short of his WR’s hands and into the outstretched arms of Texas Tech CB Trumaine Slay, sinking the Cougars bid to return to the National Championship and foiling their attempt to one-up the coach that left them.
Texas Tech will move on to the Semifinals to play powerhouse Pittsburgh in the Orange Bowl.

There is a mod called, "dynasty midgame save" that has completely fixed the main issue of this game for me.
There is a known issue where subbing players will cause the game to crash. So if you want to give reps to your backups and develop them you risk the crash and having to replay the game. In one game the crash happened with 38 seconds remaining. I resorted to turning-off wear and tear, turning off injuries and just playing my starters the entire game just to avoid this. Sometimes the game crashed anyways. Online or offline, mods or no mods the crashes happened. From support it has to do with a memory leak and there's no fix.
This mod captures every snap of the game. So when it crashes I can relaunch the game from the last snap. All the stats are preserved, It's awesome. I love the modding community.
I have no relationship with this mod or author I'm just a user who wants to spread awareness and thanks.

Trying to run one defensive formation/set as an every down defense. Preferably the 4-4 or 5-2.
I’m thinking with custom macros you could create base defense checks to 2x2, 3x1, and Empty.
I think we could be a Cover 3 or Cover 2 base call and then have macros for offensive problem formations.
I know, I know, “running those defenses against the spread or veer n shoot won’t work”, but I’m hoping one of you sickos out there may have tried this before and will have some good advice.

I play this game just for some fun while I’m working away from home staying in hotels. Can some one help me understand how my team (App st.) can hold an equally ranked opponent to ~20ish points and I steal a win. Yet any time I face a 66 ovr team I lose a 48-51 shootout? Shit pisses me off so badly. Just lost to JMU to lose out on a playoff spot.

I have a couple questions about turning off the portal.
When you completely turn off the transfer portal do CPU teams recruit more highschool players? I’ve played a few dynasties this game cycle and I’ve noticed a lot of teams only signing like 4-8 high school players. Does eliminating the portal improve that?
When you turn off the portal is there still the “portal window” ? I’m assuming this would just give you a few more weeks for highschool recruiting before national signing day?

I really enjoyed their playbook in 26, has anyone used it in 27? What are your thoughts?

Honestly I’m far past annoyed. Year over year EA markets “ai playcall adaptability”…“the ultimate chess match against the cpu”, and it’s just not that at all. It’s just the same hard countering play mirroring that’s always been in ea football games for years. They just juiced the CPU ai to react faster.
And let me just say, I always beat the cpu by 40-50 every game. I know how to manipulate the defense with hot routes and audible shifting and things of that nature. But when it comes to just picking a play and running it, the CPU’s play is always in the perfect counter. Doesn’t matter game situation, down and distance, or how many times you call a certain play/playtype. I’ve tested it every which way, removing repetitive plays, changing playbooks, using formation subs, cycling plays in the same formation, cycling concepts, disguising defense, calling never before called plays…doesn’t matter. Inside run…blitz/ heavy box, outside run…light box with numbers to the run side, crossing concepts…match, sitting concepts..man or cover 2, any route over 7 yds.. cover 3/4. Call man on defense…slants, crossers and mesh, cover two all verts, cover 4 all verts, blitz… quick play away from blitz. Etc.
Like no one ever notices how your receivers are never wide open if you don’t hot route? I see people on here complaining about how only like 5 offensive plays actually work how they’re supposed to. They work, it’s just that you’re running them into a perfectly countered play every time. Go into practice mode and pick any play and then randomize the CPU’s play and watch how much more often your play is successful.
Sorry for the long rant. I just think it’s immersion breaking. Am I the only one that feels like that though?

I so badly want to play this game with them but they don't have the passion for college football like the pros and don't care for building up teams like i do. I just got into it in 2024 from the games and it has been so fun but playing offline dynasty by myself does get boring after so long. I guess the sports not for everyone
