With Halloween just around the corner, I wanted to create an illustration inspired by the holiday. The biggest challenge was deciding which monster characters I could fit into the limited opening of the zipper. Interestingly, much of my inspiration came from the classic monsters featured in the old Scooby-Doo TV series. Their iconic designs and spooky atmosphere were exactly what I was looking for.

#Inktober2026 Day 26 - “Zip.” I have long thought that Diana and Jen would be good friends, and that if they lived in the same universe, they would go on adventures together. #WonderWoman #fanart

With the “Fracture” prompt, I imagined many drawings of broken bones. Instead, I took the idea in a different direction and explored a fractured mind. With Halloween right around the corner, who better represents a fractured mind than Dr. Jekyll? To suggest a fractured mind, I designed a broken glass or mirror, with each shard showing the process of Dr. Jekyll’s brilliant mind becoming the deranged Mr. Hyde.

i made it late at night because i was bored
