RIP Walter Koenig
So sad to hear about the news. In his memory, if anyone wants to read a good Chekov story, I'd recommend "Identity Theft" by Greg Cox

Any Recommendations on the Stargazer Order?
I’m planning to read the stargazer novels, I wonder if I should start with valiant, then 6 stargazer novels, buried age and finish with reunion? Or is there another recommended reading order?

Questions I stopped reading the ST relaunch books after the end of the Destiny trilogy, and the DS9 books after “Unity.”Can I pick up “The Fall: Revelation and Dust” without feeling completely lost? Does it bring new readers up to speed?
Thanks in advance!

Questions Imzadi Forever Kindle edition missing Imzadi 2?
Just cracked my Kidle edition of Imzadi Forever. Isn't this supposed to have both books? Mine only has the first. Did I misunderstand or is there some change since purchase? Granted it has been sitting unopened in my collection for a while but it feels like a change to the digital version since purchase or I misunderstood from the beginning.

Just Finished Reading The 34th Rule
The 34th Rule - An excellent story about Ferengi culture, racism and Quark and Rom, not to mention the Bajorans. There's not much else to say, tbh. My next read will be Survivors, though I've been slowly getting through the audiobook of A Stitch in Time by Andy Robinson as the paperback is usually around 100 pounds. 4.25/5. Would've been a great plotline for the show, as it was originally pitched as an episode.

Questions Trek audiobooks narrated by the actors?
I’m looking for Star Trek audiobooks narrated by the actors themselves? I just saw a post for The 34th Rule and thought that would make for a great audiobook if narrated by the Ferengi actors.

Discussion Weekly Reading Discussion
Hey everyone! What have yall gotten into this week?
Have a set reading order or perhaps going through a mini series? Or just picking up random one off missions?
Delving more into space, stations, science anomalies and asteroids or new planets , new races and unique cultures? Perhaps a combination?
Has a char you weren't really keen on had a good moment or was a char you like treated well or not so much by the author?
Was there fast paced action scenes or some introspective char moments? Did the emotional weight of a scene resonate with you or fall a little flat?
Let us know how your reads went, and what you're looking forward to next week! Happy reading yall!

Picard: The Art and Making of The Series
galleryPicked this up last week from eBay for less than $12 because it had some slight damage which is barely noticeable. I’ve been loving this book which is chock full of images and behind the scenes tidbits. Covers all three and it’s just brilliant.
Do you collect ST art books? Which one do you cherish?

Questions VOY - Architects of Infinity: Harry Kim Spoiler
I am currently finishing Star Trek Voyager Architects of Infinity and I am just reaching the point where

(continuing further down just to avoid maybe some spoiler appears in the preview... Not really knowing how safe it is to mark a whole post as spoiler...)

Harry Kim is about to lose Nancy Conlon. I need to know: is there any additional story about Harry Kim and his daughter? I did not find anything. And also: I am only familiar with the Star Trek Voyager novel by Beyer, but is this the end? Is there no additional Voyager storyline? 😱

Book Deal Great Source of Trek Books!
I have a Trek book source in Toledo, Ohio. He's recently received three large boxes of books in addition to the shelves he already has. If you're local, check.it out. If not, give him a call. He may be willing to mail you a box. It's NeverMore Used Books iat 2628 Central Ave, Toledo, OH. (419)593-0093. He has a lot of OS, some NG, a few DSN and some nice hardback as well. I bought a bunch from him yesterday and told him I'd spread the word.

Pulled my collection out of storage
galleryFor the first time since the pandemic, a divorce, three moves and two jobs, I pulled my whole collection out of storage. I pretty much collect the books set after the shows, or about a new 'hero' ship. What are you favorites among my collection? What should I start with (for a good story, I know there's an official reading list, but I want to start with something fun)?

Are any of the DS9 novelisations worth a read?
I've never heard much about them, but they're pretty easy to find. Are they worth picking up, do they add much?

12 book haul
Its not a problem, I swear-
Losing the Peace I don't plan to read for a while as I haven't even begun the post nemesis EU but its nice to have. I've heard a lot of negative things about Fearful Summons, but it might be a its so bad its funny type of read.

Is it safe to consider Pathways firm canon since it was written by a co-creator of Voyager?
How many Trek novels have actually been written by a creative who worked on one of the shows? I know Kirsten Beyer wrote the Voyager re-launch novels and went on to write some on the new Trek tv series.
Anyone else?

Discussion Weekly Reading Discussion
Hey everyone! Read any cool books lately?
Perhaps some with neat science aspects? Maybe you favor the ones the focus on alien cultures?
Did any char/crew standout to you in terms of writing or arcs in the story? Someone you maybe hadn't considered before as "interesting", so something unexpected?
Was there a cool piece of tech or biome description that really "worked well" for you?
Were the antagonists interesting or have understandable motives? Perhaps the reasons made sense but their actions were malicious or malinformed? Or were they "evil for the sake of story "?
Let us know how your reads went and what you're looking forward to next week. Happy reading yall!

News Holodeck Archive for Android | Coming Soon
Hi all,
First, an apology. I know the Android version of Holodeck Archive has taken far longer than I'd hoped. Work commitments and personal responsibilities have eaten into development time, and I'm sorry for the wait.
The good news is that we're nearly there, and I'm aiming to launch by the end of October.
Help wanted: closed testers
To release on Google Play, I first need to run a closed test. Google requires at least 12 testers to be opted in continuously for 14 days before the app can go live. I'm hoping some of you will help.
If you'd like to take part comment below or send me a DM.
Once the closed test goes live all you’d need to do is stay opted in for the full 14 days. That's the key requirement, and you don't need to do much beyond installing it and using as you would do normally.
Feedback is very welcome too, whether bugs, missing titles, or anything that looks off.
Once the test period is done, the app goes live. Built in partnership with Star Trek Book Club!
Thank you all for your patience and support!

Star Trek Book Haul
My wife found a small stash of Trek books from a charity sale so bought them for me as a surprise. I've never read any Trek Books before, have I got any good ones here?
From briefly reading this sub, I understand Diane Duane and Peter David write some of the better ones. Has anyone got and particular recommendations from these?
Thanks all

Preview Some old ones!
Here’s a few old books. I really enjoy this community. The Blish books will always hold a special place in my heart, I so loved them as a kid.
