A friend of mine is graduating tomorrow and the celebration is at Bingeman’s but she’s worried about it.

So does anyone know if the graduation event will be crowded or not and around how long it might last for?

I've read alot in the last 5min here that conestoga has ruined their reputation and slashed programs to save money. More importantly though, is the micro credential "manufacturing leadership" a respectable course?

I've seen its standardized with Mohawk and Niagara colleges so is it safe to say its free from mismanagement?

Disclaimer: I'm sure there's good things to say about conestoga and I'm not debating. I just have concerns about what I've seen before signing up

Hey guys, Im starting the PN program at the Milton campus in January and im hoping to hear from current or former students.

Id really appreciate honest opinions about the program, especially:

- How are the profs and quality of teaching?

- Are the nursing labs and facilities good?

- How are the clinical placements and hands on experience?

-Whats the overall student experience at the Milton campus?

- Would you recommend the program, or choose a different college if you could go back?

Im having a hard time finding some info about the campus, so Id love to hear from anyone who’s actually studied there.

is there anyone currently in their first semester of practical nursing that can share the math context?

For those that worked while in the PN program I’m curious how many shifts a week did you find manageable to work semesters 1-3? Does it vary per semester? Thanks!

how does receiving you scrubs/ books work if its included in your tuition fees? and what exactly is included in it? (bp cuff, kit, ect)

I’m also curious about the social side of things! Is it relatively easy to make friends and find people to study with, or does everyone tend to keep to themselves? I’d love to make friends and have a good support system throughout the program

Went to visit the Doon campus the other day after 13 years and it had completely changed for the worse in my opinion. The blue room “cozy corner” no longer has Pizza Pizza or Subway, the room is used as storage now. There seems to be a Starbucks that is no longer operational. The cafeteria was also closed at 1pm, it used to be open until 3pm when I attended the college. There seems to have been a Starbucks in E wing as well, but it wasn’t open either. Overall the campus gives the vibe of a dying/ depressing mall. Would love to get an update from students or professors just to know why it has gone downhill.

I completed a Animation and Game Fundamentals course at Conestoga College from September 2025 to April 2026. Right now, I am doing a 3D Animation course at Seneca College (September 2026 to April 2027).

PGWP will be my next step, so I am feeling a bit nervous about it and wondering how the November 2024 IRCC rules apply, what will be length and processing time of my PGWP?

This is a Serious question, I don't live in the area so I'm not sure if its a place I can trust putting my motorcycle. My family thinks it will get stolen, so I'm not really sure what to do. Or is there underground parking somewhere? (even if it's not the school parking). I would be staying on residence so it will always be parked at the school (not just day time). I genuinely worked so hard to get this bike and if it gets stolen I don't have enough money to get another. It is a sportbike so the appeal is there I guess(?)

Mature student here. I've been avoiding using AI on my assignments, other than to find sources of information, because I know that it'll probably get detected in my old school writing. I want to learn some complicated stuff about coding and my subject, but every time i use AI I feel that I see the answer and don't actually learn anything. Does anyone have any tips to actually form durable knowledge in my own brain based on what AI can help with? Like should I make it quiz me or something? I refuse to pay money for anything.

This may be dumb to ask but when should i expect to receive the refund for opting out for the health plan? I did it a few weeks ago. I only remember it saying it’s a certain amount of time after the opt out period ends on September 30th, but I don’t remember when it was lol.
